I was done and dusted with GMAT; it was now time to focus on my MBA applications. I really had some great stories for my applications and started looking for a consultant who could do justice to them.   When speaking to Jen, I got the positive vibe of her believing in me. She matched me up with Joy and she was like the missing puzzle in my application. Jen and Joy transformed my good essays into superb essays. The ability of Joy to bring a fresh perspective to my stories made them very appealing. And the result was better than expected- Harvard admit, Haas admit, and Cornell admit with a partial scholarship.  Getting a dream admit is something that I owe to Joy Pincus and Jen. I was so happy with Jason’s suggestions on my Booth’s essays, resume, and overall application so much that I regret spending so much money on other consultants in round 1. His consulting was not limited to giving just comments/edits rather very detailed pointers on how I can make my essays more engaging while keeping my tone intact. It would be an understatement to say that Jason got me through the much complex MBA program. He will give you insights into what the business schools are looking for in a very honest and straightforward way. I was looking for a consultant who understands that my profile is off-beat. The standard approach taken for MBA can not be exactly applied in my case. After speaking to several consultants I was getting the same responses. But Aringo changed my thought. I could gauge that they understood the nuances of my application and said YES to them. Jason did an amazing job of finding a thread in my story because of which I was able to put a differentiating factor in my profile. Also, I was ambitious when applying to schools (and I knew that). But somehow, I was not very open to rejections. I started to self-doubt but Jenifer motivated me at every step and showed me the way to improve.  He was always first to say good luck before the interview and always checked on me once my interview is done. It felt good to see someone as invested in my application as I was. Ultimately, I got the admission letter from London Business School which made me so happy that I just could not stop smiling. I can say without a doubt that Jason and Aringo team are the reason behind this happiness.

Ok, so I took the GMAT, I knew I have to do an MBA, I knew why I have to do an MBA, I researched everything- but the issue was I had all the information and I did not know a way to filter it out. A colleague of mine recommended ARINGO and asked me to speak to them once. Jen told me exactly what I wanted to know. She helps me chalking out the plan in that initial call only. I signed up with them for 4 schools then. I had my brainstorming session done with Prasanth and discussed my stories. He also told me the correct way of framing the essays- as I was getting overboard with my details and not paying much attention to what the school is asking. I was aiming at top schools only and I knew I was aiming high???? Still was able to crack the interview from Tuck and LBS. The consulting did not end there. They helped me deciding on the school as well, and I chose London Business School. I can’t say it enough- it was Prasanth, Jen, ARINGO who steered me through the success.

So, I worked with ARINGO and I got an admit to INSEAD. Jenifer was very helpful throughout the process. Shimri quickly and efficiently managed to have a strategy on my application. His suggestions on my essays helped me a lot and I could see a significant improvement when comparing with the first draft. The interview help was also very good.  I was able to crack INSEAD with their support. The experience with ARINGO was pretty smooth and AWESOME.

After gaining substantial years of experience, I wanted to go back to school for formal business education as the next logical step for my career. When I navigated through programs, I realized that my work exp is higher than the class average of most of the schools. And I definitely did not want to do part-time/EMBA programs. So I was able to handle all the questions in the actual interview easily.  Getting the INSEAD brand attached to my profile for life is something I owe to Aringo. You guys made the difference.

I have an Engineering and a Defense background. I wanted to do an MBA to climb through the career ladder. I had an incredible experience with Aringo in realizing my dream. While I knew why I want an MBA, I did not know how to write winning apps???? This is where my consultant Ori Elkin played an important role. Reaching out to ARINGO was the best decision made for my MBA applications. Shimri and Chaya guided me from day one and helped me with everything that I needed for my applications. Review: I didn't know much about the MBA application process at first and was skeptical of using a consulting service at all, but now I can’t even imagine what I would have done without them! After speaking to Shimri, at a very early stage, I was highly impressed by the honest suggestions about my candidature. My background is very different and Shimri explained how good this was and which aspects we can show the schools. I started working with ARINGO, then stopped due to lack of time to prepare for the GMAT. Throughout the process, Aringo were flexible with my timing and although we postponed the applications by one year, we continued the work exactly where we left. I worked with Rachel who is a fantastic consultant. ARINGO helped me with my career goals and gave genuine feedback on my essays. Under the mentoring of Shimri and Rachel, I applied to a handful of schools. I got acceptance from 5 schools and I selected LBS as my B school. While I knew I wanted to pursue MBA, I was not very familiar with the admission process. I wanted a consultant who can do justice with my story and should highlight what is needed in my MBA application. In the complimentary call with Jenifer, she was able to answer the specific questions that I have about my work profile, goals, etc.  I then filled the profile summary document and prepared the resume in the format suggested by the team. I then waited for the strategy team to come with their insights which were indeed valuable. Jason then helped me to narrow down my strengths and weakness. What I liked about them is that they don’t impose their thoughts. They suggest understanding if the client is able to resonate with what they are proposing, and then proceed. I was originally referred to Aringo by a friend who had all good things to talk about them. Before enrolling. I already had a positive feeling. When I spoke to Jen, she was both reassuring and honest with my profile.   My exam score was on spot but I was a bit clueless on schools and career goals. My background was also a bit non-traditional- I had a BSc in Biology. Jason helped me in devising my career goals that were both relevant and specific. Further, as I was targeting Round 2 applications, getting an admit from a good school was my major concern. Jason worked with me on essays of multiple schools and I was surprised to see the resources Aringo had to answer school-specific parts of the essays like why this school, clubs, core values, etc. With the combination of Jason’s expertise and the Aringo team, I was able to submit the application comfortably well before the deadline. The interview help was also very smooth and my queries were answered promptly. To my disbelief I got 2 admits- a) Tuck b) Tepper ($30k scholarship). I was overjoyed and decided on taking the Tepper.

When I got my GRE score, I knew I have got the basic requirement for my ISB application by being at par with the class average score. Now, I need to take care of the other factors.   Mark provided me the ideal balance of support and push that I needed for a successful application. He understood my strengths and weaknesses better than me. As the ISB application does not have an option to upload the resume, Mark took the required time to understand aspects of my background outside of just work and academics. His impeccable story-telling skill, helped me to cut down my essays without changing my narrative. He also guided me on how to encapsulate my roles & responsibilities, extracurricular activities, profile gaps in the strict word limits of 100-200 characters. I felt strong both with my essays and application. Also, the interview prep was handled well.  Overall, I felt great being mentored by Mark, and his dedication to helping his clients is visible in his extent of support. I highly recommend him as a consultant.

Coming from the conventional background of an Indian IT engineer, I did not know if I could make it into global top B schools. I have been academically strong but when it comes down to creating stories of my journey, I do not have the right skill set.  For the same reason, I went out to seek help from admission consultants. Post GMAT, I had this dilemma of whether or not I should hire an admission consultant. After doing a bit of research, I realized there are too many factors involved in preparing the applications and I would need the help of an expert.  After going through the reviews at various forums, I narrowed down my research to ~6 consultants and scheduled the free session with each of them. When I spoke to Jen, I was dazzled by the way she was prepared for the call. Aringo’s process clicked with me and hence I chose them.  Rachel (my consultant) helped me crafting my story keeping my voice and thoughts intact. Her feedback was honest and direct (but not in an imposing way). Her inputs on my resume did wonders to it. She took off the unnecessary jargon and made me highlight the attributes that schools look for in an MBA candidate. Her suggestion of quantifying the impact of my work made the resume stronger. The interview prep was also very streamlined and the mock session was simulated well. Babson admit happened because of them.
