They provide plenty of useful videos that really summarize important ways to tackle various GMAT problems. Great for studying while you travel. No books needed. Study at your own place. Great in depth videos. So worth $100

Magoosh was great because everything was online. As a consultant who travels on a weekly basis, carrying large books was not an option for me. The course is definitely worth it for those not wanting to shell out thousands for in-person classes. The lessons provide great explanations.

I would like to see more questions in the question bank. Also for practice tests, it would be nice to have the full test rather than just the verbal and math so students can truly simulate test day.

I am currently using Manhattan in conjunction with Magoosh and I can feel myself progressing so quickly. I really like Magoosh because of its unique format, and the ability to time myself on each individual question.

I am very satisfied with the program and would recommend to anyone.

I did my GMAT prep almost entirely with Magoosh. I also had the official GMAT book but hardly touched it and I did some last minute practice tests on various popular sites. I found the Magoosh example answers excellent, probably some of the most useful I have seen. The verbal and quant sections were great. (I'm a native English speaker).
It's easy to use, lots of variety. The ebooks are very helpful, particularly for idioms, though I prefer to study by practice. The flashcard apps were very handy when I was starting out to brush up on the basic principles.

Magoosh's content and question-answer services are very helpful. I used the Manhattan GMAT books and this was a great complement to better prepare for the GMAT. I definitely recommend spending the money for this service.

Magoosh was the first test prep course I tried for the GMAT - I tried it out for free, loved it and when they were having a sale I signed up for the whole thing. For the price - it cannot be beat.
Their interface and website are wonderful - simple to navigate, with an easy way to track your progress. The videos are excellent, especially on the Quant and SC. I was VERY rusty when I started studying and was afraid that I would not have enough time to cover all the content. I WAS SORELY MISTAKEN! The lessons are all on video, you can play them at a slower or faster speed (which I prefer) and I was able to study anywhere. The Quant and SC videos are excellent, and the IR and AW are good enough (for those sections). I personally found the CR and RC videos a little lacking - they were good but not to the standard of the Quant or SC videos. You also get around 1000 questions to study from, all with video explanations and comparisons to previous test takers, which is something that even (much) more expensive programs don't have.
My personal suggestion would be to get Magoosh, get their flashcard apps (which are top notch - low on flash but HIGH on functionality and information), get the OG, get the Manhattan GMAT books (used is cheaper) and sign up for GMAT Club (which provides you with ~1400 questions). With that package you can be VERY well prepared for under $300 (and most of that is the books).

I was pretty pleased with my verbal score on my first attempt at the GMAT (98th percentile), so I only purchased the quant package... The self-paced on demand format is ideal for a motivated test taker. I crushed the math problems every single day after work for 2 weeks. I did hundreds of them. I watched the videos and worked the problems again. The results speak for themselves... from 47th percentile on quant to 88th... from waitlisted to scholarship!!! Thank you.

I really enjoyed the online premium prep. It was very informative and have already increased my CAT scores. I'm planning on taking the GMATs in March and know that my score will reflect this incredible prep course.

Great videos and explanations, the idiom app is great, I also enjoy breaking up studying with their blog posts.

After bombing the math section of the test, I bought the Math and IR package from Magoosh after a friend recommended it. I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money on extra study materials, and it seemed like a good price. What a difference it made! The videos are very informative and easy to follow, and very applicable to actual test questions. Additionally, the practice questions are very similar to actual test questions, quite possibly more difficult. I felt that the math videos and practice questions really helped me improve my score, and I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone needing to improve their own score!

I chose to use Magoosh because of the flexibility to study when it was convenient to me, I have a busy military job and a small family so dedicating time to study when my kids were awake was a real downer. Magoosh provided me with instructional videos that I could watch at my own pace and at a time/place of my choosing (generally when my children were in bed). The videos were very helpful and I found myself referring to them throughout my study process.

I think the practice questions were realistic in their difficulty but I do wish there were more medium difficulty questions to mix up the deck.

The Video lessons were immensely helpful. Also, I also followed the study plan which allowed me to methodically prepare for GMAT. The explanations to the questions were also very helpful.

The structure given by the Magoosh course really fit my needs as a test-taker and a studier. The lessons and question re-caps via video were extremely helpful because they allowed me to take notes just as I would in a classroom setting. The price is hard to compete with at $99 for the Premium Subscription. This course is great for any one who prefers a self-study method to improve their performance.

Magoosh covers almost all the topics that might come up on a GMAT test for both Math and Verbal section. It helped me a lot to prepare in a very short time. I was not aiming for a over the top score. I wanted to get a decent score by not working for a long time and Magoosh was a great help. Had I used all of the devices provided by Magoosh I think I could have scored even more. If a student just have 2-3 months this website can help him/her to score even 700 or more.

Magoosh math was great because it allowed me to move through the material quickly. I greatly improved my quant abilities and speed and couldn't have done it with any other format.

I signed up for Magoosh a few months after I had taken my first GMAT test. I previously studied with Kaplan and was not impressed with my test score. I heard about Magoosh through word of mouth and quickly signed up. I was hesistant about it at first because of the pricetag. How can a GMAT prep program be so inexpensive AND effective?!

Magoosh is definitely one of the best GMAT prep courses available. There is a large question bank with extremely helpful and thorough corresponding video answers. I felt that the questions were very similar (difficulty and content-wise) to what you might see on the actual test. Their lessons are also fantastic resources. There are detailed video lessons for nearly every question type/topic you'll encounter on the GMAT. Note to mention there are also practice tests (excluding the AWA and Integrated Reasoning sections) available.

I believe Magoosh is the only way to go when studying for the GMAT. Taking full length prep courses is like paying someone to teach other people. With Magoosh you can fully focus on things you need to learn and not have to sit through class after class of prescripted material from a teacher who is trying to help everyone learn through covering every topic.

With Magoosh you can learn on the go, which is very important to people like me working full time. With the flexibility of being able to study whenever and wherever I want, I was able to create my own schedule and was not too stressed out when I couldn't keep to the schedule as I can always make up the time later on....not like a prep course where you always have to attend or you feel like you are losing money.

Magoosh is the best if you have self motivation and discipline to get the job done. Other than a few typos here and there I really have no complaints. Aced the GMAT on my first go by sticking to the 3 month Magoosh suggested schedule.

After taking the Manhattan live prep course and exhausting all practice exams and questions, I was looking for another source of challenging questions. I didn't find the questions of other providers such as Kaplan very challenging. After learning about Magoosh through a friend, I figured I had nothing to lose since it was only $100 for the premium course. I started out with a 640 and after using Magoosh for only one month I scored a 690 (45Q, 40V). The math and verbal videos were both very helpful. Magoosh is very unique in that it provides video explanations for each of its practice questions. It really helped tie everything I had learned previously together.

In fact, some of the Magoosh practice questions were identical to the actual gmat questions! I would absolutely recommend Magoosh to anyone studying for the gmat. The apps are also very helpful, especially the idioms app.

Magoosh premium is a pretty comprehensive gmat study course. I can easily see it getting a student from low/mid 600s to high 600s/low 700s - if you do all the work. If you want to score higher you will need to find a different course for advanced content - magoosh is lacking in that area.

If anyone knows of any that is affordable - please let me know, as I am also searching.
