Don't waste your time with other books and online courses! I tried them all and by far Veritas is the most effective. It may seem expensive but is well worth your investment.

The instructor was great and it was also nice to meet other people in the exact same situation. Good luck!

After researching all of the different GMAT prep courses, I ultimately chose Vertias because of the extra amount of classroom time and the resources available. I took the July-August 2011 Houston Full Course taught by Mark Alan Robinson, and I have no regrets about my decision. Mark was not only extremely knowledgeable but also genuinely interested in the success of his students.

Was recommended to take this class from a friend of a friend and I'm glad I did. Mark is a great teacher and it really shows in his classes. He's very personable, approachable, and keeps the class entertaining. He understands how to present the material in a way that isn't complicated and gives helpful tips/tricks that aren't in the Veritas books. Glad I took this class even if I don't reach the score I want because Mark throws in advice about how to think like a real business person. He goes off personal experiences and draws it back to either the class or real life and how we should think as a business student in MBA school. THANKS MARK FOR EVERYTHING!

I studied for 4 months on my own using Kaplan, GMAT Official Guide, and Manhattan books. I felt I was really prepared, however, when I took the test I only scored 640 - depressing according to what I was expecting and my practice tests.

I invested $$$ and hired an excellent private tutor from Veritas, Neil. He helped me strengthen the areas in which I was week and helped me raise my score to 700 in only 5 weeks.

I studied really hard and watched every online class on the Veritas website. The practice tests provided by Veritas were scored harder than the real test. I only got 620 on the practice tests, althogh they were really similar.

Really happy with Veritas and my 700 score!
