Finished taking the GMAT recently. Scored a 740 (Q49, V41, IR-8, AWA-6). I used the 4 month accelerated program at TTP.  Mocks & Overall Thoughts:  In total, I took about 25 Mocks from various sources. The official ones are a must-buy. I made the mistake of using them before using the non-official ones. I’d suggest exhausting all the non-official ones first and then moving on to the Official Mocks. My Quant scores were always 48+, Verbal ranged from 33 to 43. I was targeting a Quant 50 but ended up with a 49 on D-Day. For IR I just familiarized myself with the question types using TTP. It also helped that I deal with very similar graphs/charts at my workplace.  My Test Day experience was pretty smooth. I do think that it’s very important to be calm during the test, and going through TTP gave me the confidence I needed to know that I was ready in my preparation. I didn’t really have a timing strategy. In the initial practice phase, I would constantly look at the clock after every question, but I realized that after a lot of practice, I had developed an “internal sense” of time. I switched to looking at the clock just at the halfway mark. This helped reduce my nerves and also kept me “engrossed” in the questions rather than the amount of time remaining. If I felt like a question was taking too long, I’d look at the clock and give myself an additional 30-45 seconds. For Quant, I have a habit of always relying on an algebraic method, because I find it easier and more "automatic" than having to logically think and use smart numbers. I think it's important to diversify the way you approach Quant questions, and I think my over reliance on algebra probably cost me the Q-50. Main Takeaways: a) Quality>Quantity(esp for Verbal) b)Untimed Practice c) Long sittings   Materials:  TargetTestPrep’s Accelerated Program LSAT for RC OG Advanced Guide GMATCLUB- CR & SC & RC(Topical Practice- Science and Art passages were a menace)  The TTP program has an insane number of questions for Quant and Verbal across all difficulty levels. I don’t think you’d need to look elsewhere tbh. For Verbal I did all the Questions on TTP, and for Quant I did around 70-80% of the questions- might’ve gotten the q50 had I done all :(   Features about TTP that I liked:  1) The UI is so so good. This stuff really goes a long way over the course of your entire prep. It really helps to not look at something that bores you. 2) Automated Features: The auto error log and lesson plans are super helpful. They really do help save at least 30-40 mins per day, which over the course of 3-5 months compounds and becomes 30-40 hours. Plus it takes away the stress of having to plan stuff. TTP has also put reviews at very specific times. Everything they do and suggest is very strategic. 3) Custom Tests: I used this mainly for quant. I segregated the tests into 2 buckets-> One for wrong Qs, and the other for Qs that I took more than 2 mins on. It’s a great way to a)Get into the testing mode and b)Give you a quick glance at areas you need to focus on. 4) Approach to SC questions: I found their methods very logical and less reliant on “jargon”. Particularly helpful for my learning style, and easy to remember. 5) CR Untimed Practice: CR was the area I struggled with the most. TTP changed the way I looked at CR questions. There were times when I’d spend 20-25 mins on a CR question initially, but in the end, it paid off and I’m grateful that they constantly preach and emphasize the importance of untimed CR practice. Also, I love how they’ve categorized all of the right and wrong answers. Really helps in identifying trends in the answer choices. 6) Streaks Method: This is something they preach for all sections. I neglected this kind of practice for all sections barring RC. A week before my test I knew I was heavily unprepared for RC. For that one week, all I did was the streaks method for hours on end. On my real test, I was lagging by 7-8 qs, and then came a giant Science RC passage. Long sittings of streaks method practice really helped prepare me for situations like these. 7) Chat Feature: The TTP team is extremely wholesome, everyone from the tutors to the tech folks. They will constantly check up on you, quickly respond to doubts, and give you advice and tips. I also love that they constantly upload tips on YouTube shorts. Marty’s tips on sticking to questions no matter how much time they take were really really helpful. 8) Bookmarking: Love the fact that you could bookmark even specific lines from chapters. Really helpful when doing reviews. 9) Content: Extremely vast and deep. Covers every nook and corner there is to this test. Very logical explanations.  All in all, if you finish this program you’ll feel extremely confident. Just trust the process and the amazing team.

If you are looking for a great course, especially for quants, look no further. The quant modules are designed exactly to help lay the foundations and help you think like the GMAT question maker. The modules are well crafted, and the explanations/solutions are detailed and very helpful. The verbal modules are quite extensive, and the questions/examples are designed to test the concepts taught. The verbal course also helps lay the foundation and gets you ready to start solving the questions from the OG. Shoutout to Marty for being very responsive, you never feel like the verbal course is one sided. Great UI, excellent error log, immediate response to queries, helpful articles in between the course, and Scott's soothing voice make TTP an excellent course to help achieve your best score possible and enjoy the process of GMAT preparation.

TTP was instrumental in my preparation and final results that I achieved. The great focus on nuances and exhaustive set of topics, broken in bite sized modules was exceedingly helpful. This is overlayed with modules on strategic insights backed by rationale - I believe these add value beyond the GMAT too. TTP was instrumental in my preparation. They have chapters covering every single little detail, and a huge number of questions to help solidify your understanding of any particular topic. The team at TTP is also very helpful, and they are quick at responding to doubts and queries. Most other places use a lot of technical jargon especially for verbal, but TTP's methods and techniques are way easier to follow and logical. I wouldn't recommend any other platform over TTP.

There's nothing like going to the exam and being super confident that you've covered EVERY SINGLE TOPIC in depth. TTP covers the end-to-end GMAT curriculum. There's a ready study plan to follow. The topics are systematically arranged: you start with the foundational topics and gradually move to the advanced ones. I learned the topics from first principles - beyond just knowing how to get questions right. TTP will teach you the concepts behind the questions. There are thousands of practice questions to ensure you're comfortable with each topic. If you're willing to put in the time and learn systematically, TTP surely is the way. For improvements, I would like more practice questions for the Verbal session. Probably the verbal CR chapters could be shortened. Some verbal CR lessons seemed repetitive.

TTP is a fantastic program and the only thing you need to get a GREAT GMAT score. The verbal section helped me refresh on all of the topics I needed from sentence correction and critical reasoning. They also have reading comprehension but I didn't do those sections. The quant section was the most helpful for me and I have no idea how I would have done it without their modules and tests. In fact, I didn't even complete the course and I don't know how long it would have taken me to achieve my 710 without TTP. I also know that if I were to take all the tests and read all the lessons, I for sure would have been 730+. I just happened to accept the 710 to take a break this application cycle.

When I first started my GMAT prep I had no idea TTP existed and planned to use a mix of different books/resources from a variety of providers. After getting the various materials together, I knew that I was in for a uphill battle and thought there must be a better way. Fortunately, I found TTP after some cursory searching for online programs. After spending more than six months and 500 hours with the product I don't believe there is anything better out there if you're self-motivated and can devote the time to go through the course. Having all the material you need in one place is invaluable and I thought the ability to create custom tests was absolutely essential when it came time to review after I finished the material.   I scored a 760 on the GMAT and while I think I could have scored even higher based on my mocks and performance on TTP, I'm happy with the results and can now focus on other aspects of my applications. Give yourself plenty of time by not setting an arbitrary date you need to take your test by. Things happen and in the end you're better off finishing the course and a sustainable pace without the added pressure of a looming test date. I managed to score a 720 on my second try. TTP was instrumental in helping me achieve this score. The program is very thorough and I found the extensive problem sets and quiz bank especially helpful in improving my weak areas. Can't recommend TTP enough for those who are deciding between programs!

This is a late post (seeing as that I took my GMAT last year) but I think it'll still be helpful to people studying for the GMAT to see how random the test can be sometimes!  Materials:  Quant: Target Test Prep, OG Guides Verbal: LSAT tests, OG Guides and a little bit of GMATNinja tutoring  Official Scores Attempt 1: 700 (Q48/V38 - 3 months of prep) Attempt 2: 680; cancelled (Q49/V33 - 1 month of extensive prep) Attempt 3: 740 Online (Q50/V40 - no prep; literally took the test 2 days after the 680 score)  Journey  So I started my GMAT prep last year in January. Coming from a liberal arts educational background, I thought I had verbal locked down and quant was all I needed to focus on. I turned to Reddit to find the best resources for quant, and it seemed like TTP was a good option (the reviews spoke for themselves!). As such, I bought the TTP course and slowly started working my way through it. Now, it took me a solid 2-3 months of prep but I gradually completed the ENTIRE quant course. Trust me when I say this, TTP is all you need for quant - it's super exhaustive and is more than enough to score a Q49+. I did use the Official Guides to drill on some of my weaker areas, but even then, TTP laid the foundation on which I built the rest of my prep. It wasn't easy by any stretch - the course is LONG!! I think I logged over 400 hours exclusively studying for quant (I was on break from school so I could afford to spend 4-5 hours everyday on GMAT prep). I also kept an error log and went back to the questions I got wrong every weekend.  I also want to give a special shoutout to Scott's motivational and strategy videos - a lot of people just ignore those but personally, I found them really useful. I particularly remember this one video where Scott suggested writing down your "Why" for taking the GMAT (higher salary, better career opportunities, making a difference, etc.). I wrote down my "Why" for the GMAT and stuck it above my desk - looking at it helped me stay motivated whenever I felt discouraged throughout the process. So I highly recommend doing that.  I wish I had more to offer by the way of advice but to be honest, all I can say is finish the TTP quant course - that's literally all you need to get a high score on the quant section. My final Q50 score is honestly just a result of drilling TTP and reviewing any OG questions I missed.  As for verbal, again, TTP is super helpful for reviewing the theory. Their verbal questions are pretty good but honestly, nothing comes close to the official questions. There's a reason why GMAC spends thousands of dollars on each question - they are extensively tested and no third-party questions come close. Looking back, I think I was overconfident in my verbal abilities in the beginning and exhausted almost all the official questions early on. I was doing reasonably well on the verbal practice questions - IIRC, I was scoring anywhere from V40 to 46 on the practice tests. However, My confidence was absolutely shattered when, on my first attempt, I scored a V38 (I was expecting a V45+). I didn't know what I was doing wrong and I was out of (almost) all official prep questions.  At this stage, I realized that I'd done everything I could have on my own and it was time to get expert help to figure out what I should do differently. As such, I sought tutoring from GMAT Ninja and worked with Harry for about 4 sessions (I was working on a budget and couldn't afford more than that). Even then, tutoring made a world of difference - having an expert sit beside you as you think about CR and RC questions is really helpful in figuring out where you're going wrong. For a month, Harry and I worked on my CR and RC strategy. Ultimately, I realized that even though I was really good at critical thinking, I was careless and made A LOT of silly mistakes. Harry did a great job in holding me accountable for my mistakes - his words "You're sloppy!" still ring in my head every time I do a CR question now. After about a month's prep, Harry and I thought I was ready to crush the GMAT.  Now, I don't know what went wrong but for some reason, I did worse on my second attempt than I did on my first - I scored an abysmal V33!! This was crushing, especially after spending all that time and money on my verbal prep. I didn't know what to do and almost thought of giving up. However, Harry was again really helpful - he jumped on a call with me (free of cost) and told me what I needed to hear: [b]I just had a bad day!{/b]. It happens to all of us and it's best to not take the score personally. So, long story short, I booked the next available slot, which was literally the day after I took my second test. It was low pressure since I was in a comfortable environment and it paid off! I ended up with a 740 (Q50/V40)!!!  My biggest lesson from this whole journey is honestly that sometimes, luck plays a bigger role than you may think! You can do everything right but not get the score you deserve entirely due to factors beyond your control. In cases like these, it's again best to not take things personally and keep at it! Slowly but surely, things will work out (as long as you put in the hard work). So, if you're someone who's not getting the score they deserve despite multiple attempts, hang in there friend! I started studying for the GMAT around December and took it in March. My goal was to knock the GMAT out before starting applications so I didn't have to juggle all the different application requirements with my full-time job.   The very first step I took was buy the GMAT Official Guide and take the diagnostic test. Although this isn't a graded exam, it was very helpful for me to understand what types of questions would be on my exam and a starting point for which concepts I needed to brush up on from high school (e.g., prime numbers, geometry, grammar rules). After that, I downloaded the practice questions online. My first piece of advice is to complete all the practice questions using the online platform GMAC uses for the exam to get acquainted with the software. You'll go through all the questions fairly quickly, and trust me, it's just a warm up.  Target Test Prep is where you are going to get into the meat of GMAT concepts and actually see an improvement in your score. Before this, I would recommend taking the first official GMAT test (can access for free with the Official GMAT books I believe) so you have a baseline score. I scored a 610 on my first try - it was a bit discouraging given my goal was 710+, which meant I needed a 100-point improvement. However, it didn't take me long to realize I would have a huge score jump from familiarizing myself with the concepts. TTP is great because you can take a diagnostic test and then have modules tailored to your weakest sections. One thing I had to force myself to do throughout my GMAT journey was to also continue practicing my strongest sections- these questions would be the ones I strove for 100% accuracy and gave me a strong basis for a good score.  So, as I mentioned earlier, TTP has a lot of modules for every core concept in math and verbal. It is overwhelming at first, but I approached it first by studying the section I was most confident in - math. After drilling down on each math concept (I did most of the modules to make sure I hit all the bases), I would practice a mix of medium and hard questions at the end of each module to ensure I had a grasp on the concept and was confident enough to move on. TTP allows you to even mix up questions among different modules so you can essentially make your own practice test of concepts you want to drill down on more. For the essay, TTP gives you the exact template you need to get a 6.0 on exam day. I scored a 6 on the essay both times I took the exam using their format.  After 4 months of studying, I got a 660 on my first attempt - this was much lower than the practice test scores I was getting (720-730) and I blame it on test anxiety. I hadn't experienced the testing center or took a practice test in a simulated environment. This was a turning point for me in my study patterns. I decided to schedule a test 3 weeks out (advice: minimize time between retakes so you don't forget concepts/strategies) and focus my improvement in reading comprehension and critical thinking, while maintaining math (in my experience, you eventually hit a ceiling for your math score) by continuing practice questions. I didn't focus on verbal as much my first time around because I thought there wasn't really a way to study for it - you were either naturally good at it or you shoot your shot. But this is FALSE. I used TTP's verbal modules to find very effective strategies for the different question types. Once I started doing the practice questions at the end of the modules using the strategies they taught me, I was pleasantly surprised to see they really worked. And to prove it, I saw a jump in my score from 660 to 760 by my next exam, largely due to verbal. This score was higher than any of my practice test scores! I owe it to the confidence TTP gave me.

The TTP team is honestly incredible. I often reached out with questions and explanations, and the staff would help explain things within a matter of hours.  I shopped around and couldn't have been happier with TTP. The interface is phenomenal, and the Quant is almost overkill which was so helpful. The actual GMAT exam felt easy for quant relative to what TTP had.

TTP is a great provider that teaches general concepts and fundamental/advanced skills that are vital for scoring well on the exam. I relied on TTP for math, and it taught me all the core information I needed to know for the GMAT. The platform includes hundreds (that felt like thousands, ha ha!) of practice problems that, if done all the way through, are wonderful at reinforcement. TTP also includes analytics with their service, which I found very helpful in identifying my weakest and strongest areas.   To me, TTP led to an easy transition into official GMAT problems (which were very different from TTP problems).

TTP is the highest-rated course and hence opted to enroll for TTP.  I used the platform for 2 months to complete the verbal section and a few chapters from quant. Soon after I gave my GMAT and got 740 (V42, Q49) To maximise the outcomes from TTP, I would recommend completing the course which might take up to 3-4 months.  The platform is beautifully designed and is very easy to use. I know a lot of people might not find this aspect very important, but when you're on a very tight timetable with a full-time job, it is essential that the platform engages you to sit for long hours. Another feature I liked was the timetable's customizability. I was able to enter the number of hours I wanted to dedicate on each of the days of the week and TTP created a timetable for me. Having a timetable to rely on is very important! Another feature I loved was the notes-making functionality. Anywhere on the course, whether that be inside chapters or practice tests, you can highlight key points/ sentences. You can also save questions you got wrong and leave a remark as to what went wrong. All these notes can be reviewed together on the 'Error log' page. This was my go-to page for revision before any mock. I used this even before my actual GMAT exam.   TTP is a very easy recommendation. All the best to all GMAT test takers!

TTP is very comprehensive and does an awesome job breaking down and explaining each topic. I felt very confident that I had covered all my bases after taking the course. It helped me effectively identify weak spots and address them quickly. While balancing work and studying, it was always nice to know all I had to do was find the time to login and I could trust the TTP process!

I chose to study with Target Test Prep after a friend of mine had recently gotten a 740 on the GMAT. Having not done well in previous standardized tests, I assumed a 740 was significantly higher than I would ever be able to achieve, and was curious what TTP could help me achieve.  I really liked the way they laid out the lessons, and how flexible it was to get through the course material. I studied pretty gradually over the course of about 9 months (with a few short breaks in the middle), and especially took my time learning the Quant materials since many of the GMAT quant concepts I hadn't studied since high school.  My first attempt was a 700, which was discouraging at first, but I then returned to TTP's strategy section and found it extremely helpful as well. It changed my approach to studying over the next month, and when I took the exam a second time, I got a 760 (Q50, V42, IR8, AWA6)! Really thrilled with the results, since this was higher than I even thought possible for myself when I began studying.  I would highly recommend using TTP. It has easy to follow lessons, flexible learning, lots of practice questions. I also enjoyed using their other tools around scheduling/tracking study time.

Target Test Prep is the best service in the business. At the start of my prep I thought I was overly ambitious when setting my target score to 750, but did not feel surprised at all when I surpassed it on test day. Prior to starting TTP I had tried both Magoosh and Manhattan Prep and struggled to attain a quantitative score of 40. I had exhausted all of the OG questions and was beginning to think a score of 650 was out of reach, let alone 700 +. Enrolling in TTP was the best decision I made. The course provides nearly 400 comprehensive lessons covering each subject that the GMAT tests. There are thousands of practice questions, and each lesson tests you throughout. I often find myself going on autopilot and skimming through textbook reading, but the interactive interface of TTP kept me engaged for the entirety of my journey. When test day arrived, I knew I had the skills necessary to achieve the score of my dreams, all I had to do was execute. TTP instilled in me the confidence necessary to score in the 99th percentile. Trust The Process! TTP is what you need to ace the GMAT!

Summary: Through TTP, I bumped my score from a 670 (initially 35V) to 770 (51Q/45V). TTP is the first tool I would recommend to anyone studying for the GMAT. TTP serves as a foundation that can layered with other resources as needed.   Strengths:   1) Quant: Covers everything you need for at least a Q50 in Quant. The lesson to practice test pacing is great. I did not feel unprepared for any conventional quant question on the test. 2) Verbal: Provides a great foundation for all three verbal subsections. The way to approach RC and CR questions is drilled into you repeatedly. I saw an immediate improvement in both question categories. - Overall: Provides great analytics to highlight weak areas. The material is dense with over 2000 practice questions. No other prep material is as detailed in its lessons and as extensive in the practice questions offered.  General:   Spending 15+ hours per week, it took me over 3 months to work through all of the material and practice questions. For a typical user, this material will most likely take you 4+ months to complete. The platform provides a structured approach to GMAT preparation. TTP offers the best Quant prep compared to any other test prep provider. While I had a strong math skillset to begin with, TTP helped me lock in a Q51 on 2/3 of the official tests I took. I'm convinced that anyone with some aptitude for math can score a Q50 through TTP alone if they put the work in. For Verbal, I felt TTP excelled at setting the correct mindset and approach for CR and RC. I believe SC is TTP's weakest aspect of the platform. TTP goes through all the core topics well for SC. However, there are not a lot of practice questions for SC and the practice questions that are given tend to be much harder than those seen on the actual test. While this can be ok for some, as someone who was weaker in SC, I felt that I had to complement my TTP learnings with questions from GMATClub and other question banks. I did not feel this same need for any other Quant or Verbal sub-section.   Despite the above, TTP is the first platform I recommend to anyone starting to study for the GMAT. It simply has everything. Post TTP, I got a Q51 on 2/3 actual tests. I got a perfect CR on one test and a perfect RC on another. I feel that these achievements are predominantly due to my learnings from TTP. While TTP helped me develop my SC skills, I needed other materials to help get me to a 98th percentile score for SC. I encourage others to do the same. TTP should serve as the foundational test prep on someone's GMAT journey, with other supplemental materials added when needed.

I was initially stuck at a plateau of 700/710 and had no idea how to improve the score when a riend suggested the TTP course. I took the 5 day trial and then the one month course and it was absolutely amazing! The curriculum is vey well structured and covers everything you will need. I mostly studied for verbal and only some concepts of maths but the course was ver in depth for both of the sections. I would reccommend it to anyone who aims to score 700+!

Target Test Prep was a lifesaver. I could have saved a year if I had just known that this amazing service existed. Initially, I was hesitant because it was an expensive resource given I belong to an economically poor country and the course was in dollars. But I pushed ahead when 3 people recommended the course. I am not one to study using written notes and primarily have used video lectures so far. But, TTP's simple and to-the-point instruction language was so helpful. The course truly teaches you every single thing you need to know. To drive full benefit please DO ALL THE QUESTIONS! There is a lot of repetition but it helps cement concepts.  To anyone who is still looking for where to start, search no more and start with TTP!

TTP is a wonderful product that helped me achieve a 700+ score over the course of 3 months. The study plan offered by TTP is extremely comprehensive and covers all the contents with great detail - both Quant and Verbal. It really helped me acquire the core skills that are required to succeed in the GMAT.
