E-GMAT simply the best for Verbal!

November 17, 2017

I took my first attempt in June'17 and scored 730 (Q49, V40). Upon buying the ESR, I found out that my weakest section was CR (31) followed by SC (41).

In researching GMAT verbal courses to take, I read many reviews and talked to a few people. Most people said e-GMAT was the best, and the reviews were certainly excellent. I signed up, hoping it was worth it.

The videos, the nuances that are covered in the concept files and questions, the workshops - everything that e-GMAT provides is sufficient to

Now, I easily have 90-95% accuracy in the verbal section while giving the mocks. e-GMAT is definitely a saviour for those who want to improve their Verbal skills.

I am appearing for GMAT again in Jan'18. Wish me luck!!

Best Quant online course I ever come across

When I gave GMAT first time, I thought i was very strong in Quant. But during Exam , I was unable to solve difficult questions. Then I realized I was very weak in my concepts. I was very weak in word problems,Probability, numbers & Permutations and Combinations. After going through the Egmat Quant online course, my basic math concepts have improved significantly and I was able to improve my accuracy to greater extent. Unlike other courses such as Princeton,Manhattan etc, this course has covered all difficult types of Problems that we will not be able to see in other courses. Another best thing I like about this course is,the sequence of the modules E-gmat recommends to cover. This helps us to master in Quant so well and makes to crack GMAT very easily .
Even you if you think that your are strong in Quant, I recommend to take this course .

Make the ace in Quanti

After a long working experience 8 year and continuing with job, I planned to move my career ahead. I started my preparation of GMAT. I enrolled for Kaplan coarse. I scored Q32 & V21 in my first mock. Then I realized that this coarse did not suffice my need. Then I gone through the free session of E-GMAT and found it worthy.
I research more about E-GMAT through review and feedback and opted for online series of both Quant and Verbal. I found the course contents cover basic and advance topic in a very simple and effective manner. The quant videos are giving a class room environment where I could play the video multiple times till the concept cemented and also per my time availability. Each concept has its own concept test and finally Scholaranium test, where I could verify my strength and weak areas.
E-GMAT team is also supportive to organize the webinar on various topics to make their student more clarity about the GMAT exam and on specific topics too.
In last but not least, I would advise to participate in E-GMAT course to improve the score in actual GMAT. This course is very much helpful for working students.

Best Verbal Course for Non Natives

I had started with V21 and I was extremely weak in verbal. I got to know about Egmat by attending a free webinar by them, I really liked the way the instructors approached a problem,it opened the box to viewing the questions in a different light.

SC videos and the course is defined in a systematic way and is highly recommended for everybody. The rules are explained in a fun and interesting way.
The CR approach too was helpful as well. The prethinking method saves a lots of time. I also gained the confidence to tackle the much dreaded boldfaced questions. The Negation technique and Variance Tests have helped me a lot.

For tackling the RC, I found the egmat approach to be very useful. I liked the Master Comprehension course which helped me to read the passages quickly. I was able to improve my speed and accuracy.

I am still in the process of preparing for GMAT. I can say this with a lot of confidence that eGMAT's Verbal course is definitely one of the most exhaustive course available currently. The best thing about the course is that the teaching method is very elaborative.
Step-by-step process mentioned in the course will definitely help not only in building strong concepts but also in getting a higher score in Verbal.

There is absolutely no comparison to Scholaranium. It makes assessing your weakness crystal clear. I will highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve Verbal performance.
Will definitely share my performance once I am done with my GMAT.

I am still in the process of preparing for GMAT. I can say that eGMAT's Verbal course is definitely one of the best course especially if your verbal has conceptual gaps. All the required concepts are explained in a simple way.The SC videos gives you the best understanding with the 3 step process and detailed meaning analysis. My CR portion was already strong so i did not care much for it but i did the Scholaranium thoroughly. The RC videos were really helpful as well. e-GMAT provides you a number of key strategies that you must keep in mind while reading through RCs.
Thank you e-GMAT.
I will highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve Verbal performance.

GMAT Quant score improvemnt from Q37 to Q49

2 years back I have appeared for GMAT at that time my quant score was Q37. Now will appear for GMAT again. My target score is Q50.

One of my friend introduced me to e-GMAT, I am grateful to him that he has done so. After a break of 2 years , I felt the need to go over again. Gone through the course structure then there were free videos provided by e-GMAT made them a whole lot of fun. I would really recommend it to you all as well. I made my notes as I went through the course. Going over them later helped me a lot.

e-GMAT provides you a number of key strategies that you must keep in mind while reading the question. The one strategy that worked wonders for me was to simplify the problem before we approach any question. It was a bit difficult at the start but eventually with practice I made myself comfortable. For practice the Scholaranium is the best tool available in the market. It really helped me for both Quant and Verbal. The scholaranium changes its structure everytime depending on your weak areas.

I am hopeful to pull up a good quant score.

Highly Recommend for those looking for help with Verbal

  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 660 After: N/A

I am yet to retake my exam next month, but here are my thoughts on the experience I've had with the course so far
SC - Highly highly recommend, especially for the non native speakers. The course covers every possible concept tested in GMAT for SC. The main concepts of SC are broken down into easy understandable videos which comes with a pre and post assessment. These videos have extensively helped me gain command over SC questions, so much so, that my accuracy improved to a 90%

CR- My CR has been good to begin with. Again, well made videos and concepts are clearly laid out

RC and Master Comprehension- RC has been a blocker for me since the very beginning and their videos are clearly helping me out to gain more confidence over RC questions, with their strategies to approach different sorts of RC questions. Master comprehension is a nice and quick course that serves as a good pre-course before starting RC.

Overall, highly recommend for those looking to improve verbal scores. I have had help from several book and material courses before but nothing was nearly close to E-GMAT's course, because of the way how their course is designed, especially for their SC course.

Easy to apply useful tips to boost score

November 1, 2017
  • Teacher: Payal Tandon
  • Recommended forVerbal: No  Math: No
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: N/A After: N/A

Before i started with my GMAT preparation i took few practice exams and realised that I was struggling with Sentence correction. I immediately started solving questions from official guide and verbal review, but I didnot see any improvement in my scores. It is during this point of time that a friend of mine referred me to E-GMAT verbal online course.
The verbal online Course consists of series of videos which are lucid and easy to comprehend. The 3 step process elucidated in the course is easy to follow and saves a lot of time in eliminating the answer choices(Only flip side is that you need to train your mind to apply the 3step process, which takes quiet some time).
With practice, some unlearning and relearning i started making a slow progress with my SC questions. my accuracy and speed started increasing and now i am averaging around 40 in verbal section.
The best part about the course is that it builds your intuitive ability in choosing right answers. To this effect the large number of near GMAT practice questions available in scholarium are very helpful. Infact you can create a lesson specific custom quiz and focus on applying the concepts you have learnt.
Thank you e-GMAT once again and thanks to all those who read my review till the very end. I hope I was able to motivate a few of you out there like me, who may have totally given up on RC.

Best verbal preparation aid for GMAT

October 29, 2017
  • Teacher: archit
  • Recommended forVerbal: Yes  Math: No
  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 620 After: N/A

Like every non native English aspirant , the most dreaded part of the GMAT preparation for me was Verbal Section. The Actual problem that i was facing was despite of all the hardwork , i was always committing mistakes and this was impacting my confidence. Small and silly mistakes in terms of choices were very confusing and always acted as a hindrance for me to get a decent standing in Verbal section.
After reviewing and going through some of the online session and articles of E-gmat, i enrolled for the course and after going through the sections and practices , feel had i taken the course earlier, i would have saved lot of time. The best part of the Course is SC and it is hands down best resource than one can find for Verbal Preparation. The detailed analysis of every element of sentence and probable GMAT question has been thoroughly discussed and by going through several practice tests , it becomes second nature. There is no scope for guess or non conformit y . For example, the impact of modifiers on different elements of the sentences and how placement of modifiers changes complete meaning . these small nitty gritty are the real essence of the course and help you to understand the things in the better way. Similarly in RC and CR , prethinking saves you from a lot of the problems and guess works. With every concept and practice session , you will feel the confidence and accuracy going up wards only. After that you have Scholaranium that helps you with regular practice and its questions are very much in line with the real problems. Quizzes and question pools are awesome and great help. Overall it is one of the best thing that one can have , for verbal preparation. Most important is the way the whole thing has been designed , it is too simple yet so effective. Also, the e-gmat team is always there for your help and support and it just shows they care for you and your preparation. And it really a great thing . Thank you E-gmat for everything.

Quant Online course of e-GMAT is very well designed covering basic concepts with greater clarity through examples. It adds value to the candidate at whatever level you start. Although I had a decent quant knowledge still I was highly benefitted from quant online course in terms of the basic concepts and the wide span of problems it covers. It was immensely helpful in brushing my basics and gave me a better perspective on what to expect on GMAT day. Besides, the variety of problems in quant scholaranium help me develop confidence on almost every topic of quant. I recommend this course to everyone irrespective of the stage where they begin the preparation.

EGMAT quants helped me to improve and score consistently

October 25, 2017
  • Teacher: EGMAT

  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 470 After: N/A

My preparation for GMAT started less than a year ago.At my first instance I had different perception about the GMAT exam. With that perception I made my first attempt and scored 470 (Q19,V39).Only at that moment,I realized that to crack GMAT with a high score it is essential to be guided by an institution which focus their teaching both on basics and advance topics in relevant subjects, especially in Quants and simultaneously provide the real-time strategy to crack 700+.
After my first attempt,I realized that I am weak in Quants and need to overhaul my entire learning process from basic math.I enrolled for trail classes of some of the institutions which provided online courses including EGMAT.I am happy that EGMAT Quants Online not only taught the basics, precisely to what I expected but also helped me to perceive various dimension in analyzing the given concept. The instructor provided both detailed explanation and short-cuts needed for relevant understanding. The Pre-assessment and Post Assessment test for every topic helped me to understand my strength and weakness in the respective topics.
I always had a fear for questions pertained to geometry. In my first attempt, either I had spent more time to address an easy one or simply skip them without understanding the question.Geometry section of EGMAT had detailed explanation of the basics and animated representation of teaching made the subject more interesting for me. This apart from giving confidence, helps me to save lot of time.
I am happy to say that,I can really see my improvements in quants when I started to solve quants questions from different resources with ease and that too in short time.I am consistently improving my scores in the mock test. All credits for my improvements goes to EGMAT.You guys are awesome!I am happy that I made the right decision by joining EGMAT online Courses.

i am a native English speaker. For this reason, I never thought i needed help in basic English. Much of this course, I am struggling due to the complexity of the course. I feel that Manhattan GMAT gave me a good foundation. However, e-gmat is helping me to understand in what areas I am weak in verbal. In addition, it is helping me to understand which grammar rules I do not fully understand. I would recommend anyone who is getting below 650 in GMAT to take this course. I highly recommend it.

I only purchased the verbal section since that was the area I needed to improve the most.

The provided lectures were very clear and useful to master each of the basic verbal concepts, especially for sentence correction and integrated reasoning.
Although he exercises and questions were not exactly as the ones found in the GMAT, they were incredibly handy to master each lesson since they provided not only a clear application of a concept but also a clear explaantion of the right answer.

Verbal E-gmat

  • GMAT ScoresBefore: 630 After: 690

I have always had a facility with Maths, so since the beginning I knew I would need to focus on my Verbal studies harder. I tried all the possible books and online sites to enhance my Verbal score, but during months I saw little improvement in the knowledge acquired.

But then I had an a friend telling me to check out the e-gmat, because it was the best online course. Honestly, I made the login not so sure of what I would actually learn, because obviously so many tips had not been so efficient until this point.

Fortunately, the E-gmat Verbal online was definitely the changing point on my Verbal understanding. I felt I really improved and understood the content of the Verbal section only after I went through the e-gmat Verbal online e-gmat course. My grades before were around V29, and now on my mocks they are around V38.

I would say all of the contents are worth. SC, RC and CR. The videos are easy to understand and follow a chronological strategic method to make sure one understands the contents. In fact, I woulds advice to check ouot the 3 contents, ans specially to use the maximum that is offered in the Scholarium feature.

For those who are in doubt, I would definitely suggest the e-gmat as the best online verbal course.

Thank you e-GMAT once again and thanks to all those who read my review till the very end. I hope I was able to help some of you!

All the best to you all !!

I started using E-gmat as I had heard a lot of positive appreciation about E-gmat.

I first went through the concepts. Please do not forget to go through the application files. A low score on the application file indicates that you need to revise the topics throughly. Make sure to follow the guidelines given to complete the test scores, repeat the test if needed.

Concepts are explained in very clear way.

Another tip to effectively study is to utilize the Scholararium section. Not only can you choose the types of questions but you can also the difficulty level. This tool also has a detailed feedback on your weak areas. This tool also helps to provide actionable feedback area wise.

Quant Live Prep Course

  • GMAT ScoresBefore: N/A After: 640

Hi, i signed up gmat quants live prep course. the course offered by e-gmat is phenomenal in the sense that the help you understand the concept right from the basics and help you understand the most difficult concept tested on the gmat.
Live prep is a platform where you are required to understand and review the concepts before hand and then professor helps you to take the concept to the next level (i.e application). Which i think is the key to success in the gmat world as most of the test takers falter not on understanding the concept but more on application of the concept. That is given a particular question how can it be solved in the correct and most simple manner. E-gmat has designed its course in such a manner that the is less about of subjectivity and you and apply the concepts in a methodical manner and arrive at the answer. This is a beneficial method when it comes to someone who has not practiced quants after his school and is currently out of touch.

I would tell Krishna was a fabolous professor when it comes to explaining how does one falter in quants and dos and donts in a quants problem.
