610 to 760 with TTP!!!

Target Test Prep was a phenomenal resource for me as I started my GMAT journey. I wasn't sure where to start with my studying and was overwhelmed with the amount of resources available. Once I started Target Test Prep, that overwhelming feeling disappeared. A diagnostic test set up by TTP allows you to identify where you currently are versus what your goal score is and how to get there. I started by reviewing all the basics for quant that I had forgotten given I haven't taken a math class in over 5 years. Then I focused on the weak areas and read all the lessons and did practice problems until I had mastered the topic. I followed a similar routine with the verbal section, but focused more on the strategy rather than drilling practice problems. This helped me improve my reading score immensely, which is the section largely responsible for my jump in score from 610 to 760.

Teaches Skill and Consistancy

TTP has two things that I think no other test prep company offers: A teaching approach that reinforces understanding and an attitude that will give you the mental preparedness needed to succeed on the test. One of my greatest struggles was consistently scoring high on all sections in one sitting. TTP gives you a deep understanding of the concept you need to know while teaching you how to think. This allowed me to be consistent in all sections and ultimately hit my target score. It sometimes doesn’t sink in that the GMAT is a test of logic, but TTP focuses on that more than anything. The course gives you the basic knowledge needed for Quant and Verbal, but then takes it one step further and ties every section together to give you the thinking mindset you need. All questions except IR are now included in the course and even if you think you’ve mastered a particular section, I can guarantee you that TTP will show you, not only a better way, but a faster way as well. A great example of this is their newly released reading comprehension section. I always scored 85% or higher on RC but it wasn’t until I went through the section on reading comprehension that I realized that, while I was getting the right answers, I was getting to them in the absolutely most inefficient way possible. Once I went through the course’s content on reading comprehension, I noticed that I was able to improve on critical reasoning as well due to the sudden increase in time available to do these questions. Ultimately by the end of my test prep, TTP taught me probably the most valuable thing I needed to know about the GMAT: the test isn’t hard because the concepts are difficult, the test is hard because they apply the concepts in an unfamiliar way. TTP teaches you how to apply what you’ve learned to any situation even if you’ve never seen it before. I highly recommend this test prep company.

I earned a 750 on my first attempt thanks to TTP!

I cannot say enough good things about Target Test Prep. The course truly gave me every single tool I needed to earn my desired score on my first attempt at the GMAT. I started studying for the GMAT approximately 10 months ago. As an English Major and avid reader/writer, I knew that I’d need all the help I could get when it came to Quant proficiency. I started by going through Manhattan’s “Foundations of Math” book, then I jumped into the Official Guide. After a few days of work with the OG, I realized that I’d need to dive much deeper into the quantitative subject matter to become comfortable with of the material that could potentially be tested. Additionally, I realized that I required more structure than what was offered by the self-paced “study out of a book” method. After some research (YouTube, Reddit, GMAT Club) into online test prep companies, I chose Target Test Prep. The testimonies painted a picture of an incredibly thorough course that, through repetition and genuine learning of concepts, gave students the confidence and ability to solve any type of question thrown their way. Target Test Prep lived up to the reviews, and to my expectations. The course (Quant/Verbal) took me nine months to complete. I remember some of the reviewers of the TTP course stating that the thoroughness of the curriculum seemed, at times, like "overkill." But overkill was exactly what I wanted. The curriculum covered each concept at the level of depth required for me to gain/ensure a complete understanding of the mathematics, grammar, and logic, rather than teaching gimmicks or “test hacking” strategies. By the time I sat for the test, I was fully confident that no question would surprise me. To conclude, I have to shout out the TTP staff. The chat functionality on the TTP website allows students to ask questions and provide instantaneous feedback. The TTP team personally answered all of my questions in a timely and helpful manner. TTP comes with my highest recommendation!

My entire strategy depended on TTP and honestly, I couldn't have progressed as rapidly without it. Assessing my progress without the analytical dashboard would have been a chore. The ability to create custom practice tests made it very easy for me to try my weaknesses and focus on what mattered. The quantity and quality of the exercises and solutions are simply outstanding. Furthermore, the TTP team was extremely responsive to all my questions and supportive throughout the process. Do yourself a favor and give it a try, you won't regret it.

Q50 thanks to TTP!

February 27, 2022

The first time I wrote the GMAT, I scored a 700. While I did well on verbal (V42), I was well below my target score of 50 on Quant (I scored Q43). I didn't know what to do since I had exhausted all of the OG Quant practice questions and even though I was able to answer those questions well, my abilities weren't being reflected on the actual exam. I knew I needed to invest in a course that would break down the different types of quant questions and teach the theoretical concepts so that I could effectively answer higher-level quant questions. This is where TTP came in. I came across some reviews for TTP on gmatclub and thought I'd sign up for the 5-day trial. The trial allowed me to access the entire course and see that it was broken down into sections for the different questions types. I was able to determine which exact sections I was weak in and use the practice tests and lessons to improve my skills. I subscribed to TTP's flexible plan and completed all of the quant lessons and practice tests in a few months. It took me a while to get through the course since I was travelling and working, but I think you could probably complete the quant portion in a month depending on your starting skill level and availability. I saw an immediate improvement in my quant skills after completing TTP. I was consistently scoring a Q50 or Q51 on the official GMAT practice exams (from mba.com) and knew I was ready for the actual exam. I scored a Q50 on my actual GMAT exam and finished the quant section with 5 minutes to spare! This was a huge improvement since I wasn't even able to finish the quant section that first time I wrote the GMAT. I wouldn't have been able to score in the 99th percentile without TTP. I love how the course breaks down the different concepts into sections and offers questions of differing difficulty levels so that you're able to assess how well you're doing. TTP is the gold standard for GMAT courses and I couldn't recommend it enough!

TTP is extremely well-structured and effective

I work full-time and haven’t studied for a test since graduating college, so I knew that I needed a prep course that would not only be effective but also keep me motivated. TTP turned out to be the perfect course for me. TTP has thorough explanations of concepts and covers all the Quant content you need to know. It also does a great job of providing in-depth explanations alongside summaries of key takeaways. Although I mainly used TTP for Quant, the parts of the Verbal course I did were similarly spectacular. When studying with other prep materials, I fell into the trap of learning content but soon forgetting it. With TTP, I avoided this trap because TTP does a great job of incorporating questions throughout each chapter, and also including review quizzes that test your knowledge of previous chapters. Through the numerous questions that TTP provided, I was able to really solidify my understanding of Quant concepts. Other than the great content, the platform is really well thought out and has many features that made my preparation even more effective. For example, TTP’s progress bars for each chapter, which kept me motivated to study even after a long work day. I also loved using TTP’s custom tests to build my own problem sets. The customizable settings meant that I could do problems that I felt would be most effective for me, and I especially liked creating custom tests of questions at a certain difficulty level, questions belonging to specific topic(s), or only questions that I had previously gotten incorrect. Best of all, TTP has such a large question bank that I didn’t have to worry about repeating problems. I also found TTP’s note-taking and bookmark features incredibly user friendly, and I really appreciated being able to easily review trickier content in the days leading up to my test. Thank you TTP for building the best test prep platform and helping me achieve my target score!

I heard about TTP from a friend, and immediately decided it was the best course for myself. I had tried to self-study using Manhattan Prep and the official GMAC test prep books, but honestly TTP blows them both out of the water. The course is personalized from the get go, and every user is able to set their own target score, which modifies the difficulty of the study plan. I only had three weeks to prep, and during this time I was able to go from a 690 to a 760... as a non-native English speaker! I honestly cannot recommend this course enough!

Extremely Well Structured GMAT Prep

TTP comes prepared with a detailed study plan and all you need to do is trust the plan and study exactly as the course lays out it all out for you. It is a comprehensive course and the only way to ensure you get the best out of it is to really commit yourself to their Prep and put in the hard work. TTP teaches you all you need to know right from the basics - especially important for anyone who hasn't looked at Quant concepts since High School. One of the best parts about TTP is the direct and fast support you get from the Tutors. They are just one message away at all times and you get the feeling that they really want to help you out personally. This is such an important factor in these online prep courses. They've got a plethora of practice questions to let you know exactly how you're doing in each concept. One of my concerns early on was whether I would remember the stuff I learned in the beginning of the Prep, but TTP got that covered through their multiple revision tests during the course of the prep which re-emphasises the important concepts you learn in previous modules that you've studied. All in all, this is a one-stop-shop for GMAT. This is a worthy investment and there is a very good reason that it has outstanding reviews from all students.

I took my first GMAT course back in June 2020 and did not achieve my target score. Although I am confident in my verbal skills, my math skills were poor and I needed step-by-step guidance to understand the content. The GMAT is so much more than learning a few formulas. It is about developing analytical skills and responding sensibly in the moment (with about 2 minutes per question). TTP helped me strengthen the foundation of my math skills and also approach questions from an analytical point of view. My confidence in the test increased and I was able to calmly approach problems without freaking out (this actually was a major challenge). TTP is THE best course. It is also great value for money. I re-took the GMAT after 6 months with TTP and score a 720 (V 41 Q 47). Highly recommended for individuals who have the discipline to self-study and need something to guide them through the process. Plus, the TTP module on combinatorics and permutations is AMAZING. Seriously, I didn't think anyone could teach me how to tackle these questions. TTP did. I'm a fan!!

TTP was the only course I used for my GMAT preparation. After getting a 640 on a mock, I decided I needed a platform that could help me improve in both quant and sentence correction. After finishing TTP's content, I got a 740 on the exam. TTP sets you up with a study plan based on your current level and your score goal. All content is very thorough and easy to follow. After each topic, you get a series of tests grouped by difficulty level - amazing for making sure you have understood the concept and all possible ways it could come up on questions. It also lets you track what are your weak spots, so you can come back and work on them. I used the platform for 4 months, studying 2/3 hours every morning before work. TTP was certainly key for my preparation and I would recommend it to any friend.

The only GMAT prep service you'll need

I came across a number of different study resources in the year that I spent prepping for the GMAT and I can tell you without hesitation that TTP is hands down the best one for both quant and verbal like. Beyond it being so comprehensive, TTP is also great for what I think is such an underrated feature: ease of use. TTP is better than most other platforms in this regard--not to mention every physical GMAT prep book in which you have to flip back and forth between pages just to check your answers---because of its simple, clean design that helps you to maintain your focus and engagement during what can otherwise seem like a tedious process. Moreover, the sections are formatted in a way that makes sense--this was particularly helpful for me as I began my GMAT prep with little memory of the types of math skills that are covered. Lastly, this may be kind of cheesy but another thing I really appreciated about TTP was the quotes and words of encouragement that were intersp ersed throughout the lessons. Prepping for the GMAT can feel like a long and lonely road so the motivation definitely helps. I would highly recommend TTP for both quant and verbal prep.

TTP Review

I started with a 530 on my first practice test. After my first OG practice test, I ordered a ton of MGMAT and OG books. And after 1.5 months of studying, I took another practice test and scored a 630. I was disappointed in this score and realized that there were still a ton of gaps in my knowledge. So, I turned to another testing service: TTP. I completed TTP's lengthy and comprehensive course, which took me 250 hours in total, and scored a 760 on my first official attempt. I can not endorse TTP more. It is simply the best GMAT preparation service out there. It is completely comprehensive. If you make flashcards throughout your TTP journey, by the time your GMAT comes you will have everything you need to know. Everything is explained simply and clearly. The videos that Scott makes for the problems also help you pay attention. It can get extremely boring reading for hours on end, so his videos are really helpful. The TTP chapter tests for both sentence correction and math will prepare you extremely well for the actual GMAT. Overall, $99 a month is such a small price to pay for the GMAT score improvements you will make after using this prep.

Very grateful for TTP's affordable and thorough program

I absolutely recommend TTP to anyone looking to score 700+ on the GMAT. Not only was the course affordable at 399$ for 6 months (other programs in my area cost several thousand), but it helped me get my goal score of 720 on my first GMAT online attempt. The course was easy to follow and very thorough. The explanations provided really helped hammer in the important concepts. There was also a lot of valuable information in terms of the test itself, the ideal study schedule, and how to psychologically prepare for the exam. As far as the course itself, I can't see how any other provider would be able to beat TTP. I put in about 400+ hours into the course. When I started my GMAT journey, I had been out of school almost 11 years. I had a weak understanding of even basic concepts. TTP provided the framework for me to strengthen the necessary skills, and had plenty of practice problems to make sure you understand the concepts as tested. In addition, Scott and his team were always available, if I had any questions or needed additional explanations. Overall, I can't thank their team enough for their course and their support through the process. Without their help, there is NO WAY I would have scored in 94% percentile on this exam. I highly recommend TTP to anyone who is willing to sit down and study and do lots of practice problems. Other courses that say that you can hack/game the test might leave you coming up empty on test day. As for me with TTP, I was able to excel on test day with the foundation of knowledge and test taking strategy I learned in the course. Thanks again TTP!!

Tremendous Math Content, Excellent Verbal Content

November 23, 2021

I used TTP as preparation for my GMAT exam in the hopes of being able to supplement my undergraduate GPA with an extremely strong GMAT score. I had seen that TTP was widely recommended across various GMAT preparation websites, so I initially decided to give it a one week free trial. Based on the the content within, and in particular the guided solutions to the math portion of the exam, it was clear that among all the test prep sites I had dabbled in, this one was a step above. So when that week expired, I signed up for the one month subscription. I spent probably 10-15 hours a week for the next four weeks cranking through most of the Quant chapters, taking notes, and then moving on to practice exams. I exclusively used custom created exams, with only "Hard" rated questions. This was critical to my success on the actual GMAT exam. And again, in practice mode, you are able to see immediately the correct solution and thought process to any question you get wrong during the practice exam. While my verbal practice on TTP was limited to just about a week, it was also excellent. It was beneficial in understanding the type of thinking necessary to progress through CR and RC type questions. All in all, after just 5 weeks of using TTP, and no other prep beforehand, I was able to score a 760 on my first GMAT attempt. I can't recommend them enough. Put in the time and effort, and the content within will certainly help take you to the next level.

I am so thoroughly impressed with the level of quality and easy of use of Target Test Prep. I started my GMAT studying back in late 2020 and anticipated spending 3-4 months of rigorous studying to achieve a 700+. When that turned out to not be the case (time management with work was too difficult), I needed to pivot my strategy -- enter Target Test Prep. TTP's style of teaching is perfect for working professionals like myself, who were only able to dedicate 30-90min/day of study. My favorite feature is the level of data analytics they capture about your progress. After completing the curriculum, I spent many hours taking their practice tests & quizzes. Over time, TTP clearly indicated which areas I needed to improve upon. In addition, TTP also provides test-taking guidance -- a feature not always prioritized in many of these GMAT courses. This guidance, such as how to mentally prepare for test day (such as listening to pump-up music) helped me score 40 points above my target. I whole-heartedly recommend TTP to anyone looking to achieve a 700+ on their GMAT.

I gave my first attempt of GMAT in July 2021 after studying Manhattan Prep and practising from OG (as recommended by a lot of forums). To my surprise i scored a 560 in my attempt. I had worked really hard and had no idea what more should I have done to get my target score of 700. Then I read reviews of Target Test Prep online and decided to try their 1$ 5 day trial. I was impressed the minute I logged in. It had a personalised dashboard & a very friendly design. After 5 days of briefly going through target test prep, I decided to take the Flexible offering for 1 month and then ended up renewing my subscription for another month. By the end of 60 days of TTP (studying through their chapters) & at least 500+ Question solving I felt ready to give my second attempt and ended up with a 710 (Q47,V41)!! Talking about the Quants Prep - TTP is a natural winner. They cover all topics in detail & also provide you numerous practice examples through the course Verbal Prep - I did manage to also complete the SC & CR prep of TTP and was massively impressed. Before TTP, I consistently scored

Target Test Prep is amazing. It's a fully comprehensive prep course that will get you ready for any question the GMAT throws your way. I started the course after 3 months of self study that resulted in a 640. With the help of Target Test Prep, I was able to strengthen my quant and verbal skills, and also sharpen my mental toughness for the exam. This confidence in my skills lead me to becoming excited for the exam and for scoring high. After extensive study using the course’s written material and quizzes, I was able to score a 760. I do not think this improvement would have been possible without TTP.

I can't recommend TTP enough! I've recommended it already to so many of my friends who are taking the GMAT and I wish I had fallen upon it earlier in my GMAT review process so that I could have decreased the amount of time studying non-essential information for GMAT math. I will say it is very, very long so definitely give yourself enough time to do ALL the course materials provided. TTP offers more than enough material, from lesson plans to quizzes and tests and starts you from the very beginning of the math foundation so that you can have a really good grasp of the concepts inside out. There were so many "aha!" moments while I was studying because there were some questions/concepts I didn't understand before doing TTP that I finally knew how to resolve after doing TTP. Literally cannot praise this course enough and worth EVERY PENNY. I got a 710 thanks to TTP and can now apply to business schools with more confidence.

This confidence in my skills lead me to becoming excited for the exam and for scoring high. After extensive study using the course’s written material and quizzes, I was able to score a 760. I do not think this improvement would have been possible without TTP.
