e-GMAT Verbal Live Prep course has been really helpful to me for my GMAT exam preparations. When I started my preparations for the exam, I was confident and familiar with the exam format but, I was unable to get decent score in the tests. Upon much analysis, I realized there was a need to build upon basic concepts of Verbal. Verbal Live Prep course concept files are very precise and there is an attention to detail. The application files further builds up on the process of leveraging the concepts and applying them successfully. Live sessions helps in understanding and devising the correct approach to solve questions. The course in itself is a complete package for GMAT verbal preparations.

I took the online verbal course by eGMAT and I must say that I was very impressed by the way the topics were covered. The matter is quite relevant to the pattern and also the questions and quizzes included were of great help in improving the GMAT score.

I heard from a friend about e-gmat. His score jumped 60 points after he took the online course. He recommended me the same. Being a voracious reader I thought I would breeze through the verbal GMAT, but I was wrong. verbal requires the same rigour and technique quant requires and even more for us non-natives. And not only has it improved my confidence in verbal it has also made me a better writer. I think for anyone who is going to start preparing for GMAT, e-gmat is the one stop solution. The tutorials are way ahead of any other course and definitely help to achieve the score you want.

Though difficult to remember all the rules.
Need to Practice a lot but it clarifies all your basic Grammer Rules.

The Scholoranium which comes free with egmat Verbal courses is a beast in itself. A humongous collection of questions & their deep analysis will take you further in your gmat prep. The analytics it provides for the questions attempted is also world class. Often the students have to prepare their own error logs using Excel and what not. This tool automates a lot of that and gives you insights which you can utilize to improve your performance in areas where you are not performing well.
Overall, its a great practice tool to further refine your gmat verbal prep. You yourself will see the results after you have been halfway through the questions database as the concepts covered and tested are thorough and comprehensive.
For few very tough questions, the explanation might be confusing but dont get disheartened if you get them wrong, focus more on enhancing your learning with each attempt rather than trying to get everything right all the time.
If you have taken some other course, you can also buy this separately for which I highly recommend to do so.

I'm non-native English, thus I have been challenged a lot for GMAT, especially verbal part. I did take in person course from Kaplan and did practice a lot, however, I didn't have a strong foundation to increase my verbal score. Most of verbal questions, I depended on guessing. Luckily, I found e-GMAT, which provided me the solid foundation with varieties of topic will be covered in most of GMAT test. From there, I couldn't believe that I could get more than 50 percentile in verbal (in mock test). I keep practicing for the real one in next two weeks. Now I feel like I'm not scared about verbal part. Thus, I highly recommend e-GMAT for Verbal Online Course. it's worth your money and time.

The e-GMAT Verbal Online course has been a valuable resource in preparing for the GMAT. Being a non-native English speaker, both my accuracy and speed across all verbal sections have improved. The quality of content is really high. I believe this should be used throughout the study period instead of using it towards the end after completing the score. I would definitely recommend this course.

Strengths:

- Emphasises on clarity of questions not just bunch of rules. Easy to remember and simple to use
- Was just the right length, cover just about enough concepts ( especially in SC, some of the other test preps jogger way too much grammar!)
- Good number of exercise questions. Excellent analytics in Scholaranium- one can really understand their strengths and weakness.
- Sets the right expectations (GMAT-style reading is very different from casual reading). You must forget what you know and re-learn reading to succeed.
- The CR approach of "pre-thinking" works like a charm
- The RC section is what really shines in this book.

Weaknesses:

- The CR questions are slightly different from the official "flavor", which is typical for third-party questions.

Bottom line:

One of then best Verbal online course. Say to follow. Unique analytics is really helpful.

This course is a must have for non native aspirants who want want to excel in gmat but couldnt because of their poor verbal efficiency

The style-animated lecture sessions- they use is also innovative and efficient

The quality of the video lectures,concept files is so good that one can hardly find such clarity in other prep courses

Back about 6 months ago, I signed up for e-GMAT Verbal and Quant courses and realized that I should have stuck with them from the beginning. Now that I realize the values that the courses offered and I've been through others', I think I can provide pointers for those that about to prep.

- SC course is extraordinary! The explanations of every single OG question is detailed and help students see clearly why each answer choice is right or wrong. If you think 2 answers are very close and can both be correct, e-gmat would show you why one of them is *obviously* the wrong choice. For e-gmat, there is NO close to correct. This is valuable especially for non-English speakers because we can approach the questions systematically and get the right answer. Unlike English speaking students, we don't have the 'ear' for right and wrong in Verbal (sometime, the ear doesn't help with difficult questions either)

- CR and RC courses are also very good. I think CR and RC need different approach than SC. I started out as not as strong but now these are my comfortable subjects. E-gmat did a good job with these 2 course but what work for me was to practice and practice (OG, LSAT, etc) until you're super comfortable.


- I like the course set up with the concepts, quizzes, lectures, apply to GMAT questions, and OG questions list. It gives me a framework to work through and make sure I learn the right thing, right amount, at the right time. If you're a technical person (I'm an engineer) you will enjoy this set up since you know exactly what you need to cover and how you will do it.


I hope you try e-gmat and really put your best effort forward. You'll know a whole lot more than other gmaters...and you most likely get a higher score as well.

I took this course because it was highly recommended and it did prove to live up to its worth. For those of us, who travel in their jobs, an online curriculum like this with a good user interface is really helpful

RC - Using their online videos , I was able to devise sound strategies which helped me answer in a time bound manner without compromising on accuracy.

CR - Anyone who is planning to give GMAT would know how crucial this part is, and with the indepth breakdown of the structure of a problem, my fundamentals to approach CR questions became really strong

SC - The course helped me understand all grammar and meaning concepts required for gmat.

Overall I like how every aspect is GMAT curriculum is covered so holistically in this course ,giving a very clear breakdown of the problem and helping us to attack questions faster and more accurately.

The e-GMAT Verbal Online course has been a valuable resource in preparing for the GMAT. Even as a native English speaker, both my accuracy and speed across all verbal sections have improved. The course does a great job in helping you understand each type of question the GMAC throws at you. I would highly recommend this course if you need to fine tune your verbal skills for the GMAT.

The course is very well structured and turns out to be quite intensive if you follow the instructions. It is crucial to follow the steps and do your job. Then it works.
One of the most valuable things about e-gmat is the commitment and involvement of the teachers! They have an amazing capability to manage the process; you will definitely get your question answered; your teacher will do his or best to explain to you the things you fail to understand;
I think they are the best at explaining modifiers and parallelism. I can still hear the voice of Payal in my head - Meaning is the king! (SC session)
As for Scholaranium, I think this is a useful thing because you can choose the subject and difficulty you need or mix the groups and then see the analytics. The thing I did not like about Sch. is that they did not mark appropriately or delete the questions with flawed structure or wording and disputable answers as a result.
To sum it up, the course is a real value for the little money they charge. But hard work is essential.

If you are looking for a product to work on and improve your skills from scratch or looking to brush your verbal skills, e-GMAT's verbal online is a reliable way to achieve this. It covers everything required for sentence correction, critical reasoning and reading comprehension section. The quality of content is really high. The best part is that e-GMAT teachers respond very fast. I consider their explanation of OG questions far far better than official answers. Verbal Scholaranium is a great offering from e-GMAT that lets one measure their current accuracy and ability scores. I believe this should be used throughout the study period instead of using it towards the end after completing the score.

I took e-gmat verbal online course recently. I was impressed with the concept clarity and practice examples in SC, CR and RC. It has definitely increased my accuracy. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I took the GMAT two times and could score only 630 with 25 on Verbal. Then I was recommended to take the eGMAT verbal live prep by my friend. I covered the topics and improved my verbal score by 20 points.

I took the E-gmat Online Course to take a different approach to GMAT prep and I am genuinely satisfied. The methodologies used by E-gmat are systematic and thoroughly explained. The course is comprehensive and ensures speedy learning focusing both on accuracy and in-depth understanding. The step-by-step problem solving approach for every Question type is invaluable and helps solidify answering strategies. The learning interface is interactive and very helpful when one needs to prepare on his/her own pace. The questions for practice are also of extremely high quality and enable one to prepare for the toughest questions on the GMAT. Egmat has improved my approach towards Verbal for GMAT test. Due to its crisp content aimed for GMAT test takers, its quite helpful in explaining the content and the intent of the questions meant for GMAT

In my first attempt in GMAT, my weakest area was Verbal (V27) & more specifically SC.

Before the exam i completed OG 12, 13 & Verbal Review, but my accuracy remained quite low during the practice & never improved. Same thing repeated in the exam & i ended up scoring badly

After the exam i was clueless on how can i improve my score, since i have gone through Manhattan guides thoroughly, practiced from whatever resource i could find.

Through Beat the GMAT, i came to know about E-gmat Verbal Live course & teir pitch was that their course is design esp. for Non-Natives. I decided to enroll myself for the demo SC class which they were hosting, i really liked the demo class & decided to enroll for the course, as i was out of ideas on how to improve my score.

Their approach to break down the sentence in clauses & then look for the parts of sentence was very helpful & easy for me to objectively look at sentences & find the errors in them.

Further, I dont think any other course covers modifier topic in such a detailed extent as course has done. Also in course the practice question are designed along with the topic you study, with this approach the topic gets cemented with you. I liked this very much.

After spending some 35 hours on their SC module, i realized that SC is most logic based topic & can be mastered very easily. Now i feel it to be my strongest topic.

Second, I found the Reading strategies in RC module to be extremely helpful & they improve your comprehension & reading speed simultaneously.

After going through the course, i have done exceedingly well in official mocks & i hope my success in them get translated to actual exam.

I will Highly Recommend this course to Non Natives, as they gain from it immensely.
