I've been chosen a preparation very carefully through reviews and recommendations, it was a big research from my side.
I was trying to find best solution for my situation - non-native and also not really strong in math as it was a while ago from my university (more than 10 years). I checked few recommendation and ended up on E-GMAT as it was perfect for non-native and apparently strong in math on one hand. On another hand it's perfect in price. This platform is very balanced you can study any time any where, you always have support, you are able to choose live sessions if you fill the requirements to clarify any doubts.
Moreover they could guide you further in your application process that is great too! As I almost finish the course I can see an improvement in both sections - verbal and quantitative. The fantastic feature is practice section called Scholaranium.
I'm sure I have made a right choice. I fill really grateful for the amazing course architecture and my learning experience!

My journey with e-GMAT Online course

May 9, 2018
  • Teacher:
  • Recommended forVerbal: Yes  Math: Yes
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 610 After: N/A

I took my first GMAT in 2016 and scored a 610. I was hugely disatisfied with the score but due to other
personal committments, I did not get a chance to re-take the exam.

So towards the end of last year, I thought I will consider taking the GMAT again and started actively looking for resources.
For my first attempt, I relied mainly on the Manhattan series and Official Guides. I felt that these materials were good to
give me an understanding of the topics tested and to practice the format of the exam.
However, after my analysis on my first attempt I realized what I was missing on was the right strategy.
I figured out that my main issue was not having a proper strategy to tackle the exam. I thought the best way to overcome this was to find a good course which will help me teach me sound strategies to approach GMAT in a better way.

One of my friends introduced me to e-GMAT. She had taken the course and improved by 100 points in her GMAT.
Inspired by her massive improvement, I thought I should give e-GMAT a try. I first started by reading reviews about e-GMAT on GMAT Club and Beat The GMAT forums.
I also started attending some of the free webinars conducted by the e-GMAT team. The webinars were great in understanding more about how e-GMAT courses are structured and also to get to know their teaching style.
After attending the GMAT strategy webinar and a couple of other Sentence Correction and Critical Reasoning webinars, I felt that I should purchase the course.
Hence,I enrolled into the Verbal and Quant online courses.
Needless to say, this was one of the best decisions I could have made!
The videos and materials provided by e-GMAT are amazing and very detailed. The sentence correction videos were very structuredand it walks through how to understand the meaning of a sentence, identifying clauses, subject-verb agreements and identifying
the errors in the sentence. The 3 step process for Sentence Correction was very helpful and easy for me to apply on complex Sentence Correction questions. One of the key strategies for Critical Reasoning was Pre-thinking which also greatly helped me in solving Critical Reasoning Problems. For Reading Comprehension, the importance given to get immersed in the passage was a great tip for a person like me who used to dread long passages. I no longer look at long passages as something which tires me out.
Instead, this strategy has helped me approach RC in a more relaxed manner which in turn has improved my overall accuracy.
One of the key things I like about eGMAT is the Pre-Assessment and Post-Assessment quizzes. These help to track my progress in each module and is a good way to test your knowledge in each sub topic.
I took 2 mock tests after finishing the Verbal course and I saw a 4 points improvement in my Verbal score (from 32 to 36).
The improvement can definitely be attributed to the Verbal online course as I used the approach recommended by the course to tackle the questions.
I also think that the e-GMAT Verbal course is the best among all other resources currently available for non-native speakers.
My GMAT is scheduled in a few weeks time and I am currently focusing on the Quant course. It has been great so far and I hope to see a solid score improvement for Quant as well.
For students looking at course options for GMAT, I would strongly urge you to consider e-GMAT as it is definitely worth
your money and time!

Great for SC

Sentence Correction was my biggest deficiency regarding GMAT. I was trying to catch up the subjects from various forum posts, OGs but never been able to organize the topics and content well enough. After seeing some postivie feedbacks regarding e-GMAT, I purchased Verbal Online Prep.

The SC videos were more than helpful. e-GMAT provides you a 3-step approach you must keep in mind while dealing with SC problems, and that helped me a lot. After getting familiar with e-GMAT process and analyzing concepts well, SC was not a big deal anymore.

As a non-native speaker, I totally recommend e-GMAT especially if you have some problems regarding SC.

Thank you !

Great Structured Approach to Solving Questions for Quant

May 7, 2018
  • Teacher:
  • Recommended forVerbal: No  Math: Yes
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: N/A After: N/A

Compared with other courses that I have used so far in preparation for the GMAT, one key strengths of e-GMAT that I consistently see in the training materials is the focus on a structured approach to solving problems and less so on take the so call "shortcuts" many other programs suggest. Although such an approach does take more time to learn and master along with the quant content in course, this approach very much does produce strong results for those who do not have a strong background in math.

Content Overview:
For my studying purposes, I purchased the Quant Online lessons. The whole course is organized in categories that the GMAT tests (e.g. Number Properties, Division, Geometry, etc.). Under each of these categories there are:
1. Video Lectures
2. Application Files (Interactive question practice sessions with heavy commentary meant to reinforce learned concepts)
3. Practice Files (Additional Practice Questions that appear to be developed by e-GMAT)
4. GMAT Prep Material Questions related to the content
5. Scholarium (A quiz library of sorts that allows you to practice questions and measure your progress)

The overall course takes a significant amount of time to complete (roughly about 70+ hours for me), but does cover all the foundational knowledge needed for the GMAT.

Strengths:
1. Course materials are well structured from a learning perspective (easy to hard)
2. Very strong approach (and emphasis on the approach) to solve GMAT questions
3. Ample questions available for practice that are reflective of GMAT style questions
4. Additional resources are research question to questions: e-GMAT forum, questions section on each practice question

Weaknesses:
1. Although not really a weakness, the course does cater to a more average audience, so there is a lot of foundational content and basics covered in the course. As a result, it does take a lot of time to cover in detail everything in content.

Overall Review:
If you are new to the GMAT and are also a little rusty in your math, I would recommend this course if you're looking for a very comprehensive course. This course take a lot of time commitment, but the knowledge you gain from it is well worth it going into the GMAT.

E-GMAT helps to improve sConfidence and Scores

May 7, 2018

E-GMAT stands for the quote " Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" . They do a great job at simplifying the entire process (right from the enrollment process to the in-depth analysis of the scholaranium questions.

When I started looking for a course to aid in my GMAT preparation, E-GMAT was a clear winner in terms of the way of explaining concepts. Quants was never my forte, and my scores never really crossed the 30-marks range. But I took my GMAT after help from E-GMAT and I crossed the 40 mark by a few marks. Notably, I did not put a lot of efforts into the preparation either. Hence, my confidence in their course-work is much stronger.

The best part about the course of E-GMAT besides the holistic view of all the chapters ( this fact shouldn't be taken for granted as many courses will either ignore the basics completely or will not touch the desired difficulty levels) is their scholaranium section which makes you practice almost all questions possible of each section and sub-section therein. E-GMAT also emphasizes more on structure than on shortcuts. Therefore, with enough practice, one can solve the 700-level questions like he or she solves 500-level questions.
I am willing to re-take my GMAT again in a short while. This time, I am more confident and focused towards my preparation, and I am sure my learnings from E-GMAT can definitely boost up my score by a few more points, taking me to my desired score range.

E-GMAT can be your rescue point:
(i) if you are inherently weak at quants
(ii) if you are stuck at a score and are unable to find out a reason/weakness
iii) if you lack an analytical eye to review your day-to-day performances.

Hoping to add my final scores soon.

GMAT is all about the process

I will try to keep it really short and crisp. I came to know about e-GMAT from the online forums and after going through the reviews leave no room for doubt. Just attend any free webinar by e-GMAT and you will know what I am talking about. The crux of e-GMAT teaching methodology is that there is no shortcut and one cannot get away with a high score without paying attention to the details. GMAT is an exam of logic and just the concepts are not going to help anyone through to a high score. It's the application of those concepts that is tested and e-GMAT courses are really well designed for that.
The course contents covers all there is to know about the questions asked in the GMAT and the correct way to handle them. The content files stresses a lot on following the process irrespective of the difficulty of the question.
I have attempted GMAT once and did not score well on the GMAt and the only reason for that is not the conceptual gap but the application gap.
There are many courses or free material available on the internet for GMAT but having the concepts presented in the right and concise manner is what makes the difference. With the regular live sessions, really helpful faculty and continuous content upgrades the course is only going to get better with time.

Having gone through the course material, I can confidently say that the E-GMAT Quant online has the best compilation of concepts available in the market. Though in some cases explanations are bit lengthy, it solidifies the concept to tackle the most difficult PS or DS problems with an ease. I had issues with few concepts in number properties and word problems, which are now resolved by the detailed explanations given in the course material. I have noticed 10 points jump in my mock tests. Hope to continue the same performance in real GMAT. Good luck test takers !

I have not given any examination since 5 years and it was not easy to get into the examination mode again. Kudos to the well structured and content rich flash files from E-gmat that i have been able to score above 80% in SC portion which was never my forte.
E-Gmat has made SC look so logical that concepts have now fit into mind and come intuitively.
Scholarium and analytics provided by E-Gmat helps to track improvement with time. I have read many books, but none could match the improvement and confidence provided by E-Gmat course.
Best thing about the course is the online support provided by the instructors. All queries are answered in logical manner and the repository of queries from many other students provide better understanding.

Dear all,

I am writing this review in order to help all those students who faces problem in Verbal. GMAT tests your logical thinking capacity, understanding of question and other factors within a very short frame of time. In order to excel the verbal section, it is very important for a student to have an understanding/approach to attempt a verbal question.

E-GMAT verbal course does exactly the same for the student. The entire concept of teaching/teaching methodology is amazing. First reviewing you existing potential , then make you understand the concept and then again testing you on the concept , gives the student an entire flavour of understanding of the topic.

For anyone, who has difficulty in Verbal, e-GMAT is the way, do no think of any other course.

PS: Blindly follow e-GMAT, do not have your own way.

My experience with EGMAT course

: I secured a GMAT score of 670(q51,v28). I'm retaking the exam to get a better verbal score. My experience with the Quant course of EGMAT has been amazing and it helped me a lot to achieve my dream score of Q51. I have been poor at Verbal but the course has given me great hope as the topics were so keenly discussed, followed by practice tests. The course helps you understand the topics and Scholaranium is a beautiful portal where you can practice and excel the topics you've learnt. The feedback response for the doubts you've got is pretty quick from the EGMAT management which helps you clearly understand where the things went south. I have an amazing experience using both verbal and quant live prep courses.

V23 to V38 in under 3 months

May 1, 2018
  • Teacher:
  • Recommended forVerbal: Yes  Math: No
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 590 After: 700

In first gmat in october 2017, I scored a dismal V23 (overall 590). The score was below par and I knew there was something that went horribly wrong on the D-day, as I was scoring 670-700 in my gmatprep.
After the initial mourning period, I decided to get the ESR and see where the issues were in Verbal. I saw that I got 60% of the questions wrong in the first ten questions. The graph showed that the question level never went above the Medium difficulty leading to the low score. After ESR analysis, I decided to work on verbal and use 'e-gmat' course. The decision to use e-gmat was based on the feedback of other students , plus the fact that I was working full time and didn't had the time to attend any in-person classes . Also, I had used the 'modifier application' section, present in the 'e-gmat' trial version and on the GMAT forum, during the first phase of the study and found the trial version to be of great help. Bought the e-gmat online course and reached ou t to Rajat/e-gmat team for help. They responded quickly with the steps to be followed.

Before starting with the second phase of the study, I decided to check my verbal ability on e-gmat. The score was 44 percentile. It showed that I had some gaps that had to be filled, before taking second attempt. Over the course of next 2.5 months I religiously followed the e-gmat SC, CR , RC and IR section and saw my verbal ability improve from 44 percentile to 77 percentile, couple of days before second GMAT. SC and CR were the big beneficiary , RC was fluctuating as usual.
During December, My company announced a forced furlough and that was the time, I decided to give the second GMAT. I gave GMAT prep1 repeat (700) and prep 2 (730). then I decided to give my next attempt. In january 2018, I was able to increase my score to 700 score with V38 in verbal.
This wouldn't have been possible with the verbal e-gmat course.

If you are in the same boat as I was, there is no better alternative then e-gmat course.

I took the verbal online course from e-gmat after being recommended the course by a friend after my first attempt of the GMAT.

My objective was the review the lessons for the SC and CR parts of the test. E-GMAT's course for verbal online are methodical and easy to understand. The coursework video lessons are easy to understand and have loads of examples which make the learning very applied.

I am attempting my GMAT for the second time, and while studying for the test again can be a chore, the EGMAT course takes the thinking away by providing a structure that is very helpful to learn from. I have already learned a great deal from the course structure and I look forward to cracking the additional 30 points that I am aiming for.

I recommend this course for all those who would like a methodical and structured lesson approach towards the GMAT.

Hi Folks,

I would like to share my views on the Quant Online course of E-GMAT. Currently I am preparing for GMAT using E-GMAT Online course of Quant. This course is very well organized in 5 Sections - Number Properties, Word Problems, Algebra, Geometry, Advanced topics and after it Scholaranium for the practice of advanced questions. This section solidifies the concepts of Quant.
Video lecture are quite easy to understand and after it follows with quizzes in order to concrete the concept in your mind. Currently I am practicing scholaranium and I have seen quite an improvement in the timing and accuracy. Earlier my accuracy was around 60 % which is no improved to 80 % and I am certain that by the end of the course I will see more improvement.
E-GMAT provides complete statistical analysis of your performance in each section which is a very essential thing and it really helps to improve the performance especially in your weaker sections. I am really hopeful of a good performance in Quant section of GMAT.I feel this course is apt for beginners as well as for intermediates.

After working long 5 years in one of the big 4 audit firm, decided to go for am MBA but the biggest hurdle was GMAT for me. It was hard, not because GMAT is tough but because the last time i gave any academic test was 5 years ago. I tried some other live courses as i wanted to study with an instructor who was physically present there but my late audit timing had never allowed me to take classes properly. I thought that I had to leave my ambition to do my mba but then i got to know about e-gmat live quant prep course. i purchased the course and it helped me very much. the live session allowed me to discuss the things i was weak in detail. and the instructors are very calm and professional that some time i loose my temperament to ask same topic again and again but they always come with a new way to explain. i will recommend this course to every one .

Within a month V 27 to V31 thru E-GMAT Verbal Online Prep

I gave my first GMAT after a lot of self preparation and scored a dismal 620(Q 49, V 27) and was terribly disheartened as i thought that self study should be fine to tackle the GMAT beast.
As it turned out, its not enough.
I after reading to a lot of reviews attended one of the Saturday courses with Rajat Sadana for CR that was based on the revolutionary approach of CR. I was dumb struck as for the first time I was looking towards mathematical and step wise approach to solve CR questions.
I was sold with the idea that i have to enroll for this course.
very next day i paid for it and took my GMAT test date after exactly 30 days as i wanted to apply in Round 3.
I work for a major oil and gas company in India and the working hours are as demanding as it gets.
Still, I was fascinated by the approach the tutors taught me for S,CR and RC questions.
I couldn't focus much on the course owing to my work demands but was learning a lot of new fundamentals and above all strategic approach for RC, SC and CR questions.
I couldn't study much in the last week before my exam but anyhow decided to go ahead with my score.
I loved the e-gmat course in ways that it taught me that there is a strategic and systematic approach which , if followed, shall guarantee a great score on the GMAT.
Pre-thinking in CR, Error analysis in SC and a logic consequence of the process that you could do through out the passage in RC are a score grabber.
However, due to some serious personal emergencies i missed by GMAT and couldn't appear for it.
After i recovered, I started my preparation again from scratch and appeared for the exam and scored a 660(Q49, V 31).
I know its not a great score but i am happy that i could improve 4 points in verbal, all thanks to the e-GMAT Verbal Online prep course.
I am again planning to write my GMAT again in the month of June-18 and am pretty sure that with the help of e-GMAT course and some serious dedication I shall be able to cross the 720 barrier.
All the best to everyone.
Peace.
May the force be with all of us.

e-GMAT Verbal Online - One of the best package for SC

I have started my GMAT preparation last month. After 2-3 mocks, I realized that my performance in Verbal is not satisfactory. One of my friend who scored 740 (Q51, V-39) suggested me to take e-GMAT verbal course.

There are many important features in e-GMAT which are helping me to improve my Verbal score in mocks.

The pre-assessment quiz - concept file- post assessment quiz combination is a great way focus on weak areas. Most of the concept files are interactive videos which are helping me to build up concepts from very basic level. These concepts can be applied in the post assessment quiz and OG quizzes. After each module, latest OG questions are provided to use the concept learned in actual GMAT type questions.

I believe it was a good decision to subscribe to e-GMAT verbal course. I have learned many concepts which are now helping me to solve SC questions easily.
For those who need improvement in verbal, e-GMAT Verbal Online is the best course to start.

Great course for non-natives

e-GMAT is an excellent source for non-natives. It has been such a great learning experience with e-GMAT online course.
For CR Questions, the Pre-thinking approach is really helpful. It not only improves the accuracy but helps in minimizing the time taken to solve a question.
RC was my weakest area, I used to read the passage in 2 mins and start answering the questions without in depth understanding of passage. This approach wasn't helping me at all. I used to get most of the questions incorrect.
The approach that e-GMAT provides to read and understand the passage is really good. It increases the accuracy in no time. I find myself more comfortable in solving RC passages now. In fact, RC now is my 2nd most favorite section after SC.
For SC, e-GMAT meaning based approach is amazing. The way all the concepts are taught is truly commendable. Once you start following the approach, you don't even get to know how your accuracy has been improving without any conscious efforts. This learning with e-GMAT has been amazing.

Thanks!!
