I am using this course from almost a month and I can defintely tell you that it is the one of the best course availabe for native as well as non-native english speaker for improving the verbal score. In addition to this i found e-gmat Quant as much fasinating and helpful as verbal.
The course teaches you the Quant in such a methodical way, that gradually you will become good in all of the aspects.
The best thing i want to point out that at one place it explain you why you have selected the wrong answer choice but it also tell you why you haven't selected the correct answer choice.
I find it very fasinationg that how gradually you become good at Quant as well as verbal in short amount of time that you will not know.
Just follow the the methodical way the egmat teaches you and you will definitly reach the 700 score border.

And of course this course is value for money because after trying so many courses available online finally i recommendit it most.

Kudos to e-gmat !!

Simply the best

was preparing for GMAT for a year, but somehow still couldn't decide on the D day. I am a candidate who has not touched books for a decade and now simply decide to go for a career change. Monotonous you may call it. But then when I started, I felt that I am unable to concentrate. Come on it sometimes feels boring to mug up all the grammar rules. But then when I was about to write off somebody referred EGMAT verbal.

And boy its totally different from whats available in the market. You have the course material in form of interactive videos and a portal that's so user-friendly. I skimmed through sentence correction module first and trust me when I say it is a paradigm shift in the way we learn things. After every chapter, you have got ample practice questions to reinforce your learning.

Next, I touched upon RC. Now this section I feel is what makes or breaks your day. Forget about what the answer is, the first challenge is understanding the passage and that too when the clock is ticking. It's a weird tendency to jump into the questions with the half-baked understanding of the passage. The skill set that you need is speed reading and clear understanding of the passage. This is where the Egmat stresses upon. You got to read and understand the passage. There is no shortcut to that period.

The fun doesn't end here. Come to scholaranium and then the real practice begins. You can practice as per what suits you. GMAT is an exam of ability and this is what practicing in scholaranium helps you with. I would highly recommend it to anybody be it native or non-native English speaker for GMAT is not just about english but the logic going with it.

GMAT Verbal live prep : Much needed course for working Professionals

GMAT Verbal live prep is very systematic course and suitable for working professionals. I always felt that I might miss the classroom experience by taking just online course. But Live prep classes has helped me a lot to have classroom like environment. Best part of this course is that I learnt lot of concepts in these classes and clarified all my doubts with Experts. As working professional, Due to high pressure at work, I lost discipline in preparation . This live course came to my rescue. It helped me to be discipline in preparation and helped me to gain the lost momentum.
Course structure is very systematic .It guides students on what modules to cover first and what not to cover. There is application quiz and Practice quiz with detailed solutions after every module. This helps us to evaluate and understand gaps in our understanding. This is very much important in better understanding of each modules and helps in increasing the speed in covering these modules. . The video lessons are so animated that it helps me to remember the concepts so clearly.
Before taking this course, I was taking 10 min to read a passage with 50 -60% understanding. After taking this course, Master comprehension Module helped me to solve RC passages less than 6 min with 100% Accuracy. It was a magical and I am very confident I can solve any tough passages during GMAT exam.
The other strategy that helped me the most is PRE THINKING strategy. This strategy helped me so much in solving CR questions with 100% accuracy. Because of this strategy, the confusion or the mental friction that I used to get when analyzing the answer choices ,has completely gone. This saves lot of mental energy during the exam time.
Post going through this course, my accuracy rate and speed rate has improved by 90%. I am able to get 730+ easily in all Veritas Prep Mocks tests.

The best Go To course for a high verbal score (V40+)

June 27, 2018

I subscribed to VLP after having a dismal performance on the GMAT for the 3rd consecutive time. Although I have been an eGMAT client for over two years, I never really implemented the eGMAT processes and always answered questions based on shortcuts and gut feeling. Though I learnt the concepts well from VO, I still succumbed to pressure and anxiety at the time of the test.

Before I share my 2 cents on VLP, let me clarify a myth right here. VLP isn?t a classroom model (instructor-led) coaching to teach you the basics and redo the VO course, but with an instructor instead, VLP complements the VO by helping you to assume the role of both the test maker (Prethink) and test taker (POE). This is precisely why VLP is the best course available in the market.

Here are my brief opinions about the VLP course, in parts:

RC: I have heard enough of reading the passage slowly but never spent my time in knowing what is the optimal reading speed and time. VLP ? RC sessions helped me discover how to read a passage and answer RC questions with high accuracy. I have now improved my accuracy to over 80% from a meagre 50%, and I attribute it entirely to the master comprehension course and the VLP- RC sessions.

CR: I usually fare better at CR generally with 70% accuracy but the average time I spend on CR question was way over 2:30 mins. However, after diligently applying the approaches (Prethink and POE) taught in the live sessions, I am now able to see a good improvement in my accuracy while taking much lesser time to answer CR questions (< 2 mins)

SC: I used to score low in SC due to poor comprehension skills. The master comprehension course helped me a lot in SC as well. Now I can break down sentences into smaller chunks and assimilate the meaning and proceed with the POE. The instructors who conducted the live sessions helped me understand the different processes in solving the different error types and made the SC question-solving process a breeze. I have improved my accuracy by leaps and bounds but taking close to 2 mins, which I believe will come down naturally with good practice.

Having outlined my opinions about the course, I am hopeful that I will be able to apply the VLP processes in my next retake and achieve my target score.

Final Verdict: VLP course will make you think like a test-maker thereby resulting in improving your accuracy, and VLP should be your go-to course if you are targeting a good verbal score (V40+).

My journey from 650 to 720 !!!

June 27, 2018

I had given my GMAT in Jan 2017. Being an engineer, I was very comfortable with my quant section. But the real area of pain was verbal. I was pretty confident that I had good grammar skills, good deduction skills and was good at answering comprehension questions. But unfortunately, I had no idea what was in store for me in the test. I scored 650 (Q50, V28) in that attempt.
It was then I realized that I needed mentoring and my method of studying was completely wrong. I then subscribed for E-Gmat's Verbal Online course. The most helpful in Verbal was E-Gmat's SC course. It is very well organized and takes you through each concept and truly emphasizes on Meaning of the sentence, which I had never focused on before. I followed its step by step readings and at the end, I had come a long way from where I had started.
The CR and RC videos were of great help too. The CR videos help you to refute at least 2 of the 5 options just on reading them.
And the last and the best component was the scholaranium. The vast array of diverse questions help you perfect all learnt in the videos. The other feature that I liked was that you can customize your tests in the scholaranium based on topics and difficulty levels.
On the exam day on my next attempt, I felt confident that I could get a good score and I did. I scored a 720 (Q50, V37).
I am grateful to e-Gmat and would like to thank them for my success.

BEST IN THE MARKET FOR both QUANT and VERBAL

Sometimes its not only the study resources, but also the coaching and mentoring that makes all the difference. Joining e-Gmat gave me that morale boost and a defined action plan to work on. Course structure is very well planned out. e-Gmat simply is the most extensive, well designed and comprehensive prep course in the GMAT test preparation industry. For me, having English as a second language was a bit of worry, but with the e-Gmat course structure, I understood the key concepts needed to take the GMAT without any inhibitions.

For the Quants part, they concentrate on the Concepts more than the shortcuts which I liked a lot. This approach gives you a confidence while taking tests that you can solve any problem. Work on Accuracy... Speed will automatically improve. This is e-Gmat's approach. It worked very well for me. I took their Quants course seriously followed all the concepts explained by them and got Q50 on the main GMAT... I did not follow any other material for Quants. This time, I am going to take the GMAT just to improve my verbal Score. I should have followed their verbal concepts before taking the first attempt itself. Now that I have almost completed their verbal concepts, I am feeling confident about my Verbal prep and hope to score good . Their Sentence Correction is specially designed for Non-Native English speakers. I bet nobody can match the quality of their Sentence Correction course.

The approaches to be taken to solve Critical Reasoning Questions were cleary categorized and explained with examples. The pre-thinking approach was the best thing I came across for CR strategies. Their Scholaranium is extensive. If you cover all the questions in Scholaranium and OG, you should be all SET.

E-Gmat Quant rocks

June 26, 2018

Hi All,

I started thinking about preparing for GMAT in Mid 2017. Initially I
used Manhattan books and Gmat club Maths book to prepare for Quant and
verbal. My exam was scheduled in the month of December. After
preparing from them, I gave my first mock from GMAT prep (free ones)
and got 38 in quant and 22 in Verbal. I was disheartened and postponed
my exam to July.
I was able to grasp all the concepts outlined in them but whenever I
try to do questions from OG guides, every other question uses a
different approach which is way different from the simple concept of
the books. I think I had an issue with application of concepts. Then I
checked reviews of all the courses on GMAT club and bought e-Gmat
course for both Quant and verbal.

January to April was quite busy due to work in the office and I was
able to complete only CR, RC and SC part from E-gmat. And I have seen
an improvement in them. Then, I started to work on dreaded Quant
portion again. Reviews of verbal part are not unfounded. Verbal course
is really good and helped me to improve in verbal score immensely.
The quant course is well structured into sections, the videos lessons
are broken into small concepts with short videos so that you don?t get
bored or tired. The application quizzes guide you well on how to
approach respective question types. They have section wise quizzes
from OG also, so you can keep track of your performance in OG
questions. The live sessions are very good for further clarity on the
process to follow for each type of questions. You can ask doubts in
live sessions as well as in the forums on e-GMAT. The scholaranium is
a very good tool to work on your weaknesses and keep track of your
performances. The scholaranium keeps track of errors and you can put
your notes about each question while doing review.
I am done with Quant and verbal concepts and now practicing with
Scholaranium and Gmat club tests. My exam is on July 10th. Wish me
luck!!!

Thanks and regards.

e-GMAT verbal online prep : A must for Non-Native English speaker

I started my GMAT preparation late last year (end of 2017) and my first step towards my preparation was the e-gmat verbal online prep. For non-native speakers , I feel this course is a must to build their fundamentals. The e-gmat verbal online course is quite concise , intensive, and uncomplicated . It gives a deep insight about the concepts that are tested in the GMAT verbal section. The application and practice quizzes give a excellent platform to work on and build the core skills necessary for the GMAT verbal preparation. e-GMAT focuses on simple strategies and steps to approach each question type. Especially the PRE-thinking strategy and meaning first approach, which is highly focused and taught in this course, has helped me cut short my solving time considerably. These strategies are very crucial when solving hard questions.

Scholaranium is a great way to assess your strengths and weaknesses . It presents with plethora of examples on various topics grouped from easy question to hard questions. One can create custom quizzes and get complete evaluation of their skills on the different topics of the Verbal section. The evaluation of the topics using the statistics gives you a chance to understand your progress and work on it continuously. I think practice Scholaranium is the best tool currently available out there to assess one's own ability moving forward with the GMAT verbal preparation.

For a Non-native speaker like me, who had an accuracy of about 40% in the Verbal section this course has helped me greatly to build my fundamentals and reach an accuracy of about 80%.
I am thankful to E-GMAT for playing an important role in my GMAT preparation. I would recommend E-GMAT course to all those non-native speakers to whom verbal section is a barrier to achieve high score in the GMAT.

The interface of the e-gmat course is very user friendly and easily accessible on the go. Their customer service is excellent. They are very responsive in helping any type of queries.

I purchased the gmat online course somewhere in Dec and i was pretty amazed by the alignment of the course . I needed to prepare for quant in a very structured manner so i don't lose focus and track . Before starting the course i used to score between 36-40 in a consistent manner. The course really helped me brush all of my basics in a very easy and defined manner. The Scholaranium was a treat , it provided me the best of the questions which were a little above the standard of the real gmat exam . This not only helped me give confidence to solve tougher questions in a stipulated time , but also helped me keep an interest to solve more complicated and logical questions.

Overall I liked the structure of the whole course and the variety of diverse questions in the scholaranium .
Great job e-gmat team for provided the best of the material in one place .

Hi All,

I have purchased the E-Gmat's Verbal and Quant Online courses.
I must say that the concept, application and tests provided for all the nuances of English Grammar have been covered very well. The concepts of Sentence Correction have been taught very well. For a non-native English Speaker, this is the best course.
The 'Pre-thinking' strategy for CR has been of great help to me. It does actually save a lot of time. I am practicing its pedagogy and improvising everyday.
As far as the Quant aspect is concerned, the lessons are quite good and the tests actually measure your Basic Quant skills to start with.
'The Verbal Scholaranium' tool is simply excellent! You can create your own set of questions as per your feasibility. You can track your progress very precisely and work accordingly.

All in all, this is a good course to purchase when it comes to preparing for GMAT!

Good Luck :)

I started my journey by knowing that I got 490 in GMAT. At that time, I felt shocked as I used to think that I was not bad at English!!!
I spent more than 2-3 months reading everything by myself and found out that my verbal score didn't improve that much. The average verbal score was still 17-19 constantly. Hence, I decided to work differently by using e-GMAT. I spend another 3 months on it. As of now, I got avg 30 in verbal. Though, I haven't not reach my target score yet, I'm so proud that at least I've come so far from the beginning. I know it takes time to get my target score, but I'm sure that e-GMAT can bring me there.
Let's wait and see how far I can go in the next 3 months!

Properly Drafted Verbal Course-One stop for Verbal!

Hi all,
My preparation started in 2016 and is still going on in installments because of my personal and professional commitments. In 2016, I had joined a very famous institute on weekends but it didn't work out. After that I tried doing by myself but still unsatisfied with my verbal score and couldn't locate where did I go wrong. Faculty of that institute was also unable to help me out as one can't figure out a common way out for every student. Then, I started scrolling down for the reviews of non native speaker. After analyzing all the points, I decided to go for e-gmat verbal course. I was slow in starting but my interest in following this course increased day by day. Then step by step as per plan I completed almost whole verbal course and now I am more confident in doing verbal questions. Atleast , now I know how to start with the question without wasting my time. I am impressed with the way of directing students about the approach of questions of every type separately- SC/CR specifically. A bulk of questions (of all sub category of SC/CR/RC with the level of questions-500/600/700) are provided in Schloranium for practice as just knowing whole process without practice will not solve the problem.
Good Luck!

I started my preparation few months ago with Manhattan SC for verbal. Even though the book is good, I couldn't get hold of the subject and I felt that the explanation given in the book is above my level. A friend of mine suggested me to look into e-GMAT verbal course as he knows that I am a bit weak in verbal. I opted for VLP program instead of Verbal online as i felt that chance to be in a class room kinda environment makes me more focused. The interaction in the sessions and platform is really great. Out of the content given in course SC is the best. It actually makes you understand from basics and the reason behind the selection of answer choices with POE. My RC improved a lot and I am yet to go through the CR content for which i asked for an extension of my Verbal Live Prep course to eGMAT team. They agreed readily and saved be at least 100 bucks. Thanks to you guys. I would definitely suggest this course for anyone who is looking for solid verbal score and a must for non-native speakers.

journey to confidence in Verbal

Hi, Friends

My name is Dauren and I am not native English speaker. When I first registered to GMAT, I did not realize how hard it would be for me to deal with verbal part. I always strudel with English, however I thought that my math skill would do most of work. In reality, I struggled with verbal to much and despite high result in quant I dot only 550.
After GMAT I realized that I had done something wrong. However, I did not know how to solve my problems with verbal part. I took classes with personal teacher, however she did not help me. At one on the prep days, I participated in free webinar by E-GMAT. After the webinar, I took free lesson and decided to take E-GMAT course. I bought all quant and verbal.
What I really like in E-GMAT that its system, it not only explain step by step all gramma and logic but also test your progress. You do not need a personal teacher, the planform will do all the job.
Second, I like the explanation that goes thought all the logic and meaning.
Finally, I took some live classes to get more confidence in methodology and my own progress.

I haven't took my next GMAT, but I am really confidence that now I really have change to bet the GMAT.

I took GMAT on 1st JAN 2018 and scored 700.What was most satisfying in the score report was verbal score of 37. I understand that V37 is not a great score, however improving from V17 (in my first mock test) to V37 is a refreshing change. After initially failing to increase my verbal score despite referring to multiple resources, i turned to E-GMAT verbal online course and that decision made a big difference .

Their course content is comprehensive and detailed. The best part about the course was their CR course which encourages people to pre-think. Initially you might feel that pre-thinking is time-consuming, however with pratice you can solve the CR questions under 1 minute.Pre-thinking in CR will definitely help to increase the accuracy and speed . SC section covers all the basics you need to know to conquer GMAT SC. scholaranium is a good collection of most up-to-date GMAT question with detailed explanations
Overall, I really recommend GMAT verbal course to anyone who is struggling with GMAT Verbal

I was recommended the course by a friend post a debacle attempt (V32 Q49).

The videos are extremely helpful : 1. The videos help understand the concept in terms of what we are trying to achieve as we look at every question 2. Prethinking required 3. How we eliminate all the incorrect options.

The RC videos are the most helpful as they go beyond what the books can teach. I tried Manhattan and Kaplan for my first attempt but this course helps internalise all the concepts. As you practise different questions in the scholaranium (question bank with tonnes of good questions), they become inherent in your application.

Thumbs up to e-GMAT.

Then, my friend introduced me to e-GMAT and I cannot thank her enough for having done that. After a year long break, I felt the need to go over SC and CR concepts as well and the videos provided by e-GMAT made them a whole lot of fun. I would stay up till late night, watching the videos, almost like I'd be watching a sitcom. They were light and helped me brush up my concepts very well. I had read someone's review about making handwritten notes while watching videos and then transferring those onto Evernote at the end of each day as that would not only help you revise, but also create a handy notebook for you to skim through while you're on the move. The live sessions imparted by the e-gmat instructors provide key insights into the strategies to use in the exam. All in all, egmat is a package and guarantees a score improvement.

E-GMAT VERBAL - brilliant verbal course for non-native speakers

June 8, 2018
  • Teacher:
  • Recommended forVerbal: Yes  Math: No
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 660 After: N/A

I took my first GMAT in March 2016 and scored a 660 (Q49, V31). Since I am a non-native speaker, verbal was/is my weakest point. However, I had some changes in my career, so until the end of 2017 I did not start a new GMAT preparation. When I started considering taking the GMAT again, I decided to devise a good preparation plan first with an emphasis on Verbal part. My next GMAT is scheduled for beg of July 2018, and I will share my experience with the test afterward.
For my 1st preparation which took ~3 months, I used only Manhattan SC, CR, and RC; and OG resources. This time I decided to change my strategy and I was reviewing different courses to understand which one would give me the best possible outcome. In the end, I decided to take E-GMAT VERBAL ONLINE, since it had very good overviews and it also provided an access to GMATCLUB tests. The price was also very reasonable to me.
After having used the course for ~6 months of interrupted preparation (due to job schedule) here is what I can say about the course:
- SC is really brilliant. I firmly believe that this is the single resource you need to master your SC. I became very confident with SC after about 2 months devoting my time only to this part of the course.
- CR and RC are also great. Every type of question is taught in a very structured and logical approach. First, the structure of an argument is explained, so that you can quickly segregate it into premises and conclusion parts. After that, for each type of question you are presented with a right approach to solve such type.
- What makes the course really strong is its structure in presenting the materials. All concepts are followed by quizzes and OG questions, and such approach makes you learn the concept very deeply both in terms of theory and immediate practice. You don?t need to create any plan as to how to approach the materials ? you just follow the schedule step-by-step to cover all concepts.
- The course is abundant with very hard questions, especially in CR. I believe it is very useful to solve questions of hard level in order to feel comfortable in the test setting. The Scholaranium section provides a very high quality questions bank.
Overall, if you are searching for a single resource for Verbal part, I can say that e-gmat is a great choice and it worth every dollar of the price.

Wish you all the best!

Egmat is the best available resource in the market for GMAT VERBAL. Some of the very important concepts that it teaches laids a solid foundation for students. Some of the notable points are as follows : focus on meaning in addition to grammer rules for SC, and prethink techniques for CR and RC. I feel verbal scholaranium is an excellent tool that helps in acing the exam since it provides you with analysis of your weak areas . To sum it up,learning with eGmat is one of the best decsison that I had taken and I strongly recommend this course to all the gmat aspirants.
