The content is truly amazing, very thoroughly, and lots of questions to practice are provided. The course methodology was essential to help me to feel motivated, to push harder, and to study longer than I usually did before. Studying by myself I managed to elevate my Quant from 36 to 42, but couldn't go any further by myself. One month of TTP was enough to take me to the 48 Quant I needed. The course provided lots of meaningful analytics to show my weaknesses and strengths, so I could focus on the concepts and practice questions I needed the most. I believe the course is meant to last more than one month, but even though I had such a short time, my improvement was significant.

I used TTP to re-study, and found that it really forced me to understand all the concepts tested on the GMAT. While preparing for my first sitting, I did too many practice questions without understanding my mistakes. TTP is designed to make you slow down while learning, and then go into the exam better prepared. I found that I was faster without doing much timed practice because of the level of understanding I had developed. I recommend using TTP from the beginning of your studies. If, however, you are retaking, it will definitely serve you well.

I used TTP for about 4 months prior to my exam and I truly believe there is no more comprehensive study material out there for the GMAT. TTP focuses on implementation of concepts throughout the course. There is no shortage of practice tests, quizzes, that are intentionally delivered after every single chapter to solidify your understanding of each lesson. Even after you are finished with the course itself TTP has modules dedicated to taking official mock tests after the course. After I completed the course I scored between 47 and 50 on the quantitative sections of all 6 mock exams I took and my actual exam. Before signing up, I was skeptical that the content provided was worth the money, but TTP completely delivered. It was a great step by step guide on how to tackle the GMAT. It is a worthy investment if you are willing to put in the time to learn and practice the material. Scott, Jeff and the TTP team are also entirely devoted to making sure that their students succeed and were available to me whenever I needed their assistance. With the release of their material dedicated to Verbal Review, this is truly the one-stop shop for your GMAT preparation. I wholeheartedly believe that my GMAT score would not have been possible without TTP.

I stopped taking practice tests and used TTP exclusively for an intense month of quantitative review. After that month, I finally took two additional practice tests and received quant scores of 49 and 51 (for an overall score of 750 and 760 respectively).
I finally took the GMAT for real and received a quant score of 49 and verbal 42 (for an overall 740). I am very pleased with how much I was able to improve using TTP. It really brings your quant skills to where it needs to be to get stellar scores on the GMAT.

I found out about Target through the Forte program. I signed up for the free trial and was surprised when Scott, the founder, emailed me to set up time to talk. We had an extremely honest conversation where he suggested that I should extend my test date to be truly ready. What I appreciate more than anything is that he was the first person to fully acknowledge that this test was difficult and the anxiety I faced had a real impact on the outcomes.
For 4 months, I dedicated most of my free time to going through all the modules and taking copious notes. I really liked how detailed the explanations were and how many drills were there. This program enabled me to actually understand the math, rather than finding some kinds of tricks. I also liked that it was by far the most affordable option that I had tried and was on the computer - just like the real test is.
When I finally took the test, I feel like the clouds parted and I could figure out answers that had previously stumped me. I was elated when I got the 700.

TTP breaks up quant into digestible sections and gives you flexibility. Each chapter describes the concepts in detail with periodic examples. The short quizzes enable you to choose which level problems you want to test. For each quant subject, TTP helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses and maximize my study time since I could choose between reviewing the chapter material and jumping ahead to the quizzes.
After reaching my target score, Scott congratulated me and was genuinely interested in my next steps and school choices. I?d highly recommend TTP for anyone who wants a one-stop-shop for GMAT quant.
Vaulted me to a 770!

My study process was well-thought out, and I was extremely diligent in my preparation. I used the MGMAT strategy guides, GMAT Hacks Total Math, and a variety of GMATclub resources to prepare. Completed all the questions in the OG Guide 2017 and OG Quant Review 2017 twice. Took all 6 MGMAT CATs and all 6 Official CATs multiple times. Detailed error logs of everything. And I studied A LOT. My first official exam was in October, on which I scored a 700 with a 42 Quant (47th percentile). Disappointed, I continued to study and took another crack in November, which resulted in another 700. Improved my Quant score slightly to 44 (54th percentile), but Verbal fell a bit. Thought ok a little more improvement and I?ll be alright, and scheduled another test for December. The third time was a heartbreaker ? I choked and halfway through the Quant section I knew I was toast, and thought about just walking out with the test unfinished. Another 700 with a Quant score of 42; my performance had declined after hours and hours of studying. Given my non-elite undergrad and work experience, a 700 wasn?t going to cut it for the schools I would consider (especially with such a terrible Q/V split), and I didn?t end up applying for the 2017 intake.
After doing some series reflecting on my performance and spending a lot of time mapping out an improvement strategy, I knew I needed some kind of prep course. Made quite the spreadsheet with information on all the different prep course options, cut this list down, and demoed the finalists. Ended up choosing Target Test Prep out of all of them, which I thought at the time was somewhat of a leap of faith as it is not one of the major players i.e. MGMAT, Veritas, Magoosh, Kaplan or the like.
The Target Test Prep course had a nice progression, forcing you to really master the fundamentals before moving on to some of the more advanced topics you would only see at higher levels. The lessons were great, and I picked up some stuff I did not learn from my prior studies. Thought the video explanations were surprisingly helpful as well, and the dashboard feature made it easy to identify where your weaknesses are and save questions for additional review. However, I think the real key for me was the massive amount of practice questions you were instructed to complete after each lesson. First, I thought they were very, very similar to actual GMAT questions (definitely more so than MGMAT) which helped to a degree. But most of all, doing a ton of questions focused on one specific topic at a time helped to drill concepts into my head and pickup on dumb mistakes I made too frequently, for example misreading the question or making errors on simple arithmetic. I compare it to math homework in high school; you would learn a lesson and then do an excruciating amount of problems that night to really master it. While the comparison to high school math homework might make you think ?yeah umm that Target Test Prep course . . . absolutely not? all I can say is that TARGET TEST PREP FREAKIN DELIVERED! Took the GMAT for a fourth time in May, and stood up and fistpumped (as quietly as possible) when I saw 770 flash over the screen. After spending countless hours studying with little to show for it, the Target Test Prep course propelled me from a Q42 to a Q49 and a 770 overall score. For anyone needing help with Quant, this is your course.

390 to 730 with Target Test Prep!

In early March 2016, my Manhattan practice exam score was a 390. I couldn?t even finish the math portion it was so hard. This was after reviewing all of the Manhattan math/verbal material. A friend recommend Target Test Prep, and I decided to try it in at the beginning of April. This was the best decision I could have made. I took the GMAT on June 4 and scored a 730!!
Target Test Prep was the reason for my success. on the GMAT. It's incredibly effective because:
1) The material is so thorough. I loved that it went through all of the different types of questions. I broke down the material into small-sizeable chunks. It was easier to follow and understand.
2) It gives you notes sheets for each lesson, and these are the BEST way to stay organized and review the material. I created flashcards out of these notes for the areas I was weak on to review daily in my last month.
3) It's all about practice!! The ?quizzes? in Target Test Prep were amazing and the repetition of the questions really helped me finally understand how to answer those types of problems as they appeared.
4) The "Dedicated Study Plan," the Printable Calendar and the interface with the amount completed per lesson and the % correct per quiz was an easy way for me to stay organized, move forward and understand my strength/weaknesses.
5) Target Test Prep is much more affordable than most of the options available, while being more effective.
I?ve told everyone I know that?s studying or planning to study for the GMAT to use Target Test Prep over anything else! I can't recommend it enough.

I want to note that, while TTP helped me learn all of the math concepts I needed for the GMAT, the problems in the course are not official GMAT questions. It is absolutely critical for students to solve official questions from the Official Guide as they progress through the course. I didn?t realize this and took the GMAT after only using TTP to study and received a 660. For my second attempt, I utilized all of the knowledge I gained through TTP to solve almost every question in the OG, retook the exam, and came out with a 720. Do not underestimate the power of the OG!!
In conclusion, TTP (in conjunction with the OG) helped me master the quant section as a non-quant person. I recommend for anyone who?s curious about the course to try the 5-day trial and see how great it is for her/himself!

I dont write reviews but i love this course, They do have the best platform ever, best content and best methods. In my opinion they better than all the other famous guys.
My advise for the math part don't go anywhere else just do the free trail and you will love them.
The only shortcoming is that they dont have Verbal, But for math they are even better than private courses. They have test for each chapter and even the system analysis your performance allowing you to focus on your weakness.
Dont waste your time go with them

Simply put, there is no more efficient and effective way to prep for the GMAT than Target Test Prep's dedicated study program coupled with the official GMAT practice exams. I spent 3 weeks working through each of the 19 chapters in the TTP program, using chapter quizzes to identify which areas to focus on. I then spent my last 2 weeks taking TTP's custom tests focused exclusively on my weakest areas. Throughout the process, I received constant analysis of my strengths and weaknesses.
I would absolutely recommend Target Test Prep to anyone looking for significant GMAT Quant improvement in a short period of time.

The thing I loved most about Target was the way they break all of the Quant material into easily digestible Chapters, and then further into Topics within each Chapter. Coupled with an awesome analytics engine that visualizes your performance within each Chapter and Topic, you get a very clear idea of what your strengths & weaknesses are. Add on top of that a Study Plan that is tailored to your target score range, and you are golden!

This is the one for Quant! Q46 on practice test to Q51 on Test Day!

Fast forward to late February - after my 5th CAT (various providers) score of under 700, I was completely flabbergasted. "How can I be doing poorly on quant?" I had practiced generic macro strategies such as smart numbers and skipping questions, but I was still not completing the Quant section on time or I was forced to guess through the last few questions because I was getting stumped on so many tough questions.
I ended up looking through the beatthegmat website and saw this company in the Reviews section that I had never heard of. There was a promotion for a week-long free trial. I thought, "why not?" I took the diagnostic after choosing the "awesome score" target, and learned that I still had so many different weak points regarding the tougher quant material. More so, I saw detailed videos that explained what I was doing wrong in each of those questions. I knew right then and there that this was what I needed.
I ended up using the "short" study plan, and ripping through chapter tests to further discover what my weak points were. Target Test Prep's Dashboard is a phenomenal tool which tracks all the questions answered and identifies areas of weakness. Within each area, there is instruction material that details exactly the different types of questions that the GMAT would give you during the actual test, and various methods to defeat them. By honing my weak chapters and converting them into strengths, I saw the effects on my practice scores. After getting a 750 (Q49) on the GMAT Prep Test #2, I immediately signed up to take the real thing a week later.
That last week, I continued to take custom practice exams from Target Test Prep in the early morning and Official GMAT questions in the evening (I work full time). I took the real exam on March 19th, and it felt like I was that guy from Limitless in the Quant Section. I felt like I identified all the traps that the GMAT was dishing out, and with a combination of my practice and possibly some sheer luck, I was extremely happy to see my unofficial score of 760 with a Quant Score of Q51!
Yes, most of your progress on your GMAT score is your own hard work, but Target Test Prep is definitely what helped me bring up my Quant score to break the 700 barrier. Scott and Jeff run a great program and deserve every 5 star review on this site.

Separately, I wanted to write a quick note about Jeff Miller, who I worked with for a few hours of tutoring. Jeff was an excellent tutor, and the only one among a number of tutors I spoke with that I decided to hire. I hired Jeff in the hope that he could help me with my approach to specific problem types: inequalities, distance/rate, work/rate, and absolute values. On multiple occasions, I was able to tell Jeff something to the effect of, "that's exactly what I needed and exactly why I hired you." After the tutoring sessions, I was able to attack problems in under a minute that would previously have eaten up ~3 minutes of my time. On the official test, I ended up having 15 minutes to spare in the math section alone and started doing problems over and over again just to make sure I had the right answer. (Honestly, I can't figure out which problems in the math section I got wrong, but I suppose there were a few.)
Thanks again to the TTP team.

Target Test Prep offers practice, confidence, and results!
- Teacher: Jeff Miller

Target Test Prep is the most comprehensive quant course I've taken. Any material I was unfamiliar with, I was re-taught. Any section that I was performing poorly in was identified. Target Test Prep allowed for the most efficient use of my study time. Also, the interface is clean and compatible, which makes a huge difference when you absorb information (even though it may not seem as important). Jeff played a major hand in developing the site's curriculum- which was so apparent in our one-on-one time.
Jeff's tutoring style, commitment to my success, and advice allowed me to refocus my GMAT attention. I started studying the material that needed the most work and I stated practicing GMAT material smarter. Most importantly, Jeff worked with me on a mental level. I know he'll remember when he reads this, but in hindsight, I cannot believe how little confidence I used to have in myself. Jeff helped to change that. It's very easy to say to a person that they have the smarts to achieve something- but it's a hurdle to make them believe it. When any other educator would have dismissed my inner self-doubt as not their problem, Jeff's pep-talks and encouragement over nine months resulted in an about-face of my attitude. I owe a lot to Jeff for all he did for me, and I know he makes just as significant an impact on all his students.
I would recommend Target Test Prep to anyone about to embark on GMAT-prep for so many reasons. The staff, the material, the resources, and the dedication they give each student. My GMAT road isn't over just yet- but I know Target Test Prep will be there to help me get the score I need for the school I want. They're just as invested in my future as I am.

Their GMAT self study course was also the best that I have seen. I found their personalized teaching process and detailed solutions to be far superior to many other test prep courses that focus on guessing strategies. Their commitment to see me succeed helped me to develop more confidence in my test taking abilities and contributed to my improved performance. That fact that the GMAT practice questions were written by the instructors themselves really differentiated the learning process relative to other tutors I have worked with in the past. Not only were there almost 3,000 practice questions, but also the questions are designed to test concepts and not just limited to certain types of problems. On my GMAT test day I found myself able to extrapolate the concepts from my classes and apply them to test problems very easily. All in, not only do the instructors really understand the material but more importantly, they are fantastic teachers and I really wish I had learned about their services sooner!!
