Prior to taking the GMAT I had studied for and taken the LSAT, so my verbal abilities were already pretty decent. I searched for a while around the internet before settling on TTP to hone my quantitative skills. I could not be happier with the course. No matter what your previous experience is, TTP will provide sufficient lessons and practice problems to help you achieve your goal score. Like most things worthwhile, it is not going to be easy. However, the organization and depth of the course will keep you engaged and allow you to become extremely prepared for the test. I also really liked how accessible the founders of the course made themselves throughout the journey. I would often get messages from Scott either just to check in or to offer additional support and webinars. You can tell that these guys really care about their students and want to help each of them succeed. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to begin their GMAT studies!

TTP helped me improve my GMAT quant score by 7 points from 41 to 48 in a month! TTP's chapters are super clear and helpful and the chapter tests really allow you to identify your weaker areas. I thought TTP was especially helpful for Number Properties and Absolute Value/Inequalities which I definitely had trouble with at the beginning and are two of the most common topics on the actual test. Definitely worth the money and highly recommended!

Target Test Prep has a structure that is clearly designed to maximize one's learning potential. Going into this course, I was struggling with remembering all of the information tested on the GMAT and did not know how I was going to answer every question in the 62 minutes allotted. As someone with great short-term memory, I am an effective test-taker, but with the exhaustive breadth of the material tested, I kept forgetting some strategies and content. Target Test Prep's structure of teaching through multiple quizzes as well as reintroducing old topics to keep items fresh was perfect for me. I cannot recommend Target Test Prep enough, and if you are considering a course to increase your quant score, it is worthwhile to at least try the free trial to see if it's right for you.

I used TTP for about 4 months prior to my exam and I truly believe there is no more comprehensive study material out there for the GMAT. TTP focuses on implementation of concepts throughout the course. There is no shortage of practice tests, quizzes, that are intentionally delivered after every single chapter to solidify your understanding of each lesson. Even after you are finished with the course itself TTP has modules dedicated to taking official mock tests after the course. After I completed the course I scored between 47 and 50 on the quantitative sections of all 6 mock exams I took and my actual exam. Before signing up, I was skeptical that the content provided was worth the money, but TTP completely delivered. It was a great step by step guide on how to tackle the GMAT. It is a worthy investment if you are willing to put in the time to learn and practice the material. Scott, Jeff and the TTP team are also entirely devoted to making sure that their students succeed and were available to me whenever I needed their assistance. With the release of their material dedicated to Verbal Review, this is truly the one-stop shop for your GMAT preparation. I wholeheartedly believe that my GMAT score would not have been possible without TTP.

90 Point Score Increase in 3 Weeks of TTP

I recently completed the online GMAT and scored 730 (96th percentile). I could not have done so with TTP Quant. I am currently a senior in undergrad, graduating in 2 weeks with degrees in Cell and Molecular Biology and Philosophy. I haven't taken a math class in about three years, and I was never particularly strong at math. Even in middle and high school, I would do Kumon and other such tutoring in the summers specifically because of how difficult I found math to be. Now onto my GMAT story ... I took my first official practice test on 3/5/20 and scores a 640 with Q37 and V40. This is with no preparation. 2 weeks later, I took practice test 2 and scored a 650 with Q35 and V44. Over those two weeks, I worked with some other GMAT resources, but I didn't see any gains in my score. Of note, I also did not feel that I was really learning anything in this time despite covering lots of material in prep books and doing some practice questions. On 3/30/20 I purchased the flexible program from TTP. This is the actual date that I can say I really started understanding GMAT Quant. From the first module, my approach to the questions changed, and over time I started building my test-taking intuition. I immediately stopped using other resources and only did TTP. I wont lie, I only completed a few modules because I am still in school and have a lot of classwork to manage in addition to my GMAT prep. However, the gains came very quickly. On 4/11/20, by which point I believe I was on module 5 of TTP, I took official practice test 3 and scored a 730 with Q44 and V47. While my Verbal did improve slightly, my Quant improvement was much more substantial. This might go unappreciated but my confidence during the test was higher because I could see how much better I had become at Quant. I think that my increased confidence is in part the cause of my verbal increase. More specifically, in practice tests 1 and 2, verbal was hard because I was sulking at how badly quant went. For context, I always did Quant, Verbal, IR and then AWA as my order. When I saw 730 on 4/11, I signed up for the Online GMAT for 4/20. In the meantime, I continued TTP, and I took GMAT Practice Test 4 on 4/17/20 and scored Q45, V46, and 740 Total. I used Microsoft paint for the quant section to simulate the online whiteboard. On 4/20 I took the official online and scored Q48, V42, 730, 96th percentile. So, from 3/30/20 to 4/20/20, my score improved 90 points, from Q37 to Q48 via the help of TTP. I strongly suggest everyone use TTP! It really improved my understanding of the test format, trends, strategy, and of course, the material. I honestly am amazed at my own score improvement and couldn't have done so without TTP.

I usually don't write online reviews but I needed to write one for TTP. It raised my quant score from lower 40’s to 49 and made gmat much easier. I studied a lot through another famous course and was disappointed to see that my quant score was still not evolving, so I searched in the internet for alternatives and saw the great reviews that TTP has. I am usually pretty skeptical with online reviews but decided to give a try. And they are real, it works. It is a lot of work and you need to put several hours per week on that (i studied 5 hours a day, 6 days a week for 2 months) but if you follow the plan it will give the results you need, it is very rewarding. I recommend ttp for everyone who will take the gmat regardless of one’s level. Sometimes it looks silly and repetitive, but thats why it works so well. It is by far the best gmat quant course available, just wished they had a verbal one as well, it would have made my life much easier, but it seems they are doing it know.

I absolutely loved this course. As I did a Languages undergraduate degree, I had not done Maths in over 6 years, so I was slightly anxious about Quant. I knew I had a lot to cover, and I wanted to take the GMAT within 2 months of starting the course. After reading a lot of good reviews, I chose the TTP course and focused solely on that for the first part of my study. The reviews were 100% right! This is a highly structured and easy to follow course. I love how organised it is, and how each module built the basis for the next. After each lesson there are loads of exercises and continuous review tests to make sure you're fully consolidating the material learnt as you go. When I say I had to go back to basics - I mean it. I was even relearning long division in the beginning. The fact that each lesson came with detailed examples, videos, and digestible explanations meant that I was never lost. Additionally, the 1 or 2 times when I wasn't 100% clear on a concept or exercise, I would ask for help and Jeff would immediately (I mean within even 2 mins!) offer me some clarification. This meant that I was always 100% confident on the material, and everything else came down to practice. I loved Jeff's and Scott's explanations so much that when I was looking for solutions for official GMAT questions on forums, I always looked for their explanation (and cried when there wasn't one :( ) What's more, the course comes with THOUSANDS of exercises, from easy to hard difficulty. I completed all of them, which basically turns you into a quant machine, and after that there are hardly any GMAT questions up to 700 level that will surprise you. I didn't even use the OG quant questions (I know, a questionable decision, but my budget wasn't massive) - but TTP and the 6 official mocks were enough. I think how good this course is is evidenced by my score improvement: I scored 590 (33V, 39Q) on my first Official Test Prep in the end of November 2019. In February 2020 I took the GMAT for the first time and scored 720, with 49Q! I definitely recommend this course to ANYONE looking to achieve any GMAT score (whether that's 600, 650 or 700+). The only thing I was sad about was the fact that they did not have a verbal course - but Scott tells me it's in the works, so that's good news for you guys still studying!

I only had about a month and a bit to prep for the GMAT, alongside work, and knew I needed to solidify my quant skills. I didn't even know how to start preparing for quant in a structured way, as the only resources I had were practice questions where I had no way of knowing whether I had truly covered every chapter (like an actual study course!). TTP was exactly what I was looking for - it has the entire content of GMAT quant broken up into the relevant chapters. Even the actual chapters are broken up into bite sized pieces of information/formulae which feels less intimidating than opening a book and seeing pages and pages of text. The end of chapter tests are a great way to ensure that you have mastered the topic, and are often more difficult than anything the GMAT will throw at you, so a great way to prep for hard questions. I thoroughly recommend TTP for anyone who is taking the GMAT - even if you are decent at math like I was, there are so many nuances to GMAT quant and the types of questions they ask, so I guarantee you will come away from TTP prepped and in the best position to write the GMAT!

TPP is amazing and all you need for Quant

TTP was amazing! And really helped especially if you need a refresh in math. It gives you everything you need for the test and uses a scientifically backed process to teach. Note that the course is a commitment though. Be honest with yourself: you have to dedicate time to doing the work. Moreover, TTP estimate for the time commitment is on the low end: if you really review your chapter tests and official tests question by question it is going to take longer than 180 hours that they quote. I would give yourself about 3 to 4 months to do this course. I crammed it into 2 months and felt like I was burning out and not deriving all the value that reviewing your mistakes and weak areas gives you. To be honest, the fact that it takes a long time to truly learn something is not anything on TTP, it is just a fact of life, there are no shortcuts. So in sum TTP give you everything you need and it is set up in a convenient package (they don't stress that their website is mobile friendly!)...study on the train! Area for improvement: They need to do verbal. As for raw data: my my official practices I was getting around Q47-Q49. My Q46 on test day I blame on the horrible cold I had - isolate yourself the week before the test! Overall 10/10. Great job. If you are dedicated, you will not be disappointed. Amazing value.

I was looking to strengthen my quants performance. I generally score 48-50 consistently but did not want my quant score to dip below 50 on the real exam. Having read quite a few positive things about Target Test Prep (TTP), I decided to try it. I found the structure of the course to be excellent. It goes over all necessary mathematical topics in a logical order and has multiple practice tests ordered by difficulty level for each topic. I had solved all GMAT Club tests but I think the best way to improve one's score would be to complete TTP first and then do GMAT Club tests. The issue with doing just GMAT Club tests is that you are randomly picking at tough questions. Completing TTP first will ensure you have covered all the basics. TTP also teaches a lot of vital rules and short-cuts that help save time not he GMAT. Ultimately, I had read through 90% of the course and done 85% of their practice questions before the actual GMAT. I got 740 (Q50, V41) on the real test and I can safely attribute my Q50 to TTP's course. Another aspect is that TTP is backed by very good tech. The interface is neat and the analytics are helpful when you want to go over your weak points. I took the 5-day trial for $1 and would recommend anyone undecided to take advantage of the trial. It gives you full access to the course and helps you determine whether TTP would be useful for you.

Before using Target Test Prep, I was completely lost on the math section. My first time taking a practice test I got a 590, mostly due to a poor quant score. Although I was always a decent math student in school, I had forgotten much of the core foundation that allows for success for a test like the GMAT. TTP helped builds that foundation and then drills it into you. After completing the entire course, I was eventually able to get a 700, which was my target score. In general, I am a huge fan of the service's customization and overall relentlessness. Do. Every. Section. It will get the results that you want. Additionally, I found it to be by far the most effective in terms of cost and time.

Compared to a more video-based course (such as Manhattan GMAT Interact, for example, which I also tried), TTP gets straight to the questions and I appreciated that. I'm very much a learn by example type of person, so the interactivity of the TTP platform (e.g. questions and reviewing answers) was just a lot, lot more efficient than going through videos about the basics. I ended up doing TTP for about a month before I took the exam and it bumped a Q44 up to Q47 by test day, so for the money I'd say that TTP is really a quality option.
Highly Recommend TTP

Using only the Manhattan books with what I now realize was casual studying, I got a 680 (Q39 V44) with what you can see is a poor quant score. I ran out of time on quant and was penalized. I thought the GMAT would be relatively simple compared to the CFA, but really it's apples and oranges. It's tempting to white knuckle your way through the quant with tons of algebra and without a calculator, but for most problems, that's just not how it works. I took the test again a few weeks later but there was no improvement. Clearly I needed help with math. I discovered Target Test Prep through a forum, and I'm happy to endorse the work that Scott, Jeff and the rest of their team have done with the platform. Rather than piecing my way through books, it was much more effective to use an integrated, online interface where you could learn the content and do practice problems. Everyone will advise that you track your progress and keep an error log, and TTP basically does this for you. If you're limited on time, I think you'll see a solid improvement with just the easy/medium problems. I will say, though, that having drilled their hard problems, I consistently got Q48/Q49 in my mocks. The math felt relatively simple — at that point, my inefficiencies were more about test-taking skills and falling for the GMAT's tricks rather than a gap in knowledge.
Trust the process and TTP will take you to a strong quant score

Before trying TTP, I went through a course of Manhattan Prep in-person classes. It helped me learn the fundamentals, but I hit a plateau and didn't see my quant score improving. Going through TTP helped me reinforce the fundamentals and learn tactics that would help me push my quant score up ~7 points from where I was after finishing Manhattan Prep. While TTP might seem time-intensive, repeatedly drilling the concepts allowed me to execute under the tight time constraints of the GMAT. Don't skip sections, trust the process that TTP lays out, and you'll see dramatic improvements as well.

The modules are easy to follow and are complemented perfectly by the equation guide. I used the equation guide as essentially a review sheet before taking practice tests and the real thing- something that I believe helped immensely. I was routinely hitting 47-50 scores on practice tests leading up to my official test. I bought into the program- I did all of the quizzes as recommended. At times it did seem like overkill and I just wanted to move on, but I trusted the process. Sticking with this advice definitely helped as many of the concepts and steps in problem identification became second nature to me.
In terms of customer service, any time I had any sort of question, Scott or a member of the TTP team responded almost immediately. Scott showed in interest in my path and followed up after the program to see how everything went.
I recommend this program to anyone studying the GMAT and needs that boost in the math section. I only wish that TTP would come out with a Verbal section as well. If they do, I will purchase the program again.

TTP might not be a good fit for you if:
-you're not a self-directed learner, since there aren't scheduled classes or accountability.
-you don't have the time to put into it. I got through it in 3 months doing 3-6 hours per day, and wouldn't recommend skipping modules or tests
-you already have a strong foundation in the quant topics. While I still think there's value to be found in the sheer amount of practice questions TTP has, it really breaks down topics that I could imagine might be oversimplified if you're more recently familiar with these topics
My advice is to do the free trial and see how you like the style of the lessons and answer explanations. The video and written explanations for problems really clicked with me, so I knew pretty quickly this was going to be the program for me. The interface is really clean and easy to navigate too, which I appreciated.
