Review: I was blown away by TTP's program and customer support. I started my journey studying for the LSAT so I had a solid foundation for verbal. I had a good quant base but I was inconsistent (Q44-46 in mocks). After 4-5 months of self studying, I received the same mock score as when I initially started studying (710). I started TTP the next day. It was easy to follow and, if followed as planned, provides a very good foundation to tackle almost all Quant questions on test day. When I finished the program I was getting 730-770 on the mocks. What blew me away the most was the customer support. I scored a 710 on my last mock and panicked. I emailed Scott and within hours I received a call from one of the tutors (Jeff) who gave me some last minute tips and advice before my test. I ended up taking the exam online (710) and again in person (750).

For someone like me who pretty much needed to start from scratch with quant, this course was amazing. It definitely takes many many hours of dedicated study, but if you put in the hard yards, it's impossible not to improve your quant score. It's very thorough and covers every topic so that you know the subject matter inside and out. No shortcuts here but it's worth it. What I liked most about it was that it's a very structured/gated program - my tendency is to skip/rush ahead (and consequently to skip over valuable material) and this course doesn't really allow for that. I also found the targetted study practice invaluable - I could just go through a bank of questions that focused on a particular topic I was struggling with until I had perfected it. It took me about 9 months to get through all the content studying an average of 2 hours every day. I'm so pleased with my 750 score - especially after a cold 520! There's hope for everyone. Thanks TTP!

As a 38 year old applying to online MBA programs, I was rusty on the quant side to say the least. For me, the Target course's great strength is that it is designed to build your confidence along with your skills. In my case, I discovered TTP about a week before I first took an online GMAT, and while I got a good score (730), my initial experience with the Target quant course made me feel I could do a lot better with enough time to study properly. I rebooked the (non-online) GMAT and spent approx. 2 months working through the whole course - Quant and Verbal and finally managed to score 770 (Q50 V45, IR8, AWA 6). For me, the effectiveness of the course comes from its breaking all concepts down into simple components and building them up gradually to give a deep understanding. The huge volume of quality questions then builds fluency in applying skills, a valuable skill on exam day. The verbal course was also excellent, particularly the sentence correction section. I found other resources for sentence correction to be confusing in their reliance on idioms and 'awkwardness' as explanations for answers to SC questions. TTP is refreshing in that it seeks to provide clear rules to find simple, logical, objective answers to all questions. In my opinion this is the secret to unlocking the truly high scores on the GMAT verbal section. Overall it is an awesome course. Some of the questions are hard, for sure, and it does require a lot of effort, but it really prepares you well for the real thing!
610 to 720 with TTP

TLDR: I have so much love for TTP. After scoring a 610 (Q40, V33) on an initial GMAT practice test, I spent weeks (maybe months) trying to decide what prep course to invest in. TTP was the one course, no matter what website I was on, that had the (seemingly) most consistently positive and authentic reviews. Just over 3 months later, I totally see why. With TTP (and TTP only), I improved my GMAT score from a 610 to a 720 (Q49, V40.) The learning path is clear, extremely comprehensive, and provides endless amounts of relevant practice problems. On test day, there was not a single quant problem that was unfamiliar to me - The real GMAT was straightforward and predictable thanks to the thousands of practice questions TTP offers. (It feels absurd typing this because my reach goal before studying with TTP was a Q46.) The TTP team has created an insanely special program. Seriously, trust TTP.

I signed up with TTP hen I had already given the GMAT once and scored a Q46. I needed a bump on that quant score because I knew the limits of my verbal (more on that later). I had basic knowledge but not the complete knowledge to really ace the GMAT. The beauty of TTP is that they keep the focus on simplicity, using simple approaches and basic concepts to solve even the toughest of questions, making quant look super easy. Further, the sheer number of questions in the course ensure that most of the concepts, approaches, common question types become second nature to you. That really helps when you're operating under timed conditions. Jeffrey, who is the faculty for Quant, is always a message away and you can ask your personalised doubt to him through an easy to use message box. I highly recommend the course for Quant. As a side benefit, the beta verbal course of TTP comes free with the subscription and while I only tried the SC module of it, it was SO WORTH it. The SC module of TTP really helped me boost my accuracy on SC to >90%. It made certain tricky concepts logical, which really helped me. All in all, heavily recommend TTP.

The pacing, organization, and detail in TTP's program were perfect for my needs. TTP was exactly what I needed, and frankly, more than I could have asked for in a prep program. Not knowing where to start with my own prep, I sought out the most effective program I could find, and luckily, I found it. Scott & the team's courses on verbal, quant, and even test strategy, were immensely valuable. TTP had plenty of practice questions of successive difficulty levels, detailed answers and concept explanations that made sense, and strategic recommendations that I found effective. I even found the strategy section of the course particularly valuable because it helped preempt the nerves and distractions that I would have to deal with on test day. Working with limited time, and no official practice test, I knew that I would have to organize my time as effectively as possible. TTP already had that covered. I highly recommend TTP to anyone at any stage in their MBA search.

Target Test Prep has designed a truly exceptional quant course. The chapters are comprehensive and easy to follow. Less intuitive concepts are crisply explained. Practice questions resemble real GMAT questions in form and content. The review quizzes helpfully reinforce prior learning. The team is also incredibly responsive and I had all my questions answered within hours, sometimes within minutes. In summary, TTP quant covers everything you need to obtain your goal score on the GMAT. I signed up for TTP because I thought I understood most things, but definitely had holes somewhere since my accuracy on OG questions had hit a plateau. TTP introduced me to tools and tactics that elevated my performance on practice exams from 47 to the 49-50 range and gave me the confidence to sign up for the real thing. I reached my target score, no problem. I think TTP is a great option for both beginners and "last mile" learners. Note on verbal: Since verbal came more naturally to me, I did not take TTP's verbal course, but I have heard great things about it.

Target Test Prep was immensely helpful in preparing for the GMAT and directly contributed to my 70-point score improvement. Having used another test prep program, I found Target Test Prep to be extremely engaging and helpful. The Quant review was structured very well and was done in a way that the concepts built on each other and did not bounce around. The sections were extremely detailed and everything was easily laid out and sections could be referred back to easily. The Verbal review was also very helpful, and I found the Sentence Correction sections especially helpful as this is where I struggled on the Verbal section. The video explanations for both Quant and Verbal were very thorough and provided detail explanations of the problems at hand and discussed how certain sections were related. The people at Target Test Prep were also very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone considering a test prep program at least try Target Test Prep.

If anyone is looking for the perfect website to prepare for and excel on the GMAT, look no further than Target Test Prep (TTP). Like many others, I was searching for the best GMAT prep option that was affordable and well reviewed. I came across TTP from positive reviews and seeing the better pricing options versus competitors. When I first took the GMAT, my score was below a 600, and after taking the time to review all of the course material within TTP and completing all of my modules and quizzes, I was able to improve my score 130 points to a 710! I could not be more pleased with the study material offered by TTP! For starters, the quantitative review goes over every topic you will need for the exam, and every chapter is broken down to describe all possible questions you may face on the exam. The verbal section material is similar, in how every grammar and sentence correction and critical reasoning topic is well explained and broken down with good practice questions. The site has every detail of each and every possible topic you may see on the GMAT. The organization of the site with progressive modules and multiple quizzes are perfect to help you stay on a pace and succeed come test day. Overall, I am grateful for TTP for helping improve my score so significantly. Plus, the CEO and other tutors are very easy to reach and always willing to help! I STRONGLY suggest this platform for achieving your GMAT goals!
Strongly recommend TTP course

The TTP course is extremely well structured and detailed. The quants lessons which delve deep into each concept and the practice sessions at the end of every chapter help build a strong foundation. Along with my confidence, my quants score also improved substantially from the initial practice sessions. I must also mention that the recently added verbal lessons are also superbly designed. I believe that the lessons in critical reasoning were especially useful to me and helped me score better in the verbal section. I was also able to track my progress with the help of the analytics and error tracker features. I was extremely disciplined with the study plan and even though I couldn’t fully complete the course in two months, I was able to increase my score significantly. In addition to the lessons in quants and verbal, I found that with the tips to handle exam day stress, I was able to manage my test day anxiety and I remained calm throughout the test. My advice to prospective students is to follow the course plan and if possible, since the course is intense and, in my opinion, difficult to complete in two months, spend three or four months with the TTP dedicated study plan. I strongly recommend TTP to prospective GMAT candidates.

GMAT is a logic exam, hence having a strong foundation is an absolute must. The comprehensive TTP course does a fantastic job at making your basics strong and giving you the essential conceptual clarity. It helped me improve my Quant score from a Q42 to a Q48 in a month. The Error Analytics feature of the platform is an amazing feature to help you track your weak areas and improve upon the same. Also, the team is quick to reply to any of your queries and guides you well. Overall, I am glad I chose TTP and strongly recommend it.

I never thought I'd be able to score anything higher than Q43, maths is definitely my weakest point. I tried a number of different companies with their free trials - the plan was to just go from trial to trial and not spend money. However, after 5 days free with TTP I knew I found THE resource to help me. Every aspect is explained really well, there is a way to work through any errors you made and there is a great emphasis on understanding how everything works in simplistic terms. Video tutorials are bite-size and well explained. The best thing is - you can look at your stats and instantly identify your weakest topics to practice more! I signed up for a month, worked through all the lessons and most of practice tests - and ended up with Q48! Verbal element was also very helpful - as there were techniques I did not know before - but I was already comfortable with my projected V score prior to starting with TTP. All in all - would 100% recommend!

A couple of weeks ago I received a score of 770 (Q49, V47, IR8) on the GMAT Online. This is only thanks to TTP and the wonderful platform they have created. Subscribing to TTP is like going back to school. You are told exactly what you need to know and you are given a clear plan and the tools to solve every problem that will come your way on the real thing. For those among us who are of a competitive nature, you are also provided with statistics for each exercise so that you can compare yourself with other users. The Quant section is without fault. I believe that anybody that fully commits to TTP can receive a near-perfect score if they stick to the plan. I was able to complete the Quant section in a month of intensive studying. I am sure that the Verbal section will be just as amazing once it is fully finished. Some parts of the Verbal section are already available and are top quality. I finished the Sentence Correction chapter which I personally found very fun and rewarding. You won't need anything else in order to succeed on the GMAT. Just stick to it and you will be rewarded. Good luck!

I started studying for my GMAT during the summer and was mainly focusing on doing practice problems, after reading the Kaplan and OG. However I began to hit a wall and wasn't seeing a large improvement in my practice test scores. I decided to pivot my strategy and found Target Test Prep to help me learn how to better tackle the problems. The quant section was extremely thorough and a great refresher for topics I had forgotten about. They taught me so many important and useful methods for tackling quantiative problems quickly and correctly. The verbal section was also great, especially for sentence correction. I'm a native English speaker, but there were tons of important grammar rules and methods they taught (which helped to boost my verbal score). I ended up scoring a 750 (Q48, V44) on my GMAT and definetely would not have done as well without Target Test Prep.

Straightforward Standalone Way to Study for Quant

As a standalone Quant course, TTP was perfect. Probably one of the hardest parts of studying for quant is finding a place to start and developing a comprehensive study plan. For me, the OG book was woefully insufficient in order to reach an acceptably high quant score. TTP was perfect for me in that it has a very structured and comprehensive study plan. It took about 4 months of 3-4 hours studying/day to complete the whole course but it was “easy” in that it was all very straightforward. TTP also had a ton of practice questions which gave me more than enough reps to feel comfortable with every concept. Outside of the GMAT, I feel my foundational math skills have also just generally improved considerably as a result. I have no doubt that most people who complete the course in its entirety will be more than prepared for the GMAT. My advice would be to not neglect the recommended official MBA practice tests at the end of the course. While TTP encourages great concept mastery, the format and style of official questions still take some getting used to. I also completed a portion of the Verbal offering, which is still in Beta. I won’t be rating the Verbal portion because it’s still a work in progress but it’s definitely on the right track. Content is still sparse right now but, I would assume, more lessons and questions are on their way (they added new tests while I was studying).

Target Test Prep is the most thorough guide to tackling GMAT quant that I found. The fact that it's a guided program helped me stick to it all the way through. Following completion, I was confidently scoring Q49-51 on all of my mock exams (diagnostic started in mid Q40s). I originally completed the course in 4-6 months and was ready to take my exam, only to have my appointment canceled (Covid-19 pandemic). Scott reached out and gave me advice on how to keep reviewing to stay fresh until the next time I could take the exam (The "Custom Test" feature is great for building practice sets of any section or difficulty). I would recommend TTP to anyone serious about hitting an elite Quant score or making significant improvements in Quant.

Target Test Prep was the only prep I used and it helped me achieve (above) my goal score. I knew that my quant was really weak, so I chose Target because I knew it was quant focused. It broke down every section very clearly so that I understood the foundations and from there I could build upon my knowledge. I was able to study and reach my goal score in 7 weeks (I raised it about 50-100 points). By the end of my studying, they were rolling out some verbal section practice as well, which I found to be as easily broken down and understandable as the quant. Soon, it should be even more developed and helpful. Target Test Prep was very helpful and in my opinion more affordable than many other options. When I needed access for only 2weeks, they accommodated my needs rather than forcing me to pay a whole month, which is a big bonus in my eyes!
