A detailed comprehensive course (Verbal)

Well, when i decided to go for an MBA , i knew that i need to go through a daunting test GMAT which is rather a strategy based test than a "hardwork" based. The first thing that was overwhelming was the plethora of courses available online across the internet. One could easily falter for a bad decision to take a course which is not as quite good as few are who has proved their legacy over time. One such brand i must say is E-gmat Verbal. I was little confused about the course content and hence i took some free webinars and a trial course which was a deciding factor in taking the course. I must say the course content through which i went ,although few on trial basis, was exceptionally different than other course content available online. I made a decision there and then that i would be going for E-gmat course(Verbal) and i must say that was a great decision i took .

I registered for Verbal online course. But i could not go through the entire course by the expiry of the course due to some professional and personal reasons not attributed to sloppiness or stuff like that. But then i took my GMAT date and extended my course for two months at a discounted price. Still i could not finish my course due to my work schedule. After that i have got a mail by Egmat stating that they are going to extend my course till my GMAT test date. I was relaxed then and started studying seriously at least a hour a day.

The first thing i liked about its content is their structured course which lets you study and go step by step as you make progress through the course. The content of Egmat is well designed with superb GMAT like questions at the end. Their pre-concept test before taking you through the concept and post assessment test help you to ascertain the progress and concept that you gained while going through the content which is a superb experience. You are able to know where you stand concept wise and after post assessment you know how much you have progressed. Their OG and VR and practice file are a great tool for practicing the concepts studied and revising the content. I must say their content and structure helped me to go from a level of V 26 to V40 (in Mocks)

The experience of the study of GMAT course thorough Egmat was enriching and i would definitely recommend anyone to take Egmat verbal course undoubtedly .

I thank Egmat for the course and privilege it provided me for extension. I think i am ready for the test as i am scoring in MOCKS 740+ . My test date is scheduled on 6 th NOV 2018.

Renowned for Verbal, E-gmat is equally amazing for Quant

E-gmat is known for its Verbal lessons, However, this doesn't make its Quant any less worthwhile. For students like me who studied mathematical concepts long ago and forgot basics, this course is simply worth going for. when I gave my first mock , I thought scoring 49 in Quant will be cakewalk, but to my utter shock, I ended with the score of 41. I couldn't able to recall most of the concepts, only able to solve 28/37 question and struggled a lot in Data Sufficiency.

The Step by step process taught in Quant Online course has greatly help me recollect all the concepts needed for GMAT. E-gmat always focuses on understanding the question step thoroughly and then go into options. It never tell about taking shortcuts. The Scholaranium is simply amazing. It brings out your weak area which I feel no personal instructor can even do. I will highly recommend Quant Live for everyone who wish to take there score above 49. I am now consistently scoring 50 in most of the mocks.

When I started preparing for GMAT, my quant was always good (above average at the least) but I always struggled with verbal. English being a second language for me made it all the more difficult. When I started using eGMAT courses online, my score used to be in the range of 25 - 28 pulling down my overall score drastically. I was clueless in all three sections of verbal. On searching online for quality prep material, I came across suggestions to use eGMAT. The course has helped me drastically improve in SC, CR and RC.

Starting from a 20-30% accuracy in SC, I have reached 80-90% accuracy in nearly three months. This improvement is due to both comprehensive study material and quizzes at the end of each chapter to evaluate the understanding. Same goes for CR, where earlier understanding the question itself was challenging, now I have achieved both accuracy and speed in CR. And about the elephant in the room, Reading Comprehension. Frankly, I still struggle with this but with ample number of question bank as well as opinions and tricks from a plethora of people who have cracked GMAT, this section is also showing improvement. I am hoping by the time I write my exam by the end of this month, my accuracy would increase from the current 50% to nearly 70 - 80%.

This truly has been possible because of the study material available on eGMAT along with members who are truly the strength of this forum. Cheers!

Excellent tool to improve your GMAT score

I initially enrolled to a famous GMAT prep company to get personalized coaching for my GMAT preparation. I learnt lot of tricks and shortcuts there, only to realize how those tricks affected my scores when I took mock tests. My scores dropped by 70 points. I learnt my mistakes though I had to burn a hole in my pocket. Later I enrolled to the e-GMAT trail version and was highly satisfied with all their tutorial videos and then immediately enrolled to their course (both Quant and Verbal). Their study plan helped me structure my preparation. I loved the way they emphasized on understanding and analyzing each question stem accurately and then solving them by following step by step procedures while keeping in mind of the underlying logic behind the question. This structured approach made it easy for me to tackle problems effectively. Also, every practice question comes with clear solution and you can get expert's advice in case you still have any doubts in the steps followed. This feature is very helpful since you also get to see queries of others who have doubts in the problem. Thereby understanding a problem from every perspective. One of the key feature of e-GMAT is their Scholaranium, which has more than 1700 questions in both Quant and Verbal. This tool helps you identify your weaknesses and give a detailed analysis of your score right from testing your true ability in solving easy, medium and hard questions to takt time taken to solve questions from each section (RC, CR, SC, Alg, Geometry etc). Overall, e-GMAT is the best option if you are looking to ace the exam with a thorough understanding of every concept tested in the actual exam . Kudos to the entire team!

Great for improving your verbal

I have tried a couple GMAT prep companies, but e-gmat was by far the best for verbal preparation. SC was my weakest point during the practice tests. Although I have not taken the test yet, I feel a lot more confident for my verbal score after using the e-gmat.
E-gmat uses structured approach to the SC and breaks down the sentences into smaller chunks for easier understanding and finding the mistakes. I really like this approach, especially because I am not a native speaker and the meaning of the sentences are not always easy to understand. In addition, e-gmat teaches you how to break down the sentence from all possible mistakes standpoint, which is leaves little room for error. Also, each concept is tested after a thorough revision file and then tested more in the quizzes, application files and practice tests from the official book. E-gmat relies heavily on the official questions and pretty much the whole book ( official GMAT preparation and verbal review) is worked through in the e-gmat course.
I would highly recommend the e-gmat course for their verbal preparation, it really made me more confident in my verbal part of the GMAT.

The studying process can be pretty overwhelming, especially because there is too much information and opinions out there. It is very difficult to start a study plan, you will first do a little research, then skim some online course reviews and compare some common study strategies, but finally you will give a leap of faith based on what you?ve read. It will common to ask yourself if that was the correct study plan, but the best course of action is to hold on to that decision and go through it, later it will morph organically into a tailored plan.
I started out reading in a lot of forums, asking question to some friends that have been in this same process and gathered the main inputs of information that I thought would be necessary to have a complete overview of the material. This was exhausting, while reading and extracting the different pieces of information, I tried to make a complete summary of Quants and Verbal with the material collected, including Manhattans ebooks, some friends? summaries, pdfs I found on internet and my own annotations. The most troublesome point was that in order to don?t miss a thing I read and over read same information in different parts, not one had a everything I needed to know. I don?t remember it precisely, but I think I spent over 2 months in recollecting, learning and summarizing information.
After having my own booklet of material, I needed to start exercising. The Manhattan exercises where great for this, loads of good quality questions and explanations, but I felt I was missing some technology that could boost my learning. At this point I realized I needed an online course, one that gave me some insights about my weaknesses and where I was overspending time. A friend of mine recommended me e-gmat so I bought the Verbal and Quant Online course. This platform is excellent, I realized it had all the material needed to study and great exercises that made you internalize easier the concepts. So? a lot of time unwell spent at the beginning. Fortunately, thanks to my previous study, I could go rapid through the concepts and focus on the exercises. Scholaranium, the question bank of e-gmat, had several tests about each topic and you can easily see your progress. Also, it enables you to make customized tests where you can mix those weak areas into one test.
Time is essential while studying, and e-gmat helps to reduce the time needed, guides you into deep learning the concepts, provides quality questions and answers, and helps you get a structured study plan.

Best Verbal Course for GMAT

When I was about to start my GMAT preparation, I found many good reviews of e-GMAT Verbal course on GMAT Club & Beat the GMAT. I registered for free trial and found the Verbal online course very effective. I immediately purchased it. Now, I have completed almost 80% of the course and will be giving my first attempt in a month.

The course starts with teaching the basics of each topic with examples and then slowly increase the level to GMAT. It is very structured and the concepts are well explained in details with examples followed by application files and quizzes which helps in outlining the conceptual mistakes and solidify the conceptual knowledge. Apart from that, the forum queries clears 80% of the doubts. The course mainly focuses on understanding the meaning of the sentence and applying their 3-step process. If one follows their approach/method of solving questions in right manner, which comes by practice, there is very less probability that one gets the question wrong. Overall, I liked the course very much and would highly recommend all the serious GMAT aspirants to go for the same. This is the best course for non-native speakers who are genuinely studying for GMAT.

Mock Q42 to Q49

September 21, 2018

I started studying for the GMAT on 2017, with the ambition of joining a TOP B-School MBA Program in 2019. I started scoring Q39 in the first two mock tests. I figured this would not be enough and tried with other prep books. Books felt too non-personal and I was not scoring higher than Q42 (tried official test, GC test, prep test) and after a while I felt discouraged because of the lack of focus I was giving to improve my weak areas.

After two months of interrupted studying I had to stop because I switched job to a higher position in another company in another industry. For eight months I focused only on the job. After that, I said "ok, it's time to finish this" and started to study for the GMAT again.

Here is where e-Gmat Quant Live comes in.

I had less time - corporate trainings, business trips - and needed to laser focus on making the most with my time. Studying without guidance was just too hard. I needed some sort of help to visualize where I was and what where my areas to improve.
Looking for reviews online I found e-Gmat's Quant Live prep and participated in the free trial and webinars and got stoked.

These are the perks to me of this course:
- Scholaranium. I was able to start from the beginning in my weak areas. Great tool to visualize your weak areas and to work on them, with a lot f questions - and some very challenging! It really blends well with the concept and application files, and the live sessions.

- The methodology. I really liked the audiovisual concepts, and the constant feedback each concept and application file provides - you won't spend more than 25 minutes learning before you are tested.

-Live sessions. Crucial and provide really really good insights on how to tackle certain problems (inequalities, geometry and probability my weakest points). They really add up to the concept files. Don't skip, stay focused, key is in the details. There are lot of details provided in here.

-Within the live sessions there is the Quant Workshop which in my opinion is Key to organize the final part of your quant skills development because it accurately asseses your level and you can share your results with the e-Gmat's team, which returns with personalized recommendations on how to maximize your time spent studying in your best improvement areas by reviewing concept files and scholaranium.

-Feedback (both in the Q&A sections within quizes and in the email responses) is fast and, almost every time, hits right on the spot at the first time. Yes, you will always receive a prompt answer.

Two months later I am scoring now Q48-50, average 49 and I am taking the GMAT in 6 weeks. With the program I am following, I feel bullet-proof to score Q48+, which is in line with my goals - score 700+ overall.

I really feel I have been able to spend my study time in a smarter, more efficient way.

I definitely recommend e-Gmat's Quant Live course if you want to score high in Quant!

Egmat Quant Online course is very comprehensive and detailed and systematic course. It is a great tool that allows me to study on my own schedule. I really like its score estimate and a completion tracker. which helps me to focus/work more on my weak areas. The concept videos helped me understand the basics well and helped me get a strong foundation and also I got confident in solving data sufficiency questions. There are quizzes which test the application of the concepts studied in each topic which give a lot of confidence.

The Platform is very easy to navigate and very straightforward, as it builds up in the concepts that you are learning. Egmat has been able to bring a very high level of simplicity to the learning and application of the concepts. Egmat believes in building the foundation & filling the conceptual gap of yours for any topic.

There are various Strengths of the Egmat Course like well-structured material from a learning perspective (easy to hard), a very strong approach (and emphasis on the approach) to solve GMAT questions,e-GMAT forum, questions section on each practice question

The approach for solving every single section helped me a lot and drastically reduced my time taken for such questions, I could answer even the hardest questions in very less time with much confidence. Advanced topics such as probability, permutations & combinations are well explained through concept videos. Scholaranium is very helpful in assessing our ability in each section and helps us identify, focus & improve our performance in the areas we are weak.???I am planning to take GMAT in a month and I highly recommend it to everyone that Egmat quant's structured approach is going to help you increase your score.

Also, I would like to offer my Special thanks for the support team for considering my requests whenever I needed. What really differentiates them is their customer service. Their response time for emails is really appreciable

In a nutshell, Quant Online is best for GMAT Quant. Highly Recommended.

Most Comprehensive course for GMAT Verbal

I gave my GMAT Exam last year in November and scored only 530. (Verbal -20 and Quant -43). I was very disappointed with my verbal score bcoz I was scoring 30-35 in my mocks. But I was not consistent either. Sometimes I used to get around 22-23 and sometimes 34-35 in verbal. After reading reviews on beat the GMAT and GMAT club, I decided to get subscription of E-GMAT verbal course. Today I know importance of analysing or understanding the meaning of the question before jumping to see splits in sentence correction questions. My accuracy in S.C has improved from 40-50 percent to 80-85 percent and still I have one month left before exam. Same goes with critical reasoning questions. Pre-thinking works like magic in solving C.R questions. I have my exam scheduled next month. Hopefully I will do well.

Then I researched online and found egmat course is one of the best one for non native speakers. I purchased the egmat course to prepare well for my second attempt.

I am halfway through the course and will be giving my exam in a months time. The egmat course starts from the basics and slowly increases the content level to GMAT's. I like the course a lot both content and structure wise. For every topic the course structure is as follows: pre-assessment, concepts and post-assessment. The concepts are well explain with lots of examples.

I would love to give a review for egmat course again once my exam is over. That is because I can back up my claim about the course with my GMAT score.

Now I feel 100% confident

I had been studying for the Gmat for approximately a year before i first went for the test in mid-September 2017, and still, my grade on that first attempt was a completely disaster. I got a 510!! Serious, i was so ashamed that I didn?t even cared what the details of my grade was, such as exactly score for Quant and Verbal. I just wanted to leave the test center as fast as possible and turn the page, forget about all that because that really hurt. I thought my dream of entering a business school had failed for good.
After a few days recovering from that day, I started to put myself together and thinking that I couldn't just give up on my dream like that. I felt I still had some strengths left to start over, but this time I would go with everything I got. I wanted to do things differently and more effective. I needed a plan. I realized, after reading a few reviews like this one, that I had missed some principles on how to tackle each question, and if I had a simple way to approach each question, it would be only a matter of getting used to those methodical ways of solving the questions. Finally, I decided I couldn't develop those methods all by myself, I needed professional help.
Among all options of course available out there, the E-Gmat stood out because all reviews I read about it mentioned exactly what I had in mind that I missed the first time. A methodical approach to questions. Another point to mentioned I found really important when reading the reviews is that most of them mentioned e-gmat to be the best for non native English speakers, and verbal was my far worse subject.
Luckily, I wasn't disappointed with the course. Very easy to understand and follow, and yet, some really challenging questions for you to improve your core skills. Sometimes I felt that I wasn't improving at all, and definitely that wasn't for me, but without even realizing it, I started to answer all verbal questions right, easily, without putting much effort. It all became somehow all natural. And the same happened to the Quant section as well.
Well, I'm still going to retake my gmat exam, and surely I want to come back to report even better how it went. But one thing is for sure, now I'm going for the test a lot more confident than before. It's an indescribable feeling when I start studying and before any question I confront I think to myslef " this is no match for me".
My exam date is on October 19th, 2018, and I feel so confident that I really want this day to come fast. I'm very excited with the idea of getting this "biggest challenge of my life so far" out of the way to my dream.

eGMAT Quant Online - Score high with limited effort

eGMAT Quant Online course is tailor-made for working professionals who have time constraints to prepare for GMAT. I scored a Q36 in my first attempt. While searching for GMAT courses, I came to know about eGMAT. I was impressed after attending eGMAT's free sessions, reading its free resources and reading reviews about its courses. Then, I purchased the
course. After completing the course, I scored a Q49 on my next attempt.

The Quant Online course covers all the topics, which are tested in GMAT, extensively, and it is easy to understand even if we forgot our math basics. After every lesson, the application quizzes will guide us on how to approach each problem type systematically. The questions from practice quizzes, which follows application quiz, are carefully designed to test our skill level in each topic. Immediately after completing each subsections, you will be required to solve official questions for the corresponding sub section; this gives us a better understanding on how to apply the learning on official questions. The Quant Scholaranium consists of huge number of questions in each section. After completing each section, we must take the ability quiz from Scholaranium and make sure to get at least 50% if not 70% before moving on to next section. Scholaranium questions are very tough; if you score 50% or more in the ability quizzes of all sections, your actual GMAT Quant score will be at least 49 if not 51. My ability scores were around 40%.

Good Luck!!

The course follows a structured and meaning based approach which really helps to crack questions at ease.

Mastered Compression really helps to tackle even the most difficult of RC passage. On the top of it the structured approach taught to solve different question types really helps.

The concept of Pre-thinking used in CR truly unique and effective. If one follows the process as taught my experts, then finding the correct the correct answers is never a struggle

When I started SC, it was my weakest section. The meaning based approach really helped me to improve my ability. It goes beyond the different rules that we usually come across
