Hi,

I have purchased eGMAT's Verbal online + Verbal Live Prep + Quant Online Last year.
Before Purchasing eGMAT course, i tried to prepare only through OG. I could not improve with mere OG.
I come to know about eGMAT through BeatheGMAT and GMAT Club.
eGMAT offers Specific Strategies for different types of questions. It made me understand the Logic i was missing earlier.

I recommend eGMAT course (Both online + Live Prep) to all GMAT aspirants because of its uniqueness in getting the gist of GMAT questions.

Mastering the Comprehension helped me in understanding the Logic while reading the sentence.

SC (Online + Live ) : Before learning SC course i didnt know what is sentence structure. After Learning conceptual files in SC, I not only can solve SC questions but also can find lot of improvement in my English Speaking as well as drafting official mails.

In CR- Scholaranium offers the Strategy in Prethinking the answer for different types of arguments.

Hello Sir/Madam/Friends- I am feeling very glad to write the Review for E-GMAT Verbal & E-Gmat Quants Live & Online courses. [4] The course intermittently counsels student for improving in his/her weak areas by analysing the scores in the chapter wise quizzes.
[5] Finally Scholaranium platform provides bundle of 'Timed Quizzes' for student to sharpen the skills & analyse the weak areas in order to strengthen the core skills again.

This the most innovative course for GMAT verbal prep

May 29, 2017
  • Teacher: Rajat Sadana
  • Recommended forVerbal: Yes  Math: No
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 590 After: N/A

My GMAT journey started back in September?15. At that time, my preparation resource was Official Guides, Verbal and Quantitative review, Jamboree in class teaching. Soon after I started my preparation, I felt that my strength is Quant. After couple of weeks of study, I took a mock test in GMAT Prep Software and score in Quant was 47. However, it is not the quant that holds back my GMAT progress, but the verbal. I spent most of the time trying to improve my verbal score and practicing more on verbal, yet I could not get what I wanted. I never felt confident enough in verbal part. The situation did not changed even when I took the GMAT in November?16. I scored Q48 but verbal was a disaster.
Then, it was my time to take a step back and think what went wrong. It took me some time figure out that process of elimination is very important for verbal i.e. only figuring out the right answer is not enough, but figuring out why the wrong answer is wrong is equally important. So, I took some time to research the correct online prep. tool for me and finally, selected E-Gmat Verbal prep.
Today, as I get closer to GMAT date again, I feel differently about my verbal strength. Now I feel confident. The E-Gmat verbal online prep helped me a lot to come out from the situation that I had before my first GMAT attempt. This improvement is because of several features in the course.
Firstly, the concepts for each of the section ? RC, CR and SC ? are clearly explained with examples. It is important to show the concepts and application of the idea at the same time, with GMAT like examples. This course does that pretty well. This approach not only clears doubts and increases understanding of the concept, but also makes the concept stay embedded in your memory. Furthermore, the audio-visual approach of the course engage you in such a manner that you stay focused to lesson, a lot better than a boring lecture.
Secondly, the practice quizzes and concept quizzes right after each lesson helps to get quick feedback on your progress. For an impatient person like me, who is a sucker of quick result, the course worked well for me, at least from that point of view.
But what liked most in this course is its approach towards the wrong answer. Especially in RC and CR, the course provides you concepts on the wrong answer choice as well categorise them into the common traps used by the tentmakers. As a result, I fell a lot more confidant today when solve the questions.
Another feature that helped me a lot with my preparation is the scholarenium platform. This platform helped me to practice a lot with GMAT like question with different difficulty level. Plenty of options are available to customaries the quiz. Sometimes, I take a quiz in the exam setting to see my accuracy level. Other time I can just choose a topic in study mode to evaluate my strength on that topic. The explanation and feedbacks given in this quiz platform is really helpful.
All in all, I can say that E-Gmat verbal online prep helped me to get in better shape for the exam and to build up my confidence in verbal section!!

From 600 to 690

I first took my GMAT in 2011 and scored a 600. My score was dismal and I was really upset with my score. However, as I had signed up for the CFA level 1 then I did not have the time to study for my GMAT at that point in time. I was also stuck working in finance pulling in 12 to 14 hour work days.

So I deferred taking my GMAT until I passed my CFA which happened in 2015. Along the way, I also got married and shifted into a new place.

So last year, with 5 years of experience under my belt, I decided now is the time that I have to work towards applying for business school, so I had to do my GMAT once again. I was stuck with my score of 600, which would really ensure that I did not get into any school that I wanted to get into. So I decided to sign up for E-GMAT, I first heard about E-GMAT in 2012. I had signed up for it then but did not really have the time to follow through due to the heavy workload at my workplace, volunteer and family commitments.

But I always remembered that the lessons were easy to follow and the frameworks were really helpful. I didn't need some course with lots of tips and tricks that are hard to remember. So I signed up for the Verbal life prep.

I went through the videos and learnt all the key concepts such as pre-thinking for CR questions, getting immersed in RC Passages and breaking down the sentence into more manageable chunks.

When I first took my GMAT my score was Q41 and V31. However, for my latest attempt, my verbal score improved to 40.

I am going to redo it again and I have signed up for E- GMAT Quant live prep. Wish me luck

Hi folks

In brief i would like to introduce myself. I am Pawan from India. I had been struggling to imbibe the concept of subjects related to GMAT. Initially I tried my hand with private tutors and one of prominent online GMAT course. I don't find correct to take the name of that course.
One fine day I saw the advertisement of e-gmat, tried its sample free online trial course . Found it fruitful and bought the online course of e-gmat same day.
i would like to present the effectiveness in very simple way , before i used to score 450 in my mock and now a slow learner like me has reached to mock result up to 670. For all that it took me 4 months.
I have planned to take my GMAT soon and will update with real contended GMAT score.
As per me e-gmat is best course not only in verbal but also in Quants.

Thanks

RC is critical to ace the GMAT

I have been struggling with verbal since a long time but E-Gmat's verbal online provided a refreshing structure to my preparation. It helped me understand to not get consecutive questions wrong on GMAT as it can destroy your score and your dream to go to the perfect college. Reading comprehension is essential to not get consecutive questions wrong as it comes in a group of 3-4 questions.

E-Gmat helped me break down the RC passages and taught me how to make them simpler. I was also able to tackle the questions to the best of my abilities when I understood the passage using techniques I learnt from E-GMAT.

I am able to achieve 90% plus accuracy in sentence correction and critical reasoning through the step by step approach I mastered while studying from E-GMAT.

I highly recommend this course as it breaks down the problem in bite sized pieces and makes them easy to tackle.

I came across the e-gmat verbal randomly while I was looking for online prep course. After going some review, I decided to give it a try.

The course content is very rich, the explanation is detailed. The section is also well-structured, allowing you to combine it with a study plan. For non-native speakers, the explanation on some grammar points are very easy to understand and remember.

It not only explains you the logic behind the question, more importantly, it teaches you the best way to answer the similar question. You will get a lot of practice questions right after each video tutorial so that you could practice what you've just learned.

I took one test before and about to take my next one. For my mock test, I've increased an average of 100 points.

e-GMAT Verbal Live Course Review

I had given GMAT few years ago and scored miserably. After that I left all the hopes to crack GMAT since I had prepared for almost 6 months exhausting best courses available. Last year my friend told me about e-GMAT course ,which was creating havoc in GMAT CLUB community. I immediately checked its reviews and opted for its Verbal Online Prep course.

Its reviews on GMATCLUB are not unfounded. Believe me I was able to improve my SC accuracy from 40% to 80% in very short duration of time. Its 3 step approach for SC is impeccable. Also, its prethinking approach in CR is mind blowing. I am now able to solve very difficult CR questions (Assumption, Evaluate, Strengthen and Weaken) within 2 minutes. My accuracy in CR has improved drastically.

Now I am scoring 32-34 in verbal (yes a whopping 10 point improvent!!! ) and around 650 score overall. I soon intend to give my GMAT.

If you are looking for 100+ point improvement in score in very short duration, here's the answer -eGMAT!

I think it was a very wise decision to enroll for the GMAT verbal online course. E-GMAT explains concepts in a very simple manner and since their modules are broken into short videos, it is easy to grasp concepts. Also, their application quizzes make sure that you understand the concept well. In addition to this, Scholaranium is a brilliant way to do timed exercises with dynamic difficulty level.
E-GMAT has helped me see a marked improvement in my verbal ability.

Found the the course to be very thorough and step-wise

I am currently studying for the GMAT and am using E-GMAT to prepare for my test. When I started studying for this exam I found the whole process very overwhelming. I am a very thorough individual, and I found other prep companies were often less comprehensive.

E-GMAT really spoke to me because they do a really good job breaking down big sections of the tests into small bite size concepts complete with pre and post quizzes to test and reinforce your knowledge. This sounds simple but I found it to be a very helpful way of absorbing the information.

Don't get me wrong the class and program takes a lot of time. However, if you are committed to taking the time to work through their material and use their planning tools, you will be very happy you did.

I am not a perfect student. I wasn't always the most disciplined with their program but after getting some momentum, I found their methodology to be something I could always fall back on.

I am happy to answer any further questions about the prep course. It has worked for me well thus far and I will post a thorough debrief when I finish my prep and take the exam. Until then!

Very powerful course to master Sentence Correction

May 23, 2017

I bought Verbal Online course of e-GMAT last year in September and must say, that it has increased my Verbal skills a lot, especially Sentence Correction. Being a non-native English speaker, I was initially having low accuracy in Sentence Correction section. I then decided to take-up e-GMAT's Online Verbal course on the recommendation of a few friends and based on its reviews across various online forums.

I started with Sentence Correction section and felt immediate improvement on the understanding of various concepts essential for GMAT. The course structure is very structured with Pre/Post Quizzes at the start/End of each video lesson, which helps to gauge understanding of the concept learnt. I would like to mention Modifiers and Idioms areas specially where e-GMAT has to the point coverage of concepts. Concepts covered under Critical Reasoning are also very useful. I found the course strictly average for RC. Practice Quizzes and Application Quizzes at the end of each sub-section aid in getting practice and checking whether basics are clear or not, although level of all the questions may not be GMAT-like. Experts are available to clear doubts through Forum sections as well.

Overall, I will strongly recommend e-GMAT for preparation of Verbal section in GMAT, especially for mastering Sentence Correction.

Egmat Quant Course

May 22, 2017
  • Teacher: Payal Tandon

  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 540 After: 600

Hi Friends,
First my background:
I am an indian male with not IT background. As all Non native speakers, i lack skills in Verbal, and there fore it became necessary for me to make up majority of my score by boosting the Quant score.
Prep details:
I went though all the OG questions which one cannot compete in quality and as recommended by most Manhattan Quant guides but i still find my confidence lacking to reach the Q 50/51 highs.

Going though various reviews and bringing my over confidence down i decided to go through a structured course which will boost my confidence to achieve the 49-51 range.

I came across e-gmat quant course after reading various positive reviews on different GMAT Prep forums. First of all i was amazed to see the structure of the course which was very handy and easy to go through. You learn concepts then apply quizzes and later Application test and final ability quizzes. You get no reason in egmat c ourse to not master in every single topic tested in the GMAT.
The live sessions with Rajat, Payal and Krishna were not less than an eye opener. i love the new techniques they taught like : analyzing and breaking down the DS question prior to reaching the options, number properties questions were never so easy to solve with the e-gmat techniques and algebra which has always been a night mare for me, I learnt the importance of bringing all the expressions in the left side of the inequality before breaking them down. This has left me stunned because i never messed up with the +_ signs after applying e-gmat principles in algebra. Also the graphical representation of the equations to solve for x is something i never knew.
I have improved already from Q46 to Q49 in my last GMAT exam and now i am preparing again to score Q50-51 in my next attempt.

This time i am focusing on the Quant scholaranium . This is the Custom test platform by egmat where one can select quest ions of different topics, different difficulty levels and adjust timings. As a result you also get detailed analysis of the timing and your performance and obviously the question explanations. A question bank of 700+ all level and topic questions is grooming my prep further and finally i feel that i can achieve my target score of Q50-51.

I would definitely recommend this course to all GMAT aspirants .

A great course to crack verbal.

I was attending a classroom coaching for Gmat. Though the coaching for quants was good, the coaching for verbal was really pathetic. Eventually i had to postpone the Gmat exam as i could not score more than 27 in verbal. There was a huge gap in basics. I was desparately trying to learn the basics online and came across egmat who provided some free videos on verbal coaching which was very impressive. The next day I enrolled for the verbal online course. The videos are very interactive and the best part is that there is a pre and post quiz within every video. The modules are very well segregated and it is designed in such a way that once a module is completed, any question could be answered. It is helping me a lot and i can see my scores reaching upto 38 in the mock tests. This is a gift I have given to myself.

1) e-learning couldn't be better than this.. eGMAT has made the best possible way to help non-native speakers to gain confidence.. If someone who prefers to study e-learning then eGMAT has everything you are looking for.

2)I liked the structure of eGMAT. It is just amazing. .for each topic, they do pre assessment, then teach you the concept and then post assessment.. so many good practice questions to make one feel confident about the topic by the end.. very comprehensive.

3)The method of teaching is the most I appreciate.. they don't teach us shortcuts. they teach you the most reliable, meaningful way of learning a concept..they will direct us in a right way.. Doubts are always addressed in time. and many of the doubts have already been addressed, we just have to look for similar doubt in the forums.

4)Finally, Live sessions are there to fill the gap. they solidify the concepts. after a live session I could see a rapid improvement in each topic..Teachers teach you in the simplest possible way.

5)Teachers are very attentive, they address every query, they are very kind...
I couldn't find a flaw in eGMAT..It is just perfect..
my mocks score has improved by 60points already.

How to conquer verbal in gmat

I had given my first attempt of GMAT late last year and had scored a 650(V40 , Q40)

When i started out prepping for GMAT my verbal score was at about V31. I then signed up for E-gmat and it was the only source i reffered to for working on the verbal skills.

The Section wise video tutorials are very well structured to help non native speakers especially.
I had thoroughly gone through those and then would practice diligently on the scholaranium everyday.
Noting errors in the scholaranium and then going back to video concepts whereever you notice a gap in concept i think is a good way to keep going and improving.
You also have features to bookmark and marked as guessed for questions that helps you come back to them.
the scholaranium gives you an complete analysis with breaking down topic wise weak areas for you to then work over.
I think overall the e-gmat is a great course structured to target your verbal weak areas and strengthen them with simple methodologies.

Very focus lessons that give me just what i need to learn

I am sure that the e-gmat has the best online verbal lessons for practicing the verbal gmat, i haven?t done the gmat yet, but i am sure that it will be a success because the verbal online course that i had.
The e-gmat lessons focus you on understanding exactly what the gmat want you to answer, they teach you what the question its about and how is the best way to understand it and to answer it. Before taking the gmat i had very poor score in the prep test, later when i had the e-gmat course i found out that i had a poor score because i answered everything with another focus, the wrong focus of course.
When you have a question or you don?t understand something you can contact a teacher and he or she will answer back in less than a day, the responses are very accurate and quick, this will help you a lot in your learning.
Also i recommend that you download the photon flash browser to see the classes in a better way, i had problems with others browser in my ipad.
Finally i have to say that every online class is developed in a perfect way, first they make a quick test to see in what level you are, with this i found out that i had very poor understanding in some topics, then you do the class that it is full of very usefull examples! then you have a very good summary of the class and finally they test you again to see if you had a good understanding in the topic. In this after exam i always performed lots better than in the first one, showing me that i had learn what i need to thanks to the class.

E-GMAT Verbal Online Review

May 11, 2017
  • Teacher: Online Course

  • GMAT ScoresBefore: N/A After: N/A

GMAT aspirants are always in a pickle when it comes to decide a preparation company, so was I. I read many reviews and took many trials, as I didn?t want to be disgruntled later. There are many approaches, which different companies use to make concepts clearer for their students, but E-gmat process took me by storm. The free webinars provided by them are absolutely brilliant and provide you with a proper insight of what their course actually looks like. They finally did lure me into selecting them, and it was totally worth it.

The interface used by them to teach all the concepts is so user interactive that you end up learning the concepts crystal clear. The topics are well segregated and ordered, and thus avoid confusion. The most exciting part is the post-assessment quiz. This quiz gives a proper judgement about how much one has actually learnt from the concept file.

SC- The SC course is undoubtedly the best. It starts from the basics and goes on to build the complex skills, The most important thing in SC is identifying all the clauses and their subject and verb pairs, concepts which are taught in a warranted way. Their meaning based approach to all the SC questions helps to eliminate all the incorrect answers in an easier way. After having all the basics in your pocket what can go wrong?

CR- PRE-THINKING. That?s the jist of their CR course. I have learnt the entire concept of pre-thinking through their course and it helps me to save a lot of time on selecting the correct answer. Their detailed approach to each and every question makes POE easier and comfortable.

EGMAT : Must for Verbal

May 9, 2017
  • Teacher:
  • Recommended forVerbal: No  Math: No
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 520 After: 680

My goal when I started preparing was to score 720-730 (Q50, V38-40), and my first mock score was 520. I was sure that I would need to work on Verbal but had never imagined that I have to start with this low score on Verbal. I purchased and referred many books like MGMAT, etc. It helped to improve my Verbal score but was not getting satisfying score and got exhausted soon. I went online to review a full courses and ended up taking Egmat Verbal online course, And it worked magically. That was one of the best decisions that I have made in my GMAT journey.

Egmat gives you deep study plan, very easy language with detailed explanation which helps you to relate to the topics easily. Scholaranium is very helpful to identify your weak areas and help us to target them ( it gives you accurate data ). There are three steps strategy which is helpful especially for CR. I was able to get right answer in short time. It also gives you topic summary at the end of each topic in brief which helps you to understand the topic even more. Due to work I was not able to give my exam within 6 months, and EGMAT team informed me about my expiry date, I sent them proof of my exam date and they extended my subscription for FREE. I am very thankful to EGMAT team for this.

My exam is in 1 month, I will keep posting my score and about my journey.

Preparing to scale up my score from 590 -700

  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 590 After: N/A

Hi guys, Hope some of you are planning to write GMAT and some already written and planning to apply to schools for next year. I am one of you planning to write GMAT next month and apply for next year.

I am from India and come from engineering background. So like everyone i am not much bothered about my Quant abilities but being a non native i have an entrenched fear and doubt in cracking verbal. I am like everyone who want to make it to big schools by scoring a minimum 700 on GMAT.

When I decided to write GMAT on November I gave my first mock and got 590 which is very depressing. Then, I searched across all internet like you all and decided to go with e-gmat verbal Online course for the huge number of reviews by all aspirants and the cost of course. The cost of the course is very affordable and indeed cheap for the quality of course. This course properly followed will be enough to score high in verbal. I am very much happy for opting this course. This course is very holistic as it covers all aspects and types of verbal questions we may face in GMAT exam. You will have an approximate 250 questions of each section as part of verbal scholaranium which on practice make your fundamentals and verbal rules fix in your mind. After that now I am able to identify what can be the type of error can be present in the question upon reading it which will make me confident in answering the question. Especially as mentioned by everyone E-gmat SC is unmatchable with any course in the market.

I hope to write an successful review after my exam on June 16. I wish you all the best
