My friend who had scored 770 on GMAT asked me to attend a free webinar from Rajat Sadana for Quant. Its one of the best time investment I made in preparing for GMAT. I was already good at Quant and was getting a score of 48, but wanted to get to 50-51. After seminar, I immediately signed up for course.

Key Features:

a. If you hate Quant , DO NOT Worry- E-gmat will teach you course in a real fun way. There are video modules for each topic and trust me Quant will become your friend. Also you will have assessment after each module

b. Online- Forum Support- Exceptional. When I post my doubts, e-gmat replies to me within 2-3 working days and in the most detailed manner you can every imagine.

c. Mental Support: When i write any query to e-gmat expert, I feel like I am talking to my family. Krishna specially helped me so much in reviewing my gmat exam strategy and Rajat always available to answer any query via any channel.

I scored 50 in quant in my last GMAT attempt and I know e-gmat will always be on my MBA success story.

The best course for non-natives!!

Verbal Online by e-GMAT is the best online course especially for non-natives. The course material is excellent & has a unique approach to cracking the verbal section. The course teaches you to crack the verbal using a well-defined and easy process. This is the key differentiator over other courses. CR course with emphasis on logical structure, pre-thinking and techniques like ABC test, negation test, variance test is very strategic & helped me to tackle most difficult CR passages with ease & save a lot of time too. The 3-step process in SC is an eye-opener. Understanding the meaning of the sentence & applying the steps in the right way I was able to reduce the time I take to solve each SC question. The RC section helps you to break down any complex passage and solve them with ease. I even upgraded to a Verbal Live Prep after taking this course. I would highly recommend e-GMAT to anyone who wants to crack the verbal section in GMAT.

e-GMAT Verbal is a must before any one takes GMAT

e-GMAT has got a specific course pattern which helps to drill down to root level of each topic and grow your understanding. It helped in getting hold of the points that are commonly ignored and we eventually end up making mistakes. The course consists of videos for every topic in the Verbal section for the GMAT. The videos explains the topics in detail, unveils the area prone to mistakes and provides a concrete explanation on how to tackle them. It helped me to attempt the Verbal questions in a structured manner , which avoided missing some basic rules.

The part that has constantly helped me is that, the course had explanation with multiple examples that actually stays in mind. One can actually relate them while solving any of the Verbal Question. Each Verbal topic has a set of questions to test the knowledge before attending the video and after attending it.

The test prior to the topic video, tells you how much you need to improve, then when you go through the video you get to know where you were making the mistake, why you tend to make the mistake and lastly how to tackle them. This grows your interest if you are not, and it was like strengthening your roots all over again.

Post the video is the topic assessment that tests your skills and you also have explanations for each question that are elaborate, worthwhile to figure out how and where we went wrong. There are different sets of question to practice and topic wise OG question as well. I would strongly recommend e-GMAT to everyone , as it helped me improve my Verbal skills and gave clarity to the topics that I faced difficulties. It gave me confidence because some areas like Reading Comprehensions, few topics n Critical Reasoning where something I was always afraid to attempt prior to taking up e-GMAT Verbal courses.

I seriously felt that the classroom course provided by others is not required if one can avail the e-GMAT course.
Another great aspect of taking e-GMAT is you get to attend free webinars both Verbal and of Quant. These are done mostly in weekends. The content of the topic is well illustrated and these could be availed if you subscribe e-GMAT, irrespective of what course you opt for.

It was indeed very helpful !!

Key Learning from Course

I registered for the egmat verbal live course after attending a free webinar by Rajat Sadana, in which he told two steps for pre-thinking an assumption. Earlier i was very dreadful about CR and RC because of my low score in GMAT i.e. V20, but after learning proprietary ways to pre think assumption for CR and 7 reading strategy for RC, my accuracy increased drastically in both. Although i was relatively better in SC, my accuracy in SC always hovered around 65-75%. Leveraging the meaning in SC rather than just concentrating on grammar was really a score booster. My accuracy in SC increased to 80-90%. Main strong suit of the egmat is that instructors throughout the course focus on concept and process rather than techniques.

I found my perfect fit in eGMAT Verbal Online Course

January 10, 2018

Hello!!

I found e-GMAT to be a perfect fit for my GMAT prep. It was like a puzzle piece that was missing in my preparation. To give some context to why I believe i have written the description below.

I have an engineering background. So Maths was not a problem for me. Through some revision and some practice I was able to score 48 -49 in GMAT mock papers (in Kaplan, Varitas and GMAT Prep.. but not Manhattan). Still I was struggling with verbal.

I had planned self prep for GMAT, which meant reading form GMAT OG and giving Mock Tests. Soon i realized that with every SC question my interpretation of the correct answer was changing, which was not a good sign. This meant that I was forming the grammatical concepts based on my interpretation of GMAT answers.

After going through e-GMAT, I found a step by step process of understanding the given sentence, noting the pause points and then eliminating the incorrect options. Similarly for CR and RC I found the right process through which enabled me to improve my score drastically.

I have recommended this course to most of my friends now, I hope it will help them as it did to be.

I am yet to appear for my GMAT, but the resources of E-GMAT are very comprehensive and upto date.
The focus of the course never shifts away from the core understanding of the concepts which is the most important part in the preparation. The design of the course takes care of the understanding and the sequence you should follow for your preparation and you can trust it and follow it without worrying about a separate plan for your prep. Also, I would recommend everyone to make sure that they go through the explanation of each and every answer after attempting it regardless of the answer as it would help you in following the best possible method to answer questions.

The free resources and webinars are a plus which give you a snapshot of their live programs. Due to time and other constraints I was not able to sign up for that, but would highly recommend it to fellow colleagues who want to max their score in the best way possible.

Best of luck to anyone who finds this review helpful.

e-GMAT saves the day

I am really very grateful to the e-GMAT team in coming up with such a comprehensive program for every section of the GMAT exam. I had tried every prep book one could find in the market -kaplan,manhattan ,veritas etc and was still struggling to improve my score beyond V36 and Q48. I felt though i had hit a wall and could not break it. My best friend had taken this course and got a 730 in his GMAT and that's how i came to know about e-GMAT and my colleague scored a 740 after studying from e-GMAT for just a month. So I thought that since i have tried so many preps,i might as well give this a shot. I had no idea what a amazing ride i would be having for the next 2 months exploring each and every nook and corner of this thorough program. I had initially had bought only the Verbal live course but within a week i bought the rest of the courses as well. I feel e-GMAT gave me hope , and i am sure there are thousand of students like me out there. For students like me hard work is not a problem but finding proper guidance is. While watching each and every course video on e-GMAT, solving the problems given in the course list and sticking to a plan creating by e-GMAT i felt my standard improve slowly but surely. In fact i was actually surprised to see my I.R score improve as well after following e-GMAT's approach - this is something i did not even consider focusing on ! I would like to mention Shraddha ma'am especially for helping me out with S.C questions. After i gave the GMAT prep practice test i used to post the troublesome questions on the forum and she used to take time and answer each one of them patiently . In fact there was a time when she actually found a pattern in my mistakes that came as a surprise to me. From then I stared enjoying working on S.C as a result and always score in the 90% since then. Another aspect of e-GMAT i would like to point out is the Scholaranium. I am depended on this tool so much that i rarely touched the practice questions from Gmat prep. It is the BEST tool out there for GMAT preparations! My skills improved to such an extent that i started finding silly mistakes even in the correct answer option of the actual GMAT test prep tool - this is documented on e-
GMAT's form. I cannot thank Rajat and his team enough in giving hope to me.

In my opinion the e-gmat quant and verbal courses are a must have for anyone who plans to take the gmat at any point in future. I have an engineering background and had a false belief about my quant skills , but wasn't very confident with the verbal section of the gmat. Therefore, I took the e-gmat verbal online course only. This improved my verbal score immensely but my quant performance was below par. After the exam I understood that there were fundamental conceptual gaps in the way I approached quant and, therefore, decided to subscribe to quant online section of e-gmat course too before I retook my gmat exam again.
My gmat exam is scheduled on 2nd feb and I feel much better prepared for the exam now.I am confident that I will be able to achieve my target score this time and if so,I will give the course full credit for it. Hopefully I will get back with my second review with my target gmat scores and give a comprehensive detail on how the course steered and guided me to my destination.(Time to get back to the course now.....see you all soon.:-))

Good Method Of Learning

talking about GMAT course i already try 1 online and 2 offline course before EGMAT. From other three course (2 offline and 1 online course) i feel that i still have many things to learn especially basic things but i don't know where can i find the course that provide me with not only lots of practice but also basic lessons that i can understand. Then i follow my friend recommendation to try EGMAT, first i try the free trial the i took the online course package because i feel that this course provide me with not only the basic lessons, practice but also other feature that can help me in my GMAT journey. here are the benefit that i feel i got from this course :

1. Effective method of learning
EGMAT provide you with a video lessons that teach topic cover in GMAT so you don't need to look else where to find it. They also organize it in a way that easy to use and understand. The things that i find help me most is that in every subject i can find 4 things arrange methodically :
A. Lessons Video about the topic
B. Application Quiz
C. Practice Question
D. Official Guide Question List specific only for that topic

2. Flexibility
Because the course is an online course i can manage my learning session in my own pace. other online course also have flexibility but if youre going to spend money and time for online course i really recommend EGMAT because their material is great and presented very well.

3. Scholaranium
For now i only used this feature to track which subject that i already good at and which topic to cover. EGMAT do this through tracking every quiz that you take and give you dashboard about your skill data which is a nice feature to track your development.

i still study and will take my second try on GMAT next month (February 2018). for those who looking for a good online course to prepared for GMAT. i really recommend this course. good luck.

I chose e-gmat because I read some reviews on a portal like this and it was totally worth it! It is a lengthy course but really shapes your frame of mind to really understand the gist of everything, be it SC, RC, or CR passages. Their core strength is to focus on the meaning of the sentence or a passage and they drill that into you through successive practice quizzes and application quizzes. The cour is structured in a methodical manner which starts from easy exercises to much-advanced GMAT like questions which then allow you to apply the skills you need to master a certain area in the GMAT.

Further, the scholaranium helps you create multiple ability quizzes that lets you focus on your weak areas and bring them to the desired level. Now nothing comes easy, as I said that its long course but with determination and practice you can walk through the path and come out on the other side as a better GMAT taker. I totally recommend this course for anyone stuck under V30! All the best!

Videos provided by e-GMAT made them a whole lot of fun. In fact, the way they have explained each and every concept and methods for cracking SC/CR/RC are way too good and easy to understand. Their verbal course is enough for scoring 700+ score provided you go through each and every video tutorial thoroughly. I will always recommend E-GMAT to my friends.

eGMAT one stop for GMAT verbal preparation

I have tried many courses but eGMAT has rightly put across a strategic way for verbal preparation.

I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every module of sentence correction and Critical reasoning online course.
The course taught in sentence correction is very methodical in a way that one can grasp all the concepts that are needed to equip oneself with strong foundation of grammatical concepts .
Each concept module starts with very basics and step by step takes the student to an advance level.
The only thing a GMAT student should do is to spend quality time in thoroughly understanding what has been taught in Sentence correction concepts.

For critical reasoning the pre-thinking is highlight among all, through which one can crack assumption, strengthener, weakener and evaluate questions in no time.

Reading comprehension's 7 key reading strategies are must that student can very well apply not only in RC but also in CR .

I would say that the eGMAT online course did the best among the various other courses i have taken

Very clear course structure and ensured improvement

As a preliminary point, I would like to thank e-GMAT for their amazing support and the opportunity to extend my subscription till my GMAT date free of charge!

I have always been struggling with the GMAT and after a discouraging score (in the mid-500s) in my first official GMAT, I decided to attack my weak areas. I started off with a verbal score of V20 and had an ongoing problem to solve CR and RC questions in a timely manner. Not only did I not use a methodical approach to tackle CR and RC questions but also unnecessarily reread parts of an argument or passage several times.

Determined to improve my score, I searched for proven ways to improve and took notice of the e-GMAT verbal course. Consistently positive reviews on GMAT forums and a comparably reasonable price reinforced my decision to give the course a try.

As far as the verbal course is concerned, the course is very well structured and gives you a clear-cut course right a the beginning. While going through the Master Comprehension part I was able to immediately detect my "failure points" - the reason why I couldn't grasp the meaning was simply that I employed the obviously wrong reading strategies. Moreover, the course gave me the required insights to analyze my mistakes and overcome the most common pitfalls. Now I understand why apparently correct and enticing answer choices are fundamentally incorrect - something I could not properly understand while studying on my own.

All in all, I have spent the last 6 months part-time (due to work) going through the concept files and diligently practicing in Scholaranium (e-GMAT's practice and analysis section). I have not retaken the actual GMAT yet, but my practice tests scores in the verbal section have gone up significantly (my best score was V37 until now) and I'm confident to improve a little further (perhaps I can break the V40? :-)).

Best course for non native English speakers

December 20, 2017
  • Teacher: Online course
  • Recommended forVerbal: Yes  Math: Yes
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 570 After: 700

I am a typical Indian gmat aspirant from IT background. I am not at all an avid reader and I come from a vernacular medium schooling. I took gmat in June 2017 and I scored 570 (Q48 V19) a complete disaster. I was so worried that I did not even looked at the gmat sites for three days. Then all of a sudden I came to know about e-GMAT verbal online. Then I started my homework about the course. I read lot of reviews. I finally tried trial of e-GMAT verbal and in a day I felt the course is for me. So I bought e-GMAT verbal online. Let me go through the course structure before commenting on the course.
The verbal is divided into five sections.
1. Master comprehension
This section teaches you how to read effectively. Even if you are not a regular reader you can still make meaning out of the hardest sentence you have ever come across. That is the beauty of this part. It makes you effective reader within few hours of practice sessions. After this session you know where to take pause, how to break long sentence and when to stop to conclude.
2. Sentence correction
This part is the best part of the course. It tells you what gmat expects and what grammar you need to know. Slowly it covers all the aspects of the GMAT, it covers all the topics from basic parts of sentence to Idioms in the end. The presentation is precisely created to make person of any background feel comfortable. Before every topic there is assessment quiz that marks our current level. After every topic there is a post assessment which concludes our understanding of the subject. All the GMAT topics are very well covered with side notes and markers. For every quiz question there is detail video explanation that helps us to understand the solution and effective way to solve the question. I am completely benefited with this SC course. I can now solve 10 questions out of 15 without spending a minute.
3. Critical reasoning
Once again the basics are very well explained. How to tackle any CR problem and with what framework is explained and this really helps us in solving the CR questions in test. Theory is very well simplified and elaborated with appropriate diagrams and animation :D. The best part of the CR course is what are trap answers and how to avoid them is demonstrated. This course teaches us to think like creator of GMAT.
4. Reading comprehension
RC starts from the basics how to read and how to conclude from the reading. What to do when difficult topics are encountered. I literally read news papers with this strategy and it helps there too.
Main point lessons are my favorite lessons. Then there are inferences and structure, details sections which covers the neglected topics in RC. This boosts the confidence while solving RC questions.
5.IR
IR part gives in and out information you need to solve IR questions. It goes at such a deep level that it explains each and every type of graph you may encounter in actual gmat.
Last but not least Scholaranium is the best practice platform with actual analytics to point out weak and strong areas in questions. Once you know where to improve you can spend more time to perfect your verbal.

I'm really grateful to e-gmat team for their efforts and continuous support I have received. I now score 700 in ep1 test.
EGMAT is for those who really want to improve their verbal score in gmat.

From 700 to 730

GMAT1-700(Q-50,V-34)
GMAT2-730(Q-50,V-38)

After 2 months of preparation, My GMAT Prep Scores were 690 and 740 . Actual GMAT Score ,700, was not what I was expecting. I think the most important issue with me was the jitters because of time. In prep exam you have an option to pause and even if you give a wrong answer, its not the end. But during exam i just froze.

So i decided to give it a shot another time .I had a ton of material but that was not the issue. Issue was the explanations and logic for most of the problems were not logical rather needed to be crammed. Although end result is same but the approach was all wrong. So i knew I need to approach the questions rightly.

So I started going through Online courses and finally decided to choose E-gmat. I wasn't disappointed at all as not only each and every topic is covered logically but the approach used is very efficient.
1)First important thing I learnt was that you should definitely know why right answer is right but its also important to know why a wrong answer is wrong, With approach provided by E-gmat, I was able to do that.
2) Second most important thing is ton of queries I used to have and not a solid answer. That gap was also closed by E-gmat. They not only emphasize on right approach but make sure that they don't spoon-feed you but rather you are the one who should understand what is wrong with his/her analysis.

3)A Large set of practice questions in Scholaranium help you identify your weak areas so that you can focus more on them.

4) I used to flag the questions i used to do wrong and then approach them based on their categories, which helped me target my base understanding which was at fault not just individual question

5)It's important to solve as many questions as possible but its more important to analyse what you have solved. Even if you solve 20 ques a day, you should know each and every possible thing about them such as topics covered, your mistake areas, any lack in logic or just time pressure. A thorough understanding will help you in long term as you are less likely to repeat that mistake again.

I think all of the above factors gave me a better understanding and more confidence during exam. Earlier I used to struggle with time in Verbal as quant was strong so no issues there. But with this preparation, I finished my verbal 5 min before .

TakeAway: Definitely there are lot of material available online to help you prepare but if you are struggling with right and logical approach i would recommend to look for right coaching such as EGMAT. Make a detailed timesheet on how will you cover your preparation. Make sure not to focus on number of questions you solved rather on how you solved them. Don't worry about the timing. With enough practice, it won't be an issue.

E GMAT provides a very comprehensive set of video lessons and question bank in the Schloaranium section that helped me build a strong foundation on basic concepts. It also provided me with useful strategies that helped me improve my speed of solving Verbal questions and improve my accuracy.

The topic wise videos are super helpful. It is not possible for me to follow a fixed routine because of my busy work schedule. But the online videos by E GMAT let me prepare at my own pace and time. Moreover, It has probably the most organized set of questions and with full detailed explanations. The variety offered is of immense help.

One of the best part of the course is the QnA forum, in which the question/Doubts posted by students in the past have been arranged in orderly manner with a detailed analysis and explanation from the E GMAT expert. This forum really helps in clearing most of the student's queries on the spot. This forum has been a real time saver for me.

E GMAT team also provides with excellent customer service and support.

I will be taking GMAT in a short while and i have started to see significant improvements in my verbal score ( V25 to V35 ) in my mock exams.

Thanks a lot E GMAT Team :)

What you really need is - approach to solve

Having attempted the GMAT twice, at a significant gap of 1 year, I was not too sure if I am willing to attempt it again. My first attempt dates back to January 2013 (Scored 470) and the second attempt to January2014 (Scored 500), you would begin to think that I was writing the exam in utter disinterest and without any preparations. Now, let me not bring up the dead from the buried, instead highlight to you what really changed my mind and made me to work towards this goal again. The reasons of my utterly dismal performance so far will be highlighted steadily in the review below.

eGMAT, similar to a lot of you, was introduced to me by beat the GMAT. I was just not sure if it is just another course which I would be throwing my money at. This is because in my previous attempts I kept myself to Manhattan prep, Kaplan and the OG. While OG painted a different picture for me, the other two preparation materials were just categorically different. I was confused, till the last day of preparation about what to follow. And, went into the exam to come out slapped and beaten by the GMAT. This was the time when I understood the nature and importance of the official material of GMAT. eGMAT was truly the game changer that I was sincerely looking for. A go-to material, a one stop shop for all your requirements.

My 2 cents on the course - eGMAT is designed to extremely interactive. The Quant Online is not a course meant to be just get done with. It is designed in a way to make sure that you remember the concepts for times to come. I have been able to complete the course and during my practice sessions, keeping a score stable in the range of 49-51. It is absolutely essential to keep timing of your practice sessions as well, because on the D-Day, such will be the conditions.

All this being said, the flagship feature of their course is undoubtedly the Scholaranium. Scholaranium will help you gauge precisely the areas of strengths and weaknesses and that too at a granular level. Because of this, you will know precisely where to focus your efforts on in the days leading up to the test.

e-GMAT is always trying to improve their content with concepts which can help students better prepare. Indeed, they released a whole host of new features just as I was completing my preparation. If I would have had access to these features before, I would have been able to prepare even better. I think that has to be my only grouse with e-GMAT.

Wish you good luck for the journey.

I took a mock test before the GMAT preparation to gauge my strength. I found that I was strong in Quant but not in Verbal. I researched on many GMAT products online and E-GMAT had the best reviews. I purchased a free trial for few days. The verbal concepts were extremely good (especially SC's and CR's) that I purchased the entire verbal products . These concepts make the foundation so strong that it helps to eliminate the incorrect answers easily. I was able to pickup the concepts and improve my scores gradually. Taking e-gmat's course not only helps in scoring high in GMAT but also improves in effective communication in our business & daily life. From the Verbal Live prep course, I learnt the strategies in approaching a problem and to eliminate the incorrect answers in an effective way. Though I was getting a decent score in Quants, I also bought the Quant course to score V51. Certain difficult topics such as probability, Combination & permutations were been explained in such a simplified manner. I would highly recommend E-GMAT's course to everyone who are going to take their GMAT.
