Best Verbal course out there

I have been searching for a good verbal course for some time.I have tried Veritas and Manhattan courses earlier but still I felt like my verbal skills were not up to the mark and that reflected in my verbal scores where i was scoring around 25 only.
I had heard about e-gmat couple of times and after reading many reviews about it online ,finally decided to take the course. This is the best decision that i have taken for my verbal preparation. The course content of e-gmat verbal is very beautifully organised .The instructors are too the point and leave no stone unturned to explain a concept in depth. Most amazing part about the course was the discussion section for every question. In rare scenarios when you still have doubt why your answer was incorrect you can go through the dicsussion section below the question and indulge in root cause analysis of the question :)
E-gmat has enhanced the learning experience with Scholarium where you can create custom quizes to improve the weak areas .This has really helped me to improve my score in sentence correction section of verbal.
After completing this course I have seen around 15 points improvement in my verbal score which now oscillates around 40.
If you are looking for a verbal course, I would recommend you to take the plunge and use the e-gmat course .I am sure you wont regret it :)

Efficient, Practical and Straightforward

I'm taking the GMAT for the first time, and e-GMAT Quant Online has been extremely helpful in my studies. I've tried Manhattan GMAT Prep books (very high quality material, by the way), but e-GMAT is, by far, the best fit for me.

Some key attributes I enjoyed the most:

- Very simple, efficient and straightforward Concept Videos (objective, focus on practice application of the core concepts, very clear spoken english - a good aspect for non-natives);

- Great quizzes, with hard and well elaborated questions testing the core concepts of each topic;

- Easy-to-use platform;

- Great answer explanations (including explanations for OG and OG QR questions)

- Scholaranium is a great tool for practicing (organized, lots of good questions).

With e-GMAT Quant Online I could improve a lot my Quant skills, particularly in Geometry (which used to be my greatest weakness).

I recommend it for everyone who learns better through practice and wants an objective and very efficient online course.

e-GMAT Verbal Online Course concepts provide unique structured approach

For me giving GMAT was a more like going on a WAR. After spending 13 years in information technology industry it was really hard for me to be young and energetic again. During my initial days of preparation, I went through various study material to grasp the basic concept of the GMAT exam. However, after going through various books, I was still struggling to deconstruct RC and SC questions. There's too much theory in these books and eventually make excellent content a bit boring. On the other hand, one of the common factors that make any test taker score above 700 is their ability to master the Sentence Correction & Reading Comprehension. However, my OG SC/CR accuracy was only about 50% after I have studied extensively through those two books. In addition, I was not able to solve SC questions in under a minute; most SC questions took me about 3-4 minutes to solve. ANd most of the time I get bored reading long RC questions. Thus, I began to look for online courses that would help me improve SC/RC.

Luckily, I found e-gmat SC. First, I signed up for their free-trial, and after I finished it, I decided to purchase the SC course. I love the way that the course is structured. However, eGmat really help me understand those concepts when I HEAR and SEE them from an instructor. e-gamt's three-steps process really helps me understand how to approach SC systematically. M

Overall, I am very happy with the course, and I feel more confident about SC/RC. Thanks, e-gmat!

Pros:
- e-GMAT provides audio-visual content which clearly explains the concepts, beautifully deconstructs ALL types of RC/SC questions and demonstrates how to apply the same concepts to a real GMAT like problems. It was really helpful for old candidates like me.
- SC: Clear explanation of SC concepts with a post-assessment quiz. Attempting quiz online gives more test like an experience than working through the book.
- SC: Detailed explanations of all the questions. Individual questions are also answered promptly.
- RC: Reading Comprehension concept files are really awesome and corrected my thought process.
- CR: Critical reasoning concepts improved chances of getting 700+ level question correct in one go.
- The best course for native speakers.
- Quick response support team, even though there is a time difference. Your issues get resolved within 12 hrs time.
- Finally, my SC/RC accuracy and speed has improved greatly.

Cons:
- e-Gmat team needs to move to an advanced platform to make the course available on portable devices. I was unable to find any short Timing Strategy courses for an individual topic.
- Needs more flexible and smooth integration of the forum with the concept files.
- Finally, there are some questions that are not GMAT format, but they are still helpful because they reinforce the concepts.
- In the mobile world, the courses are not accessible on portable devices like iPad or iPhone.

E-gmat is the best thing that has happened to my GMAT preparation. At start of my study, I was overwhelmed and afraid because i didn't know where to start from with my preparations. I went online to search for help and after a week of search, I found E-gmat and I can tell you that this course was worth every penny. The webinars are awesome and most times feels like you're in a real classroom from the comfort of your home.

The live prep classes are interactive and you get to learn things you never paid attention to, the quants are amazing I must tell you. I surely would recommend this to anyone serious about passing the GMAT because this gives you absolute value for your money.

Mock Exams Scores Drastically Improved after 2 failed attempts on GMAT real exams

February 2, 2018

I paid over $1,500 for GMAT prep with Veritas Prep in San Diego and my GMAT score did not improve at all after two attempts which almost made me give up on my MBA ambition. I scored well below 600 (quant + verbal) after attending all classes with Veritas Prep which was a huge disappointment and embarrassment after all the materials I went through. I needed a new direction on how to nail the GMAT and get into a good business school.
My dear friend Raj referred me to e-GMAT and after attending some of the free webinars led by Rajat Sadana, I became very pleased, re-energized and was ready to study again for my GMAT to revive my MBA ambition again. Thanks to Raj as I have registered with e-GMAT and studying for the GMAT exams at a cost far less than Veritas Prep and other Institutions but gained more confidence and accuracy in answering level 700 questions.
Personally, e-GMAT has provided me the fundamental concepts I have been looking for through thoroughly prepared online videos covering both verbal (SC, CR and RC) and quant (Geometry, Number Properties, Algebra and Advance word problems) sections of the GMAT. The most important of all is the numerous quizzes and drills I take after learning the fundamental concepts of each section with I never had through Veritas Prep. This has increased my confidence in answering most of quant and verbal questions, accuracy and speed as well.
I can confidently pre-think assumptions very quickly and logically to answer critical reasoning questions with confidence and ease which I used to struggle with and now a non-issue for me.
Through the online videos and the weekend live sessions, I have seen my quant and verbal scores improved drastically and I am hoping to have a 720+ score on the real test as the preparation I have achieved through e-GMAT has equipped me with the tools and skillset needed to ace the real exams.
Thank you e-GMAT for all the efforts in putting together such efficient, wonderful, informational and educational online videos for all underlying GMAT concepts covering both the verbal and quant sections of the GMAT. Additionally, I love the weekend live sessions that empowers interactions from all students across the globe to solve questions. On a scale from 1-10, my score rating for e-GMAT is 10/10 and my favorite instructor is Payal Tandon but admire all the instructors for their hard-work and dedication in helping students improve their respective GMAT scores and getting into competitive business schools globally.
I hope my personal statement will motivate or encourage some of you out there who have lost hope in getting better GMAT scores. Please go e-GMAT and it will not disappoint you but will rather help you get better GMAT scores and getting into your dream business school.

Most Structured Way of Learning Verbal

I am engineer and as with most engineers i had strong Quants(50) but a weak verbal(24) which is why ended up with a 620. It was then that one of colleague recommended e-GMAT Verbal Prep which is the most structured way of learning Verbal. As an engineer i like things which are progressive and in structured manner. This exactly what e-GMAT Prep verbal provides you with. It gives a proper order of learning concepts in the order of difficulty. For example the e-gmat sentence correction starts from basic sentence structure , then goes to subject- verb agreement and then finally into more difficult topics like modifiers and verb tense. The questions themselves first teach you the process to approach the question and then gradually increase its difficulty to GMAT level. Its easier to grasp concepts with the audio-visual's then hard copy. My confidence in sentence correction has increased tremendously. I like their way of handling RC as well. The strategy described by them to avoid reading a passage twice. I would definitely recommend the Course material to the my friends.

e-GMAT is all you need to score above 700

January 30, 2018

I took my first attempt at GMAT in 2014 and scored Q39 & V31. Even though I was hitting around Q45 and V36 in my mocks, it was a drastic drop in performance and score. I prepared on my own primarily using Manhattan books for both Quant and Verbal.
Fast forward to Nov 2017 and I started my GMAT preparations once again. But this time I was equipped with a different set of tools. I opted for E-GMAT (out of 3 other companies) based on the reviews. I bought the Complete LIVE Prep and instantly knew that I made the right choice. Each topic has a pre-quiz, detailed content, post -quiz, application quiz and a practice quiz in that order. This is followed by a list of OG questions on the same topic for additional practice. So it makes sure we are completely thorough by the time we move on to the next topic.
The interactive course modules have been laid out well and they are short and crisp (about 20-30 min long). There have been instances where I have taken those modules during my office hours. They are supported on my iPad and it made my learning experience much more easier. The only problem that I found here was that the e-learning modules did not run in Chrome/Safari and it works only with Puffin browser.
Talking about the course content, Quant covers all the required topics well with clear-cut explanations. I dont think even the Manhattan books give you a good explanation on Probability & Combinations as good as e-GMAT. I just enjoyed that bit. And regarding verbal, I don't think e-GMAT needs any more reviews talking about how effective it is.
The strategies employed to tackle CR & SC work wonders for me. At first, i used to deviate from the process when solving practice problems. And when I made sure I stick to the process no matter what, I took about 5 min for each question with 85+ accuracy. Now I have reduced it to about 2.5- 3.5 min for each question and I am still working on it.
All I am focusing on now is practice. I can already see the improvement jump in my scores from Q39 to Q48-49 and V31 to V38 -39 in my mocks. I am aiming for a Q50 and V40 and I am overly confident that I can hit them with more practice. This is where Scholaranium comes in handy. It has about 1000 questions in Quant and 900 questions in Verbal. Scholaranium is where you can cement the knowledge gained through e-learning modules. In addition to this, I had the option of Live sessions but since I was a bit occupied on weekends with family chores, I was able to give only one session. However, I do have access to recordings of those live sessions and I randomly play them through on my lazy days.
e-GMAT gives you a wealth of tools to tackle the GMAT.
If you are serious on GMAT to break the 700 and if you are ready to put in the effort and sacrifice, then I can guarantee that e-GMAT is all you need!!

Hello, I want to write about e-Gmat club. I entered Gmat exam once and my score was 580. When I studied Gmat exam, I could not figure out the concept and key parts of exam. After I started to study with E-gmat, I realized that I had missed the most important key parts about Gmat exam.

It is really important for me because I really have limited time. That's why, studying all lessons with e-Gmat, I got many useful information, tips and key features about exam.

In addition, I really enjoy when I study with E-Gmat because lessons are very fluent and every lesson I learn new tips about exam. Especially, quizzes are very useful for me. I can test myself thanks to these quizzes.

I do not enter Gmat exam after first time. However, I have solved many pilot test about Gmat exam and my calculated scores generally are average of 630. It is an incredible achievement for me.

e-GMAT Quant

I took e-GMAT online course for its awesome Verbal section. But when I went on the its quant section just to try a couple of free sections I realized how different e-GMAt quant was from many other. I immediately took the complete package and the remaining was a fun ride.

eGMAT is designed to extremely interactive. The Quant Online is not a course meant to be just get done with. It is designed in a way to make sure that you remember the concepts for times to come. I have been able to complete the course and during my practice sessions, keeping a score stable in the range of 45-49. It is absolutely essential to keep timing of your practice sessions as well, because on the D-Day, such will be the conditions.

I feel quite confident today in getting a high score. I will take the exam in two weeks and have already improved my score on the mocks from 600s to 720s +.

e-GMAT quant has been a worthwhile investment. I strongly recommend it. You will improve your understanding of each section and will have the opportunity to practice as many exercises as you can with the Scholarium (e-GMAT Database). If you have a chance just try the free trial and you will notice the difference.

Thank you e-GMAT for all your help, availability and support!

I stumbled upon, e-gmat through its one of the seminars. I took its Rc webinar, and points specified in it, itself helped me take my Rc accuracy from 72 to 88%. With such a dramatic improvement I started taking its webinars on regular basis, including Quant. Realized that if just 30 min webinar can improve my performance what would the entire course would do?! I enrolled for the course and started as per the study plan provided, not only it's effective I also had a lot of fun going through this learning phase. Due to my last minute health issues and personal problems, i couldn't practice well the last month. I would definitely recommend all to take this course.

eGMAT Best for Verbal (especially Sentence Correction)

January 23, 2018
  • Teacher: Rajat Sadana, Payal Tandon
  • Recommended forVerbal: Yes  Math: No
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: N/A After: 750

To give you bit of a background I am a Chemical Engineer and work in production department of a fertilizer producing company. I have scored 750 in my first attempt of GMAT and have converted ISB Hyderabad. I wanted to thank eGMAT for this decent score and thus palnned to write this testimonial.

Since I am a chemical engineer the main problem which I encountered during my preparation was that I work in shifts with Wednesday as my weekly off. I didn't have so called weekends at my disposal. Moreover after each Wednesday my work timings change from 6 AM to 2 PM or 2 PM to 10 PM or 10 PM to 6 AM on a rotational basis. To put in simple terms there is a weekly change in my work timings so I had to factor in these constraints while preparing for GMAT.

I enrolled for eGMAT on February 28th and gave my exam on June 21. eGMAT being an online course gave me the flexibility which I wanted and was my best bet in that scenario. I chose eGMAT on recommendation of one of my close friend.

Sentence correction(SC) was my weakest section and that's where I think there is nothing better than eGMAT modules. They have done such an extensive research on this topic for each slides of sentence correction. I prepared my personal notes for each slides for future reference. I did not mug up each and every rule which they provide to be frank but I used to just skim through my notes on a weekly basis and also just before attempting a mock. This in my opinion ingrained those rules in my subconscious and I can say this with conviction because my accuracy with SC gradually increased.

For Critical Reasoning (CR) section initially going through the strategies stated by eGMAT was absolutely necessary for me. The segregation which eGMAT has done on the basis of question type is commendable for CR section and in turn it familiarised me with the CR section. But for CR section my opinion is once you get familiarised with the type of questions that are asked, the best way to improve it is through practice where the Scholaranium designed by eGMAT comes into picture. It is a test taking platform where one can customise and decide the amount of questions, the topics one wants to attempt and the time frame in which one wants to attempt it.

Coming to the Reading Comprehension (RC) part, along with eGMAT modules reading books is essential. Though eGMAT modules can help you get familiarised with this section but they can do as much since this section requires alot of patience with gradual improvement and no magic wand can give you sudden grip on it. In my opinion best way out in RC section is constant reading and then practice.

For Integrated Reasoning (IR) section I just read eGMAT material two weeks before the test. Though I could not score well in IR in the actual exam but my score does not reflect the value of the modules of eGMAT since I used to score 7 and above in my mocks and there was strategical error on my part during the exam which lead to just 4 in the actual test.

In short I can say eGMAT's Verbal online program is a well though out and researched one and the modules especially SC ones are Gold Dust. I highly recommend this course to the aspirants.

420 and getting better

January 23, 2018
  • Teacher: Went through the Concept Files and Quizzes
  • Recommended forVerbal: Yes  Math: Yes
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 470 After: N/A

Initially l started with Manhattan GMAT during my prep.
I read all the books and quite frankly felt like l knew a lot about the individual sections from Quant Trig ratios to Verbal
sentence correction. I especially liked the books at the time because it seemed like an easy reference to go back to during moments of lack of clarity. However, l still felt like something was missing as l would take some GMAT practice tests and my scores were in the 420-520 range and l couldnt figure out what l was doing wrong.
I have now figured out that even though it seemed like l knew a lot, once a different version of the same question was posed l would be thrown off so my conceptual understanding of the topics was not as strong as it needed to be.
I researched more on how to get better, l read several reviews on GMAT club and finally settled on e-GMAT.

I must say l made the best decision in my prep so far. I especially like the quizzes during each course sub section to review your understanding of a particular topic whether it be in Nouns, or Phrases or in Parallelism.
e-GMAT's verbal online course is well suited for anyone whether you are already a master in the verbal section and need a refresher or you are a beginner/non-native. For me l fall somewhere in-between and l have found it very helpful in illuminating my weak areas due to the methodical nature of the courses(Concept Files) and the constant way the quizzes test your understanding of the prior topic.

My journey continues as l have not achieved my dream score but l feel am on the right track!

Best Verbal Preparation for GMAT even for native English Speakers

Verbal Online from E-GMAT is probably one of the best on-demand questions sets available on the net today. As a native English speaker, you may think you're good at sentence correction, critical reasoning and reading comprehension based on you're ability hear sentences out. But as go onto learn, sentence correction is more than just looking at a sentence and finding the correct one. There's actual techniques and mechanical ways to go about completing sentence correction. E-GMAT starts with the basics and develops your understanding of not only SC but also Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. They're further expand and teach you the tips and the tricks to do well.

If you can get past the English accent, the videos are very valuable and provide lots of content which other competitors miss. I've tried other competitor's verbal lessons and questions, but nothing comes close to official questions similar to GMAT. Though the questions for some sections may seem harder than official GMAT questions, it is definitely worth it as when you do OG questions, they become much easier as you have a better grasp of the mechanics that go into the questions.

I have recommended E-GMAT and will continue to do so to all my fellow GMAT colleagues and aspirants.

Hi, I am a student for e-GMAT for Verbal live prep and Quant Online course. Here is quick feedback on the service:-
The online prep option has a good feedback mechanism which involves Pr-assessment of the concept, Concept and then Post Assessment. This mechanism allows you to correct your conceptual gaps and track your improvement using the analytical system. For the Verbal live Prep:- I liked the structure of the course. One area of improvement for the team would be to have demo classes outside of the regular classes.

Last but not least: the support team is quick and readily responds to any issues who may be facing.

A Terrific Investment

I took the E-GMAT Quant Online after I had subscribed to their excellent Verbal Online Prep. As expected the quant course is very well structured and excellent for people who don't have a quant heavy background. That is not to say that the course is not useful for students who have an intensive-quant background. I took up the Gmat preparation after 5 years in service and the course got me up to speed with the format of the GMAT, the structure of the questions and the quickest methods to solve problems. In the next couple of sections, I will explain what worked for me and what I did not like in the course offering.

Quant-Online

Course Structure
The Structure of the course is super-easy to follow and makes for an interesting read. People who want to brush their knowledge of a certain topic will find the course structure really easy. One can pick up individual topics and follow the sequence to go thru the theory, the application files and the practice questions to gain a complete understanding. Further, the comfort of doing the course at your own pace and in your own time is a really great option.

Course Concepts and Questions

The course breaks down tough concepts into easy to understand videos and slides. Before starting the course, I knew I had trouble with algebra. The online courses on algebra are excellent and it gave me a firm grip on the subject. The Number Properties Course, Probability and P&C are also excellent courses. The course gets down to the basics and helps to build the concept right from the ground up. Because of the course's focus on the basics, complemented with GMAT-like questions, I thoroughly recommend the course to people who are short on time.

Scholaranium

Scholaranium is the Gold-Standard of analysis. Those who have used the Verbal Online prep are aware of the usefulness of the Platform. The Quant online Scholaranium is quite detailed and really gives you an idea about your weaknesses and helps you prepare by practising more questions of a certain type. The scholaranium has the option of letting you choose between Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard questions. The Easy, Medium and Hard Categories are true representations of the Questions on the GMAT. However, I felt that the Very Hard Category Questions are long and difficult questions that I can't imagine to solve within the stipulated timeline of 2mins/questions. The rest of the questions are really great and these are some of the toughest questions you will ever find. I would go a step further and also liken the questions standards to the Quant Questions on the GMAT Club. Scholarannium also provides a detailed solution with an ability to bookmark and review the questions.

Quant Workshops
The Quant workshops are tests conducted by the E-Gmat team. These tests give you a detailed feedback on your strengths and weaknesses. This is a must-try for anyone who is looking to improve his/her score.

All in All, I wholeheartedly recommend the course to students. The course is flexible enough to adapt the different requirements and will truly help you understand the areas of improvement.

GMAT is a very analytical test and it pays to know and understand the concepts. Before E-Gmat verbal most of my the question I solved in verbal were mostly guesses and obviously my accuracy and confidence in the answers was really low. E-Gmat verbal course provided me the confidence in my answers which definitely reflected in the scores as well.

The most important aspect of this course is application of concepts and tons of practice the E-gmat platform provides. During the course whenever a new concept is taught, there are ample of questions to apply those concepts in various questions.

Also, one interesting feature of E-gmat is they provide question numbers based on each topic from official GMAT guide. That way I was able to understand my weak points in different topics within verbal sections and worked hard to improve on that.

For a non-native speaker, E-gmat verbal is definitely the one of the best courses out there for GMAT.

My experience with e-GMAT's Quant Live Prep

Ive been using eGMATs Quant Live Prep for 3 months now and have seen a drastic improvement in my accuracy. Their coveted scholaranium, remains the best tool available in the market to track your performance. It is hands down the sole reason why I recommend their courses to almost everyone who is starting their gmat journey. Ive reached out to Payal multiple times for both verbal and math for strategy rather than concept, which are anyway very well explained through videos, and her advice at each point has helped me refine my strategy. Fingers crossed for D day and best of luck to those who are sailing in the same boat.

Quantitative section of e-gmat is well designed keeping in view the effective learning requirements for GMAT. The video lectures (concept files) lucidly capture the entire quantitative spectrum. Advanced topics such as probability, permutation and combination, etc. have been dealt in detail. Further, Number properties material is comprehensive and spans the scope nicely. I liked the methodology of teaching through initial test, concepts and then tests post learning. Scholaranium platform is effective for concept building as well as for timed practice. Live lectures on weekends are suited for working professionals and help in maintaining pace with the preparation.

Those who strives for Quant-50 or more should go for it and may rely on it as single window solution.

Fantastic Tutors and a Fantastic Experience

The whole experience of learning for the Verbal Segment with E-Gmat was very good. Shraddha's classes were par excellence.
She took the extra time to ensure all concepts were clearly understood by all the attendees. Post the classes, her explanations to any unresolved query were also very good.
The other segments of the Verbal Prep are very good and do help in the overall preparation for the GMAT.
Format of the Scholaranium also helps to keep a track of your improvement as the course progress.
Kudos to the team at E-GMAT for creating such a tool.
