Very Good course to bring up Verbal score

Hi,
I have taken the GMAT about a year and half back and scored 630 overall, I think the split between QA and VA was 42 and 36 respectively if I remember correctly.
Life happened, and I got derailed on my plans for MBA. However I have again restarted my preparation. One thing I had to taken care was the fact my VA score was pretty low, and on analysis and my own instinct I knew this was more due to SC and RC than CR.
E gmat course is helping me to understand the SC and RC process, I did not have any formal english grammar education so trusted my ear more while solving SC questions during my last GMAT attempt and while I started my preparation again a month back. RC is more of a pain, as more often while going through the questions after reading the passage, I cannot even understand/remember which portions of the passage i should relook at. I end up reading the passage more than once, sometimes
three time, inevitably getting the answer wrong and losing precious time.
The egmat concept of meaning and pause while reading complicated SC and RC has definitely built up on my confidence. My accuracy has gone after completing about 50% of the course. My test date is on 2/15, so heres to hoping that I will do well.
I recommend egmat verbal course as i feel that most of us juggle a job, family and preparation for GMAT has to be optimized for maximum accuracy within a short time span and multiple commitments.

The best verbal course for non-natives

The E-GMAT verbal online course is the best fit for non natives. The most amazing part being that the course is very interactive and conducts several quizzes while teaching each concept to ensure the student has really understood everything right from the basic concepts to the approach clearly.
The SC course rightly helps you develop the mindset of giving utmost importance to the logical intended meaning by the author whereas the CR course imbibes in you the quality of prethinking. I believe these are significant aspects of the course which help you in significantly improving your course.
The E-GMAT team is also very focused on doubt solving, their instructors are constantly active on the different forums to help solve your doubts and queries.
I would highly recommend this course to any non native GMAT aspirant.

Before taking the course I was quite unaware of the grammatical concepts of the verbal course. After taking the course all the conceptual gaps were filled. I was able to apply the concepts properly during the real GMAT test.

One of things that I liked the most was how the instructors have emphasized on the need to simplify what the question is really asking. This was particularly helpful for DS questions. Also, the quality of practice questions was pretty good.

One of the key things that I would recommend to anyone who is planning to take GMAT is that don't go looking for additional practice material. e-GMAT offers a very thorough and comprehensive material that covers all the fundamentals required to ace the test. Moreover, the way the tutors help you dissect even the most difficult questions helps you a great deal.
SC: Covers all the fundamental rules which are needed to do well in SC. But one of the things that stands out is e-GMAT's Strong emphasis on meaning. It may sound trivial but it is one of the most helpful approaches for SC. It not only helps you improve accuracy but also assists with time management.
CR: CR course is more about following a particular approach. Unlike SC, there aren't many concepts / rules to learn. e-GMAT helps you master a process which enables you to avoid falling in common mistake traps.
RC: Mastering reading strategies is a must. And e-GMAT's course puts strong emphasis on that.
Overall, if someone is aiming to score in excess of a V38, I would definitely recommend signing up for e-GMAT course. It will give you enough practice material, save you time as you won't need to run to "N" number of sources for practicing good quality questions, thereby giving you the opportunity to do the best you can on GMAT.

I'm a non native. My first Gmat test score was Q49, V23. You see, Being a non native I was struggling with the concept of SC ,CR and RC .Then I purchased verbal online course of egmat . The Concept of SC and CR in the verbal online course helped me a Lot. I could solve some hard questions just based on sentence's meaning approach, and their 3 step process (Meaning analysis, Error Analysis, Options Analysis) I learned though the course makes SC seem more easier task to handle and the concept given for CR are also good .I Scored 600 in first gmat prep and 690 in second and 650 in manhattan Free prep test and 710 in free veritas prep test .Although i performed badly on the D -Day but I have not lost my hopes .I highly recommend this course for all the non native english speaker who are struggling with Concept of SC or CR .This course will definately come in handy in your gmat preparation.

The Verbal online course is really great. They teach you everything from the basics and help you focus on the fundamentals , which is a key factor in GMAT success. Their Prethinking method in CR helps you develop your critical thinking and greatly helps in improving accuracy and confidence. Their SC course i would say is world class and makes a ton of difference to your SC ability.

When I took a mock test (GMAT Prep) in the beginning, I found I was good at quant and terrible at verbal. After doing my research, I came across e-GMAT. I opted Verbal Online course and found it to be extremely useful, particularly for my SC preparation. I like e-GMAT?s focus on logic (following same set of rules for all the questions) rather than mugging up various rules, thereby simplifying one?s Verbal preparation. My accuracy in SC section improved significantly after taking e-GMAT?s Verbal Online course. Additionally, this course is very structured. It has both pre- and post-assessment quizzes for every concept. If you are a person who can prepare on your own without any guidance and looking for resources to improve your verbal skills, I would strongly recommend Verbal Online. Hope this helps!

Hi all,, i have registered for this course in the month of june'16. The course was designed so well & structured that one can easily solve the problems upon completion of the same. only condition is that just follow the way E-GMAT teaches u & follow the steps as taught. I am really happy to take up this course & more importantly its worth for time u spend on it. I scored Q 49 & i appreciate team E-GMAT for the amount of time they invested in designing the course.
only con i noticed is that, one finds it difficult to get their doubts clarified for those problems which are not part of E-GMAT Course. Hope the same may be rectified by E-GMAT. Having said that its more than sufficient if one religiously follows / completes the course to get Q 49,50 OR 51.

?The courses are well paced and I personally felt that they were a bit slow.
?The good thing about e-GMAT is the retention rate of the information.Everything is so structured and systematic that you will be able to understand the toughest of concepts with ease.
?The courses are taught by instructors of Indian background. So I(being an Indian) felt this accent to be very comfortable.

?They have extensively covered all the concepts of Verbal. One thing is for sure, they did their homework ;) All major models of SC,RC and CR are identified and are dealt in different modules.

?I think this is one area e-GMAT is lagging behind.Currently their modules are available only on PC.No mobile app is available and we cannot access their lessons on mobile browser too.

The day I decided to prepare for GMAT, I took a practice test in one of the mobile application and thought that this was going to be easy, but reality dawned only after trying the original GMAT questions from the official guide to GMAT. Like most of the Indians I had trouble in the verbal section. So I decided to take some tests and found that verbal pulled my total score down to 620.
A friend of mine advised me to take help from the professionals. I looked for some courses that could match my need. I stumbled upon e-GMAT and thought that could be my best option and I wasn?t wrong.
Lessons: This course is best adopted for non-native speakers. The audio visual lessons help you learn at your own speed. They are well structured and the building blocks are perfectly placed one above the other. It is easy to choose the right option as long as you blindly follow the methodology they suggest. All we have to do is follow the technique and practice.?
Verbal Live: I was skeptical about the live sessions until I attended one. Initially I was of the opinion that the audio visual lessons alone are sufficient.? Guess I was wrong. The live sessions provided valuable insights that you may not get otherwise. If one cannot attend, they also do provide links to recording of the session.?
After going through the course my score has improved to 700+ (yet to take the actual test).

- perfect for scoring in exams - don't waste time on rarely used grammar rules.
- interactive material with speech feature - listening is always more effective than reading it self.
- ample of practice questions with detailed solution
- OG questions with step wise solutions
Can surely take you to the V37-V41 range, above that it's up to one's own dedication and ability.

I am from engineering background so I never had too much trouble in quant sections. But the main issue was Verbal section. After doing a lot practice questions and reading concepts again and again,it never helped me to improve. So I searched for a course on gmatclub and saw E-gmat with its highest reviews and highest score improvement on verbal. Immediately I bought E-gmat verbal online and stated my preparation. Course has short quizzes at the end of every lesson so its very helpful to properly understand every topic.
After completing the course I was able to correct my every mistake on SC & CR.
Some courses have questions above GMAT difficulty level but E-gmat has same level of questions.
It helped me to gain 80% accuracy on CR( my weakest point).
They teach very easy to understand strategy for every section.
Their SC section is different from other courses, they teach us to understand the meaning first then find the errors. The way they t each SC is incredible.
I highly recommend this course for non native speaker.

Hi.. In my opinion, the e-gmat verbal is the most effective course out there. I had already taken my gmat and scored 620 with a V28 and knew I needed some help with the verbal section. That's when I chanced upon the e-gmat. I purchased the full course after attending a few of their free webinars and course material that's available when one signs up on it.
I must say that they have an incredibly structured course videos which strong emphasis on the concepts and providing pre and post ability quizzes for each topic.
There was another course material which I had referred which was purchased by my sister but the e-gmat concept files beat it in the manner the concepts are presented and the way application of the concepts is conveyed across.
I'd highly recommend the e-gmat to anyone who's either starting theit GMAT prep or is looking to improve their score.
Cheers!

Hi all, Firstly i would like to thank "Team E GMAT" for their honest approach in designing the course. Its worth for Money & most importantly TIME. The quality of time the team has invested in designing the course can be truly felt, if prepared well & paid attention to.
I attended classes from 2 other institutes before approaching E GMAT. You really will notice a lot of difference in terms of approach & understanding questions. I really liked the way the course has been structured & helped me change the way i approached verbal questions. Last but not the least i am giving my exam on this 23rd & i am confident at this point of time in getting a good score. Its all about the time we invest in learning & i seriously recommend taking up this course if Ur investment is TIME & its really important, which i realized after the difference i noticed between E GMAT Course & the so called institutes out there. Didn't demean anyone out there.

It was my 2nd attempt writing the GMAT test and I ended up scoring a 700 (Q49 V35). My previous score was 640 (Q49 V28). e-GMAT helped me make the big leap from V28 to V35 and I am grateful for that.
My experience with e-GMAT has been amazing. I enjoyed every second I spent learning with e-GMAT.
While preparing for the exam I realized that there are two crucial factors you need to keep in mind if you want to get a 700+ score on the GMAT:
1) It is imperative to get your basics and core concepts right. The videos and lessons at e-GMAT really helped me with this. They were comprehensive and very beneficial.
2) It is necessary to know the topics you are good at and the topics you need to improve in. e-GMAT Scholaranium helped me do that. It helped me identify my weak spots and ultimately improve them. This made the actual difference.

Best thing I liked about the course is you can test yourself through scholarium after each topic that enables you to remember the material better.

e-GMAT's verbal online is a comprehensive package. I have not taken GMAT yet, but I am very certain that this course will help me cross the 700 mark. The format of the course is simple, easy to understand and very well organised.
