I am not a native speaker of English and I had trouble with the verbal section in GMAT. In my first attempt, I got a 630 with 48 in quant and just 28 in verbal. I was not happy with my performance and I did not have much time as the deadlines were nearing. I came across the e-Gmat course reviews on the internet and decided to purchase the verbal online course. It was the best decision I ever made! The positives about this course are:
- The videos are short, to the point and easy to comprehend.
- The explanations for all the questions are detailed.
- The Scholarium is the best collection of questions which helped me improve my performance. After completing the sentence correction and Critical reasoning questions from the Scholarium, my accuracy improved and I was very confident about improving my score in the next attempt.
I managed to score 700 with 48 in quant and 38 in Verbal.
I recommend e-Gmat to all those who are preparing for the GMAT exam and this is the best verbal material I have ever come across!

e-Gmat quant online course is self contained to provide guidance for quant section of GMAT. I was reached to a threshold level of 46/51, and even after repetitive review of theory i was not able to cross this limit. After e-gmat quant online course, i was able to reach 50/51 in the mock test. I would like to recommend to other's those who want to excel in maths.

I started my Gmat prep in march 2017, from the start I was aware that my grammar level is way below standards of GMAT. I bought some online courses and started to study from them, though i was able to understand little about critical reasoning and Reading Comprehension, but as predicted i was struggling hard with my grammar. I feel no shame in admitting that i was even not clear of terms like 'Verbing verbs' or 'verb-ed verbs', thus one can imagine my understanding of topics such as modifiers and parallelism would be terrible. After studying for about 5-6 weekends ( i work full time ) i encouraged myself to give a Mock. The score brought nightmares for me - 490 (quant 48 and verbal 11 ). when i saw the screen my achievement in quant meant nothing to me when i compared it with the verbal score. The only positive site i had was that i marked last 15-20 questions in haste as i was drained as this was my first mock, but deep inside i knew i would still not have scored more than 15-16 as i was not having a single idea of what to look for in SC or CR. Then i started to search for courses as 'best verbal course ', and everywhere e-GMAT name started to appear. i have a habit of checking a lot of reviews before buying a course, so i checked a lot ,founding really good reviews . The next day i bought the verbal live prep course .
My e-GMAT journey started in 1st week of june . i was astonished to see that within few seatings my knowledge of grammar started to improve. The detailed and interactive videos made me feel a little more confident . As the course started progress the level of course started to increase, basically I was nurtured with basic topics like the Subject-verb, clauses then to modifers, idioms etc . I would say the SC content changed my Gmat journey to any extent possible. I was quite confident about CR and E-GMAT's pre- thinking strategies worked so well that before even going to options I am almost clear what I should be looking for and even if I fail to find then there are imp tactics such as 'negotiation' , 'what if' which can help u in difficult situation . After finishing my CR and SC i was quite sure of RC and the 7 strategies given bye-GMAT improved RC further .
In September i gave a mock and scored v20, i was again shocked and lost all hopes.as e-GMAT was proving to be so helpful then what went wrong . i gave a verbal ability test on scholarium for CR and to my shock my ability score was 19, same that i got CR in GMAT prep(i bought the IR tool and checked my score ).Scholarium thus made me notice that under pressure i had forgotten all the rules, i kept calm and started to see verbal LIVE recorded sessions(i was not sure earlier to invest time on them ) and verbal live sessions in a way helped me in enhancing my knowledge more or basically clearing my thoughts why i was not able to apply rules.
Today i gave a mock and scored V33. i am targeting a v37-38 , but it has been a long journey from v11 to v33 and i thank E-gmat for rasing confidence level for me .

eGMAT and it's SCHOLARANIUM are the best thing one can try for GMAT QUANT

I used to considered myself as a quant whiz untill I gave my first mock test in which I got q43.
I thought I had to brush up concepts and give a mock test.. So I tried manhattan books to revise concepts ..Yes, it helped me to brush up all my concepts but it didn't give me the confidence one needs to have.. I didn't feel like "yeah, now I am very well equipped to face any question". Unless untill you get that confidence it is not an easy task to get a Q51.. But with manhattan, I felt like many of the questions which I couldn't solve were based on the concepts I didn't read. So I felt I need some proper coaching to improve my ability
I chose to buy e-gmat, because I already tried verbal live prep of egmat. And I am 100% confident about them..I believed that they are good at what they are doing..I knew that they are basically famous for verbal for non-natives.. So I checked reviews of Quant live prep...It has got amazing reviews for quant as well.. So I thought I might as well try it.. And I could see now, why they get amazing reviews.
Their approach in quant and verbal is very impressive.
They first teach you concepts, and then they teach you approach with application files. finally you can test yourself how good you are in each concepts.. It is so good because they don't teach you shortcuts . They teach you the right method of learning concepts. It is so enjoyable. everytime I complete a concept. I used to feel like "yeah, I am completely ready to face any question form this topic"..I used to feel like "this particular topic is quite easy and there is no question I can stumble upon."..Even a question which actually seems like a tough one can be pulled off with a simple and striaght forward approach..stick to the concepts and approach, answer will be in your hands..Even a friend of mine who used to be terrible at quant is getting Q51 in his mocks.
It won't take much time to complete quant course from egmat.. 1month is more than enough for anyone..They have a platform called "SCHOLARANIUM". It is very well structured..They have questions from all aspects of GMAT quant. I currently have 90% ability in scholaranium, which is quite high. I feel so confident about quant now.
I have GMAT in 2 weeks and I am already getting Q51 in all my mocks..I didn't even solve OG quant.
Thanks to eGMAT. Life made easy.
I would honestly recommend everyone to just buy it without a lot of thought..Don't waste your time scrounging for resources. You can trust eGMAT..
Happy learning.

When I started my preparation for GMAT, I was of the opinion that I just need hone in and improve my verbal sklls. Having a strong background in Maths, I thought that I would just breeze through it at the end, spending 10-15 percent of my alloted prep number of hours. But based on some reviews on the Quant Live Prep program offered by e-GMAT and a bit of gut feeling, I decided to add the course to my cart along with its verbal counterpart. Today when I look back, I think it was a very decisive move to go through the Quant Live prep course which is one of the best, if not the best available course for Quant available in the market.
We tend to ignore what we already know and understand and work on our weaknesses. However, this may be the case but we need to work on our strengths too and do not ignore them or keep them for the end as this might drastically influence the end result. In my case, I was too focussed on the Verbal part, providing little attention to the Quant section. Inspite of it, I did attend the Quant live sessions just to keep the ball rolling and the concepts afresh in my mind. The sessions were of amazing quality with the level of questions discussed and solved using a step by step approach. The Quant course was extremely beneficial to me at the end when I had limited time before the exam. During this time, I had all the relevant concepts and files at one place and I did all the practice quizzes related to all the sections. This helped me immensely to revise and apply the concepts. The best part about the Quant Course is the Scholorannium part of it, which has more than a 1000 questions divided into easy, medium, hard and very hard pools. You can always practice the hard and very hard questions by creating a custom quiz, a practice which is very important to achieve a Q50-51.
I would really like to congratulate e-GMAT for the Quant live Prep course which they have created. It really captures everything from the basic concepts to the very hard application questions, the best part being you can pick and choose where to focus on depending on your current ability in Quant. And as per my Quant score on GMAT, I got a Q50 and did complete my Quant section in 60 minutes.

V19 to V31

I am a non-native speaker and my school curriculum was not focussed much on English, I have always struggled with English but I want to pursue management . So I started studying for GMAT .
As it is always the case I struggled for verbal here. I studied day and night, solved more than 100 SCs and RCs but could not improve more than a point or two over a month. I was still scoring V19- V20. Then I surfed the internet to find answers I read no. of blogs and reviews by toppers who improve by a good margin then I came to know about e-gmat.
I started taking E-gmat's trial classes and started enjoying it ,so without thinking much I bought their Verbal Online as it was not that expensive. Over a month I gave my time to Verbal with the help of e-gmat despite my busy schedule in office. After 3 weeks I gave my mock and voila! I scored V31 which is a great achievement for me. I am still continuing the practice through e-gmat and I am sure I will definitely score upto V40 in my real GMAT.
That was my story of improvement. Let me talk about the features of E-gmat
The course fabricated by the founders is incredible .Many of my friends have bought the course and with the help of that they were able to achieve great score.
The course is very simplified and perfect for non-natives and even natives would learn a lot from it.
It gives no. of perspectives on each question which no other course material does that. On solving one question from E-gmat you will be able to learn 3-4 concepts approx.
It is very comprehensive and suitable not only for an exam like GMAT but also for your life after the exam. The course is designed in such a way that you remember most of the things always. Still I would suggest you to make notes and revise oftenly.
Last but not the least, the scholarium is best among all to know about your improvement status.
One thing is for sure -if you give time to e-gmat you definitely improve upon your score.
Now specifics-
SC- very comprehensive and you will learn no of concepts on each question so no need to solve 100 or more questions.
RC- It has made long RCs fun by starting from the small paragraphs to the large passages. This linear approach is amazing and it will enhance your reading skills.
CR- The pre thinking and logic are the key factors on which E-gmat hits and it will activate your brain.
All the best

EGMAT Verbal live Prep: Order in chaos

After struggling with other competitive exams in India, i realised i was not doing so well in Quant sections of these exams. But there was a pattern, i did exceptionally well in Verbal part. So I did my research and planned to appear for GMAT, after a good work experience.
Like everybody i did the Official guides and attempted 2 mocks and appeared for the exam, to my horror i scored too low in the Verbal section. I took some advice from friends and tried all sorts of ways to get better in Verbal. I struggled for an year with the right material and was in desperate need for help. I researched even more, and bought some international prep material, which proved to be of little help. I was struggling with the preparation and my recently changed job profile made it worse.
I came across EGMAT Verbal live course, i liked the approach, the course streamlines all the grammar topics, categorizes the critical reasoning questions and helps with Reading c omprehension on a much deeper level of insight. I made comprehensive notes, excel sheets of each topic capturing the gist and errors.
Approach is the key here, there is no point practicing questions without observing the pattern and pre-thinking (linking facts and anticipating results). Here the course structure comes in handy.
The Live sessions not only help you to get in touch with the faculty but also clear the air regarding strategies.
Finally, i would like to point out that my accuracy rate was high but my time strategy was weak, i was not able to reach the end of the verbal section. Here prethinking comes into the picture, now i am able to finish the section with great confidence. In terms of scores, i scored V19 in the verbal (official figure), now in mocks (which are fairly true reflection of final score) i am consistently scoring in the range of 32-38 (To me that is huge). I have booked a date and will soon share the final numbers.
I would definitely recommend this course especially to those who have wasted their time and money in other sources and failed to get results.
Thank you so much guys, now i feel more confident and better prepared.

Methodical approach to ace verbal section

On demand videos include detailed solution for concepts and problems. I am visual learner and don't do well with books alone. E-gmat is an excellent platform from this perspective. Its a one stop shop for verbal preparations. I spent significant amount of time in browsing various blogs and sites to gather info about verbal strategies. Once I signed up for e-gmat, I realized all the info I have gathered from other means is readily available on e-gmat in much more concise and accurate manner. A recently added section called 'Your Study Plan' includes everything I need to know for verbal preparation.
Also, E-gmat provides a methodical approach to solving the verbal questions. The course is divided into sub-sections and has a defined process for each verbal section. All I had to do is to follow the step by step approach. Previously, gmat verbal looked like mountain to me with no apparent route in sight to climb the mountain. Now, e-gmat has provided me a tall ladder to help me reach the top of the mountain.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the E-GMAT team for offering the Quant Live Prep Course.
I started the journey in April this year and was pretty much confident about Quants. I took my first mock test after booking my exam date with GMAC and just managed Q39. At that point of time I decided to go through this course as I had realized that I have no chance in the GMAT exam if I can not get a good score in quant. Then I have gone through each concept files and all the practice questions therein. All the pieces were great . Each of the concept files have all the necessary pieces, and more importantly nothing were over or underdone.
I am quite amazed with the structured approach to solve the DS problems. At least for me in the later stage of preparation and in the real exam it saved some 30- 50 sec / Q for DS problems.
Last but not the least the live sessions are exceptional. It give a real time exam experience. The explanations by the experts were really great. Moreover, the queries from the other students were great a input. Those were really varied and if followed and analysed carefully, would definitely help to get a firmer hold on the concepts.
I really owe my 10 Pt Q improvement to this course.
This course is highly recommended for all students, even if one is aspiring for the stars in GMAT Quant.
Thanks Again.

Best Verbal course for non native

I am non-native speaker of english, I studied Management in Peru with almost 6 years of experience in Internal Audi. My job does not requirement speak english, only read some working papers in english. If you have a job where you do not have opportunity to practice your english, definetely you will lose bit a bit your knowledge about lenguage, anda that happend to me. Therefore , the verbal section would be a challenge to me.
Concious about my weekness, I started to prepare with standar study materials such as Manhattan GMAT SC y PS for Critica Reasoning and coaching to improve my verbal score, but I had some doubts about my progress, because I did not see improvements in my score, that depressed me , in my first score I got V18, that was hard knock to me .
One day, searching about sentences correction material I found "E-Gmat" explanation about correct use of " verb-ed and verb-ing" and which is the correct road to solve this kind of question on SC, since the beginning I liked the way they teach me, because literally E-Gmat take your hand and explain you each detail. After this experience, I decided to buy the verbal online pack, that was my best decision because each topic has a light video in which explanin each step to follow for solving question. With each class I did a sumary because in case the best way to study is writing notes, my note book finished cover with colorful post it, to remind me the strategies that I had found in my path of learning.
The topics are well structured that let you assimilate all the concepts easily and the pracitce in the course tell you in which topic you need more work and help you to understand the choose of the correct answe. My most weakness was SC at beginning , but with SC source was the part in which have considerable improvements, the 3-step approach to SC is amazing becuase it helps you with the most challenging questions. In case of RC, the pre thinking approach really help you to develop a structure way to understand the argument before you select your answer, definitely I had to change my mindset to let all this knowledge replace the new one.
I am very grateful to e-gmat for develop this course, I am still working in my currents issues to be more prepared to get my gmat exam , which is my last challenge of year. There were moments in which you feel fer by your current score, but do not give up keep on struggle and go for there. My current score is V30, but it is not enough and I sure that with all materials I can V40.
Go for your dreams come true! All the best for you.

i am a non native GMAT aspirant who has an art background and weak in both the section of GMAT. I started my preparation 8 months back. I remember i used to struggle a lot in verbal section, be it sentence correction , critical reasoning or RC; all used to give me a hard time. it made me lose my hope for better score in GMAT exam. i didnt know how i should improve my knowedge in both the sections especially for verbal.inever ised to pick right answers for right reasons and always believe in those options which sounded correct to my ears and wasn't bothered about subject verb , modifiers. idioms etc. i refered many books with hundreds of grammer rules which as impossible for me to remember. Same with quant books. i wasnt sure what to read and what not.i couldn't filter.
Luckily i shared this problem to one my friend ,he suggested to join Egmat. I searched about it and went through the trial videos and some other. I found it best suitable for me. As it audio video option helped me to understand the concepts well. i joined the EGMAT-live prep course. Which consist both verbal and quant sections. The course is very comprehensive and holistic in nature. The concepts are taught in a very simplistic manner and the quizzes are very helpful to understand how the concepts are tested.
when i compare the results of no. Of questions i used to correct during the initial time of preparation and today, there is a huge difference. I have improved a lot.
The best part of the program is the Scholaranium. It has question ranging from easy to hard topic and one can easily refresh the entire course through them.Further ,it helps one to understand one's strength and weakness.
I am Planning to take my GMAT test after weeks and i hope i would score my target score.
I would like to thank Egmat and its team and hopefully these concepts learned from e-gmat will help achieving my target score .
I Would Definitely Recommend E GMAT live prep Course to anyone who is non native and looking to improve his GMAT score.
Thanks,
Lok

e-GMAT - The guide to acing the GMAT

I came to know about this course from a friend of mine and I could not thank him enough. This course provides detailed concepts in videos in different modules one by one and after each concept, you have practise questions so that you can actually apply the concepts you just learnt and note down where you're going wrong. Making notes from the concept videos and maintaining an error log that would not only help you revise, but also create a handy notebook for you to skim through while you're on the move.
e-GMAT course also offers live online interactive sessions where the experts show how to solve 700+ questions in a limited time. These sessions are topic wise and follow a pre-scheduled calendar. Although if someone is not ready for a session then that person can also view the recorded sessions for this anytime later on. I find this very useful.
The Scholaranium part which has vast number of HARD and VERY HARD questions grouped into different categories(quant and verbal) is very useful in solving 700+ questions in the GMAT.
e-GMAT provides a number of key strategies that you must keep in mind while preparing for GMAT.
I would highly recommend e-GMAT course to anyone, no matter what stage you are in your GMAT preparations. They also let you check out their course free of cost where you can view some of the concept videos and get to know how it works for you.

e-gmat online prep

i was recommended this course by my gmat guidance counsellor. initially i had no great expectations from this course but i was wrong. this concept of videos followed by short and long exercises is a great idea and is really intuitive and helpful. my sentence correction skills were greatly improved after i finished the SC module as i have reduced using intuition and increased using logic.
For individuals who want to improvise their quant skills, this course has explained everything gmat requires right from what are whole numbers to complex word problems. There is an IR module also available unlike other online courses i have taken which helps understanding the level and type of questions.
this is a highly recommended online prep course for somebody who requires a strong basics foundation and are looking further to advance their respective skill sets.
this is clearly not a crash course and does take considerable amount of time advised by the stu dy planner to complete. but once completed there is no looking back as the concept of video slides and animation does leave a mark in your mind.
all the modules have been properly arranged and necessary instruction videos have been setup for an easy learning process.
the study plan is designed keeping a beginner in mind which is great as it helps asses ones skill set and capacity.

I came to know about e-gmat verbal online course from my friend who cleared GMAT recently with good score. As Engineer my math was pretty good and was able to score around 45-50. But my verbal score was not that great to be shared here and hence i opted for an online course to improve my verbal score. There i came across e-gmat which is typical structured and custom made for non native English speakers.
The course is so structured and designed such that each question type have 3 step approach which makes student really easy to crack the question. Simply practice the 3 step approach for all the problem type mentioned by e-gmat to improve your accuracy.
RC section takes special mention here. Previously before Course i used to spend a lot of time in RC question. But after following E-gmat 3 step process , i was able to save time and improve the accuracy of solving problem.
If you are non- native English speaker and planning for verbal online course, E-GMAT verbal Online course is one of the best you could get.

EGMAT is most user friendly, with exact content required for GMAT preparation. There are 100s of 100s of material available. But E-gmat gives exactly what is required for the exam.
I am from engineering backgroung, so quant was never be a problem. But wen it comes to language section in GMAT, I was struggling to build confidence. hege comes the e-gmat wic chnaged the way of my thinking. E-GMAT verbal section is as good as reading mathematics. Eac and every quation can be logically resolved no matter how bad or slow are you in language.I can say I am able to improve my verbal by atlest 60-70%.
I can say this is best online training availabel in the planet.

The best in the street for verbal GMAT prep

I have not had too many issues with quant but despite considering myself good at English, I struggled in the verbal section, which was clearly visible from my first GMAT mock test and subsequent practice tests. Everyone kept on mentioning that SC is the key to a good verbal score but I was unable to make sense of it after reading books. After reading reviews of e-gmat from gmat club members and signed up for the verbal online course. I found their approach very innovative but most importantly structured. I think that resonated with me the most. The idea of application files and concept files is also equally innovative and helps grasp the crux of the SC approach easily. With a whole host of practice sentences and their detailed analysis especially simulating a class enviroment, the mind automatically gets wired to approach SC questions. All this helped me in bringing down my timing from around 3 plus minutes to 1-1.5 mins. The other section that really helped was the CR section. The concept of prethinking seemed very obvious to me but the application was just as difficult. However, adopting the step-by-step e-gmat strategy I was able to get to a proper structured approach to CR questions. What I found excellent were the solutions to the OG questions, which I think gave me a confidence boost.
However, last but not the least, I am impressed with the scholaranium platform. I think it is a collection of really good GMAT questions and helps you guage your performance. Especially because it becomes really hard to find the right quality of questions outside the OG.
My verbal score on my mocks is now around 40 vs 33 earlier and I highly recommend e-gmat to others on the same gmat journey.

My experience with E-gmat from attending free webinar to scoring Q50

I would like to recommend everyone who is reading this to just blindly trust E-gmat and invest your time with them. They have very brilliantly designed the course and scholaranium which will identify your weak areas and your ability percentage in individual topics.
My friend recommended me to attend a free webinar from Rajat Sadana which was on the topic Algebra. First thing which explained was Score Plateau. His explanation to overcome score plateau was very useful and it really helps to improve scores. Then he started off with explaining different approaches to algebra questions. After the seminar, I really felt the difference. That was the moment when I wondered how an online course can also benefit anyone.
I regiseterd for E-gmat Quant Prep score.
The course has all the flash player videos on the specific topics which are the core topics. Initially, I used to think that Quants is a very wide and to excel in Quants I need to solve at least three different Quants books. Fortunately, I was proven wrong. E-gmat has specific topic relation tutorials and topic related application files which help to master the step by step approach to the question.
Next, the best thing is Scholaranium. It has more than 1000 question categorised into different levels.
Finally, my investment paid off and I am scoring up to 50 in quants.

I decided to take EGMAT to prep for the verbal part of the GMAT. Overall, the teachers and sessions were great. I learned a great deal from the 7 strategies of reading comprehension and plan to use them during my Test. I think the most useful part was the emphasis on Pre-thinking, it tremendously helps one answer and think about a question in detail. I am thankful for the great teachers and am lookig forward to taking the GMAT next month!
