Must have for SC section

I would like to recommend the e-Gmat course to as a must have for your SC section preparation.

I get an improvement from V25 to V35 with the e-gmat verbal online. My improvement is mainly due to the SC section. The SC course is a must have for a non-native. The course presents all the gramar rules you should know in a very intuitive way.

Only 15 days were enough to see a considerable improvement in my skills.

The RC and CR are also good but don't expect a good improvement if you already learn the methodology from other companies. Try and you will enjoy it!

Excellent course for GMAT Verbal

December 16, 2015
  • Teacher: Payal Tandon

  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 610 After: N/A

I have started preparing for the GMAT sometime around Nov 2014. At the beginning, I only used the GMAT Official Guide and some other resources (Manhattan GMAT, PowerScore) for my study. Having scored only 610 (Q:44 and V: 31) on my first GMAT test, I was devastated. I realised that in order to improve my score I had to concentrate my effort on the Verbal section.

Through my research at various online forums (Beatthegmat, Gmatclub), I found very positive reviews of eGMAT and decided to give this a try. It was probably one of the best investments I have made so far.

I bought the Verbal Online course which included separate study sections for CR, SC and RC. Having tried a number of other GMAT study resources, I have to say the Verbal Online is the most comprehensive GMAT prep for Verbal in the market. It is even more useful for non-native English speakers like myself.

All the study sections are very well structured. You will learn simple concepts first, followed by practice questions at the end of every module to reinforce your learning. Advance concepts are introduced later on and you can also practice the concept with actual Official questions. This method is very useful to build your knowledge and improve your performance gradually.

The best thing about this course is that it teaches you a consistent and reliable process to tackle SC and CR questions. For example, eGMAT teaches you to focus on the correct meaning of a SC problem and understand the sentence structure before reviewing the answer choices. Regarding CR, you need to understand the assumptions and pre-think the answers for each question. Once you have mastered these techniques, a lot of the tough GMAT questions will be more straightforward.

Since taking the course, I have improved my accuracy rate on in both noticed a significant improvement in my performance in both SC and CR. My accuracy rate is now around 75-80% for CR questions.

I totally recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their GMAT performance.

Best verbal online course

I'm a non-native English speaker. I got to know about e-gmat from my friend. I first registered for free session and later bought the complete course. Their audio visual style of teaching attracted me the most. Unlike reading books, this way of learning is very affective for registering things in our minds. In SC, the step by step approach and POE techniques helped me in choosing the correct answers in no time. The process of pre -thinking and negation test for identifying assumptions are the best ways for cracking the questions in CR. And finally, Scholaranium is the best platform for practicing various level questions. This is the best verbal online course till date.

This course has been cleverly designed to aid the non native speakers in their preparation of a hard international exam like Gmat. This course unlike the other courses for native speakers emphasizes on the meaning , rather than just plan grammatical rules. I recommend this course to anyone who is serious about scoring extremely high on the Gmat.

Hi I have tried this course E-GMAT, unfortunately I got to know about it really late during my first attempt in 2013. So couldnt capitalize. This time have thoroughly gone thru it and preparing to give GMAT in Jan 2016.
It actually converts academic grammatical knowledge into professional logical approach. Same grammar and sentence correction etc. is available in academic books such as Wren & Martin etc. but this course teaches real application of same as required for GMAT.
CR & RC courses are amazing especially the pre-thinking suggested in this course made the difference.
I would highly recommend this course.
Cheers.....

I am an aircraft engineer working in india and a eager MBA aspirants. I started my preparation with MGMAT verbal courses & managed to brush the basic concepts. However I thought a audio/visual approach of teaching would be better for me. After searching diligently on various gmat forums , i found e-gmat. Attended their free sessions and was immediately convinced of its pro's. E-gmat has more comprehensive verbal material than MGMAT. Their framework of answering RC & CR questions is better than MGMAT especially pre thinking in CR questions. Concept files and practice files are carefully designed. Meaning approach in SC just makes it look so easy. Their audio/visual method is quite innovative and helped me tide over my initial fear of verbal. As for the live verbal sessions, its definitely big advantage with e-gmat. These sessions help you fine tune all that you learned through out e-gmat material. Instructors ability of managing such a large number of students is commendable & they make it sure that any queries that you have is addressed in best possible way. I can see a lot of difference in my verbal ability and would recommend this course to everyone. I have another two months for my gmat exam & feel that with e-gmat i can achieve my dream of 700+ score.

I am an aircraft engineer working in india. I have been out of touch with quant for almost 10 years now. Needed a course that would allow me to overcome the math phobia i had developed over the years staying away from math. After searching on gmatclub forums and other online resources, i found e-gmat. Attended one of their free sessions on number properties and immediately purchased the quant live prep pack. Must say,it was one of the best decisions i took with regard to my gmat prep. Design , structure & curriculum of the course covers the every aspect of the gmat quant. In e-gmat live session, instructors manage to approach solutions to the problems in best possible manner & have great patience in a clearing queries of students. Apart from basic concepts which have been addressed in best possible way , what make e-mat stand out from other courses such as MGMAT is the selection of the gmat like examples that helps to fine tune the concepts. I will appear for the gmat in feb,2016 & I already see a lot of improvement in myself. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants systematic & methodical approach to their gmat prep.

While searching for the Verbal course online, EGmat was the sought after course and when i joined it I got the reason for the same. Great material and some very cool techniques. As with the non-natives the conceptual base has to be built in order to crack the GMAT and that's what EGMAT does.
Well organised, easy to use and prompt responses to the raised queries makes it the most student friendly course.
Keep it up!

I am working in a managerial post and required the preparatory course that provides me with flexibility in timings and availability. Thus, online course was the most preferable option and got lucky with EGmat. I have been amazed with the simplicity of the software and gradual growth in the difficulty level of the course to make sure that the student builds a strong base.
The material provided by the EGmat was excellent. They had very good conceptual classes with focus not only on course but on the different approaches that can be used for better results.
Wish them Luck!!

I am an IITian but after working on repetitive tasks for about 12 years made my sharp brain a bit slow and when I gave some mocks back in 2013 I was very disheartened with my results, That kind of affected my confidence as not only I was not able to go beyond 30-34 in verbal but also couldn't manage 50 in quant and that time I thought I needed a serious plan and material to practice with after analysing my techniques I figured out that my concepts and their application was not spot on and because of that I was wasting a lot of time too. Then through gmat club and online reviews I found e-gmat. Although I could not study for another 2 years because of work and personal stuff but now I am back on track to sit for GMAT and I am lot more confident in quant as well as in verabal. This is by far be the best online course I have ever seen and any hard copy or soft copy material. I would recommend e-gmat to anyone without thinking twice, money well spent. I have never thought concepts would look that easy to me.

I have been an e-GMAT verbal live prep student. I am a nonnative and have not been good at verbal skills.
I really had a tough time tackling SC & RC questions. One of my friend suggested me e-GMAT course and I must tell you, solving SC and CR questions in the egmat taught style is the way to crack it.
E-GMAT SC course is really amazing. After i completed the course, right away i was able to get 7-8 on 10 questions correct. SC and CR course taught me that GMAT exam is all about ability, really important leasson for Gmat exam, and that is the emphasis during its courses.
The live sessions gives you the real boost and confidence that you are going the right way.
I guess, if you are facing issues in Verbal section, without doubt,go the e-GMAT way!

E GMAT - QUANT LIVE PREP

The egmat quant course is simply amazing. It forces you think in math terms and apply a specific process instead of learn by heart many algebraic formulas.
The videos explanation are easy to follow and allow you to retain more information and key concepts. Although the live sessions contain complex questions, they are extremely helpful because they clarify some of the most frequent doubts one person may have.
The exercises following the theory are designed to build a solid understanding of covered concepts and allow you to attempt more difficult Gmat questions as you proceed through the course.
Besides, the concepts are separated per topic and you can find related exercises easily (this is really helpful because it allows you to review concepts and practice more where needed).
In conclusion, I strongly recommend this course to anyone is serious about the exam and needs a correct and easy approach to solve quant questions.

EGMAT - VERBAL PREP REVIEW

The egmat verbal course is really helpful and easy to follow. This course is specifically designed for non- native English speakers and builds your concepts from the beginning. You do not only study some grammar rules but also learn a comprehensive approach to answer all Gmat questions.
Through this course you learn to understand what you have been told and not to just follow strict rules. In particular, the sentence correction course is awesome and I feel I improved a lot my English level since I joined the course some time ago.
The teachers are amazing and provide careful explanations during their live sessions that are a real advantage (in my opinion).
In conclusion, if English is not your mother tongue, this is the right course for you.

A must attend verbal course for Non-natives

December 6, 2015

Once I decided to give GMAT, I heard a range of facts and myths related to the preparation. One such myth was that the people, who are either avid readers or native speakers can only get a good score good in verbal section. The fact that I was neither of the two, scared me out of my wits and this thought was somewhere stuck in my head. Even though I tried to learn theory and practiced questions, I was unable to identify the cause of my mistakes. To add to my woes was my inability to sustain my concentration till the end of verbal section. These shortcomings were reflected in my first attempt of GMAT, where I had scored 32 in verbal.

After taking a break of a month, I decided to begin with my prep again. It was during this time one of friends told me about eGMAT verbal course. I attended the free sessions and was impressed with the way the concepts were taught. The sessions were great eye openers, and pretty easy to understand. This prompted me to enroll for eGMAT verbal course.

The course is very well-structured, and helps in better understanding of all the concepts, including the tough ones such as modifiers. I realized the importance of understanding the meaning of question and the need of pre-thinking the argument. Scholaranium section is an added bonus. The timed practice of scholaranium questions gets once face to face with their strengths and weaknesses. In-fact, this section helped me evaluate and rectify my mistakes.

The eGMAT Verbal course made me feel more confident and removed the apprehensions related to verbal section. Again a big thanks to eGMAT team for their wonderful course. I would like to strongly recommend this course to every non-native speaker for the verbal prep.

what I like about this course is that it goes from basics to advanced levels , using step by step approach which makes the math section much easier to understand. Furthermore , during taking the concept file , you will be told about the most important things that you should keep in mind and the strategies that could be used by the testmaker in order to make the question harder. After every concept , there is an application with 5 questions with deep explanation that will enhance your understanding of the concept.

I'm non-native , and i learned English 2 years ago. when i started studying for GMAT , it was very hard specially for the verbal section. I decided to give up many times. However , i took e-gmat free course and then I did some of the concepts which were about sentence correction. What a difference !!!!!! . I felt that this is the course that i had been looking for. what i like about this course is that it teaches me from the basics to the advanced level (step by step approach ). Moreover , the approach used by e_gmat is breaking a complex sentence into clauses , making the meaning of sentence very clear in less time.I have made a huge improvement and i owe that to e-gmat.Also for Critical reasoning , the pre-thinking strategy which consists to find a potential answer to the question before going through the answer choices. this approach needs a lot of practice , but once you have mastered , it makes critical reasoning much easier.
All in all , I highly recommend this course , but if you are engaged with another company and you cannot switch since you already invest your money. There is an option that you can buy single course. use it !!! and go buy sentence correction course it is a MUST !

Though I have been good in my Quant section I wasn?t able to improve on the verbal section. While I was looking for some online course I came across E-gmat verbal course on Beat the Gmat and GMAT club and was impressed with reviews about this prep company. So I decided to give it a try and got registered for E-Gmat Verbal course. I am in mist of my preparation and there is already an improvement in my verbal score.
Each section of verbal has audio visual tutorial that is really helpful for some of the concepts. I personally used to face lot of difficulties in SC and it reflected on my score. The POE method approach really helped to tackle SC section. POE method trains you how to break complex sentences down to understand the meaning clearly and analyze the original sentence for error. Following the POE approach I was able get through the SC type question much quickly compared to earlier. If you are looking out for a great online course that is self explanatory and provides ample of practice questions, please opt for E-GMAT. It?s a real value for your money and time.
